MBZ has to stop trying to sell cars to “average” people and get back to making luxury cars. That’s a C class. Period. Pathetic. And for gods sake stop tacking iPads to a cheap dashboard and get back to designing dashboards with integrated gauges.
Far superior interior than its alternatives imo. I bet it is the better gran tourer of the bunch as well. Those who look for a sportier experience should probably look at M / AMG versions.

How do dou think would a CLE 180 drive with 168 hp?
I used to work at a merc dealership here in Australia years ago and I always thought out of all the cars I drove there from AMG SL 65's to AMG 45's the one car I thought Id consider if I came into big money a E class convertible non amg (maybe get a few amg options). Easily the best value for money merc you can get. However these new C class ones are just as good if not better than the E. I do agree with you about the rear end .
Im sorry but all the previous E klasse coupes were always built on the C klasse platform, Mercedes just removed 2 models into 1 model now

Ah... thing is... pay half (!) for a prev gen C300 Cab and get 90% there? And no haptic junk! Once these come down in price they'll be good for what they are -- a daily errand cruiser...
Mercedes is so soulless.
Why the need for “all new”? It is an all new vehicle.
The new C-class with this same powertrain and wheelbase came out in 2022. This is the coupe version of that car.
I agree that that is a waste of money. I would not spend 90 grand on a Mercedes let alone that Mercedes as you said. There's simply not enough in it to justify such a high price tag for what is essentially, a C class with a soft top.
