Hey man I really enjoyed this, you can relax on the full on push it’s really informative and you can take ur time explaining each cable. Great job. Helped me with my pc.
The power motherboard connectors: It doesn't matter which way you plug in the power and reset switch headers they will work either way. The LEDs however if plugged in the wrong way won't light up but this won't destroy the LEDs. If there is no lights when you power on your PC just switch it off and plug them in the other way and they will be fine. And don't daisy chain more than 4 fans to one motherboard fan header as there won't be enough voltage.
Holy crap. I've spent hours trying to figure out what I did wrong. I searched up and down and couldn't figure out the problem and after God knows how long, I found it. I swapped the damn power and reset plugins.
How do I connect my case fans to the motherboard?? I think I knlw which one is the fan chord but the chird is so short it doen't reach it also does plugging 1 fan connect all??
what if my pc was turned off but my psu was still turned on and at the rams full speed it would have weird video glitches but just under its mhz (3533) it would be find, and then i got a new gpu which didn't work under load and just made my pc restart, was it my psus fault? and did leaving the psu on while adding the ram break my psu?
im building my first pc and im curious can i plug in an rgb fan header also my power for my case and an ssd all to one sata power cable or should i plug those into three seperate sata power cables?
I have no extra cables for rgb and all the fans are connected to this line this on the back which is connect to the sata cable and my fans are not lighting up. Help?
genuine question, I have a ryzen 5 3500 and 1650 super but i am upgrading and having a hard time figuring out to what yet. I thought about it and saw some bench marks on the 4070 and ryzen 5 5600x (was also thinking about the 5800X3D) they were pretty good, but i also saw a combo for ryzen 7 7700x with a motherboard and wifi for around 500 but I don't have the ddr5 ram. If I were to get the combo I am going to pair it with the 6800. Should I stick with the old AM4 platform or go to the new AM5 platfom.
@Geekawhat i wanted to thank you for all the great content, ive seen all your videos, i just wanted to ask for another live build with @PCCENTRIC, I really enjoyed it...we need more of it...god bless and hope this carries on.
Thanks for that! Very helpful. Got a question though. My m/b has a "PD_PWR" connector which connects to a 6 pin (well 8 pin with two pins at one end blocked off) "PCIE/CPU" connector on the PS. What is this used for? This is an MSI m/b and Corsair PS. Maybe PD stands for "power distribution", maybe? Thanks!
I’ve just build my first pc and I’ve got a pci gen 4 psu with a 4080 super? Should I buy an extension cable for the Gpu or will it be fine to keep the existing cables.
Bruhv thank you I was looking for hours took my whole pc apart looking for the other front panel connectors and they don’t exist I have the all in one front panel 😂
Panicking here over cables! I'm at the CPU. I found 8-pin cables, BUT NO 4-pin CABLES!!! Then I noticed the 8-pin cable can split. So do I put in the left side of the split? the right side? Split 2 from one side, 2 from the other and put in the middle? HEEEEEELP! 😓😓
I find it amazing that there isn’t a block connector for all the front panel switches and connectors. Why the hell am I placing on single wire connectors!?!? Can you say standardization. 🤷♂️
When i built my first pc I remember I has such a big problem with fans and rgb. I could have used this. I had to pay a computer shop $100 for just 10 minutes of wiring. It was ridiculous.
No way, you’ve uploaded this god send just at the time of me building my first PC
How does it run? My parts are all ordered and arriving soon!! I’m no hyoe
Literally have all my parts now and have been worried to get started but this just saved my day! Will be building it this week! Wish me luck y’all!
How did your build go ?
@@NickBaldonado-on7ie it blew up
You save my day. Just build my first pc on my own. life saver bro ❤
I just finished building my first pc a week ago. Wish I had this guide to help me!
I'm building my first right now and I'm stuck. Just need to figure out how to connect cables.😢
@@Spocklee felt that.
Actually very well put together vid, especially for beginners but even vets alike that need a refresh with the new hardware thats come out keep it up

Thank u soooo much for this video i needed it
I just bought a pc and this video is so helpful. Thank you
This video is goated bro. I was stuck with the little cables and this video explained very good even if i do not share any of the components.
Thanks for doing this video. Just doing my first build and it’s helped big time 👍

What a perfect tutorial.
Amazing video. Answering questions I didn't even think to ask. Now I know that those m2 locks are for ssd drives.
Exactly what I have been looking for.
This video came in clutch my pc parts came 2 days ago

does cables you need come with
the components?
If the motherboard does not have USB4, is there any way you can have it added?

Is it possible to use a 3 pin dc fan cable into a 4 pin

Very informational, thanks for giving the general location of where stuff goes.👍

If you are waiting a few more years to build a brand new pc with nicer components, stick to am4, but if you want a capable pc rn, go am5

not enough people talk about the actual fan wiring tbh

@Duckciety ok thanks, when I googled it some say yes some says no so I got a little confused

Do cases or motherboards come with f cables or any cables in general?
i have asus rog strix b550f wifi ll but why cpu cable is diferente to motherboard socket ?

What about the CPU cooer and fan? Where do you plug those in?

So glad I'm not into RGB, saves me from a lot of headache.
Same. Starting a new build and I am sticking to old school fans. The only flashy thing will be the AIO pump temperature reading.
What’s that case
7:32 Him trying to "slide" the case around. 😬 *GPU rattle*
did not help me at all omg
Bro fr he just talks about all the cables. Look at ur motherboard guide and see where shit goes then watch a guide on rgb and fans
