Really liked the contrast paints made and used here - Lumineth are really detailed and traditionally comprise a lot of white and off whites, which I have found intimidating and frustrating to paint with in the past, but I like your methods here and will be giving something similar to this a try - thanks for the vid!

Thank you! And I completely agree, white is frustrating, the other contest paint, apothecary white, is really good too

I plan on using this! Is there a close pink contrast to what you’ve done? I don’t want to make my own mix. As well as for the blue you’ve used! Thanks

Awesome! The volupus pink looks pretty close, I don’t think that was around when I painted these

@@stalwartminiatures994Would you say that blue looks more similar to talasaar blue or Asurmen blue? Thanks.

They are both pretty dark, I havnt used Asurman but I know the Talasaar is pretty dark,I reckon Aethermatic blue is probably a better choice in my opinion@@martinwright4063

I looked it up, talasaar blue looks like it matches the most. Aethermatic is like green-ish white I think?

I love contrast paints, but the only thing I’ve failed to come close to mastering is with bright colored primer, if I don’t get the crevices it’ll stand out

    • @stalwartminiatures994

Have you tried priming with wraithbone with a pure white zenithal highlight? I have found white ink zenithal works great for me.

What did you use to prime the model? I think I missed it. Awesome vid !

Hi, sorry for the delay just saw this!, I used:
      Skeleton Horde
Pink Horror with Contrast medium (not an actual contrast paint just a sort of custom one)
      Wyldwood
      And I think thats it.

Thank you, admittedly I don’t usually, it’s not a bad idea to do though, I just haven’t found one that is matte enough yet
