Hi Mariya. The case at 2:20 for Bac was changed when you said the sentence at 2:54 to mehe. The word for understand was change too, why?

Hi Robert. I think the answer to your question is noun cases and word changes related to whether it’s 1st person (I understand - ya rozumiyu) vs. 2nd person (you understand- Vy rozumiete). Ukrainian language has noun cases that affect word endings like “rozumiyu” is The first phrase is says “I don’t understand you” whereas the next one asks “do you understand me?” You in the first and the second case have different cases. Does it make sense?

@@mariyaukrainian thanks for your reply. Yes it makes more sense now after your explanation. I need to Google/search more on beginner's level of Ukrainian grammar to better understand verb and noun changes.
