Footage shows Merseyside battered by wind and rain

High winds and rain have hit Merseyside on a stormy start to Tuesday.
People across the region were today waking up to wet and windy conditions and possible travel delays. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning which has been in place since 1am today, Tuesday, April 9. It will be in place until 3pm today.
According to forecasters, the strong winds may bring "hazardous" coastal conditions and could cause some travel disruption. The Met Office added that coastal routes, seafronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
