fucken AWESOME Randy!!!!!!!!! Always delivers, saw him first time in 1978 at the Roxy on Sunset and a million times since...I've seen everyone who ever played Jimi's music live, and Randy is the only one who sounds just like Jimi (who I saw live on 6/21/70). If you love Jimi's music and haven't seen Randy play live and, GO SEE HIM!!! Get on a plane, whatever it takes...LOVE YOU RANDY HANSEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@siriosstar4789Oh Randy. Born in Seattle. So was Jimi. Randy's birthday is on November 27. So is JIMIS'. Randy's left handed but plays with his right hand. Jimi was also left handed.
The first player who mastered the Hendrix tone was Robin Trower . Then the band called Mahogony Rush built a career around that same sound . Next up was the very fine guitarist , Hansen .
There is a SRV tribute band on UA-cam that nails Stevie's vocals and tone on Voodoo Child. If you like this one you should check that one out too. He looks so much like Stevie that I though it was a fan shot concert video until I realized the resolution was way higher than anything most fan would've had access to when Stevie was still alive. We lost a universe of creativity to inspire and move us when those two cats left us. R.I.P. Jimi and SRV.
Great set ,but I want to know more about the girl in black dancing next to the two hippie chicks. Where have you been all my life,I want you!! That is a real woman.😍contact me here in Jersey.
I remember him from the past. Can’t remember exactly when. I had a Jr. Hansen album in the ‘70s and it was Hendrix like but this is not the same dude, anyway, he is fucking amazing. He is so outgoing and knows how to work a crowd. Oh, yeah, his playing is pretty dam good.
Why aren't guys like this pllaying places like wacken or bloodstock instead of joes bbq party or at a mall. He has been doing this for a long time. He needs a decent manager He's better than half of these modern bands.
Jimi Hendrix took other Great Legend joints and made them better,TheBoy Randy got to make Hendrix Joint Better, get Large on this planet.Prince do his own creative creation. GARY Clark like wise , & etc...???😮
He's a great guitarist but Fancy spending all of your time trying to sound like someone else, if I could do a great copy of the mona lisa would people give a sh*t I would be more interested in hearing Randy develop his own style.
ITS GREAT RANDY ITS AWESOME !
This guy is freaking amazing. Jimi Hendrix would even be shocked.
A nice guy, a hell of a guitar player - always great for the eyes & ears :)

Thx Randy for all thw years
I saw him right about the same time at the Starwood. When he flipped the guitar and kept playing was what impressed me the most.
Saw him at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go a couple of times in 1979/80. Epic.
The best!! I'm sure Jimi was watching from heaven and lovin it!!
What an amazing and humble genius. His "Whole Lotta Love" break was moving in its purity. It brought tears to my eyes, for real. Thank you.
Damn that was a cool show 🔥
How much he sounds like Hendrix vocally is amazing and the riffs are as close to Hendrix I have ever heard
" close to hendrix " lol, that's like saying the other horses that were behind Secretariat at the Belmont were ' close ' .
@@siriosstar4789 wow
Even more so than Frank.

One of the best videos I've seen for a long time on UA-cam.
The first player who mastered the Hendrix tone was Robin Trower . Then the band called Mahogony Rush built a career around that same sound . Next up was the very fine guitarist , Hansen .
Randy was doing this stuff before Trower in south western Washington state near Seattle
@@stevesosman3577Randy Hansen. b. November 27, just like Jimi. In, SEATTLE

Dammm that was awesome 😎 Randy Rules. Nice camera work too 🎸🤘
Man you would think it was hendrix

Nice segway to other songs and back...
He’s great but the audience is ill
Randy mashing up Jimi Hendrix & Jimmy Page: a double WHAMMY! We LOVE it!!! K U D O S!!!
There're some spastic people 'dancing' here.... But it's all good!! ✌️
wow he can do Alice and Chains that was a surprise.

I loved the bloke picking his nose in the background! I wish I had been there, I don't know if he's ever played here in the UK?

Not a bad rendition
I personally think he's better than Hendricks, Jimmy didn't live long enough to perfect his craft. Randy has .I'm sure somewhere Jimmy is smiling.
You’re nuts. Randy is good but better than Jimi. Stop dreaming.
He's a great guitarist but Fancy spending all of your time trying to sound like someone else, if I could do a great copy of the mona lisa would people give a sh*t I would be more interested in hearing Randy develop his own style.
