Thats good advice as far as waiting a little while before cranking. But these cars do not have any sensors or immobilizers on ignition or plug been a locksmith 20 plus years. I think it is a bcm issue . My advice dont buy h3 colorado cayon or isuzu truck
IF you notice the security light goes out after a failed attempt. This is a problem. ... Oh the lights don't go out. If it's a Passlock sensor the key has no chip in it. The security code is sent from the IMMO part on left side of steering column below the turn signal switch to the BCM which then decides if it's a go or not.
I think what he is saying is before you start your care “every single time” is to wait until all the other lights go out so the computer recognizes your key. This isn’t an immediate fix when you are locked out, you have to wait 10 minutes no matter what! Lol
