- Rapper Meek Mill visited Ellen for the first time and talked about his fight for criminal justice reform, and watching Ellen's show in jail. The hip-hop star was released from prison earlier this year after he was imprisoned on a technical probation violation. His fans began the #FREEMeekMill movement that saw almost 500,000 people sign a petition for his release, and he discussed how the campaign had an impact on his life.

Suga Ray It's good to talk about things that challenge people to think on deeper levels once in a while, just to be reminded of the harsh realities that some people are going through so we don't lose focus of what's important, and that's empathy.
