Spunky Smallmouth & Rainbow Trout at Upper Enterprise Reservoir (Fall ‘24)

Fishing footage from September 24th, 2024. A slow start in the morning warmed up to a fair bite later, but then a brisk north wind blew in and shut down the bit. Smallmouth are off the banks and suspended in the weeds about 50 feet from shore. The rainbow trout are schooling up offshore. Some kind of bug bite early in the morning. Lots of fish swirling and jumping. Low, cool water. Clarity is average, but some sides of the lake still have green algae. Tight lines, anglers!
