Powerful music! These three are simply amazing! The way Barry and Robin’s voices blend to sound like one voice! Wow! And Maurice! His deep tone always fills so perfectly. Watching them perform is such a treat. And they wrote all these lyrics! And they were so young! Love and admire these three brothers and their God given talent!

Okay where do I begin? Beautiful song, fantastically strong vocals, Robin looks adorable, great instrumentals, Robin looks adorable (no, that repetition was not a mistake). Unbelievable how this album wasn't appreciated at the time. The only excuse I can find for it is that there was just too much good music, around, especially in England so some bands, like the Bee Gees drowned in the shuffle. It's the only explanation I can find.

Often the camera would frequently show Barry in the foreground when both were singing lead simultaneously, eg "How deep is your love". People didn't notice Robin who was in the background was singing at the same time and, although quite different, their voices blended flawlessly. Part of their vocal allure was singing two lead melodies at the same time. Either could be distilled out and recognised as a lead vocal in its own right. Definitely in "Waterloo" the lead was shared.
