Thank you for explaining the difference between different types of heels! I wore 5-inch platform, square-toed block heels for my grad ceremony. I was in them for about 6 hours and didn’t have any pain. Everyone kept asking how my feet weren’t in pain wearing heels for so long, and didn’t believe me when I told them I intentionally chose “comfy” heels. I have about 50 pairs of heels, so I’ve been able to figure out which ones I will be able to stand in for more than ten minutes lol
Great video, that was really useful. Thanks Annalise 👌. I'm nearly 50 & I'm still wearing my heels but I do tend to prefer high platforms with more blocky heels. I'm going to keep wearing fab shoes & my fave ankle boots for as long as I can. My poor Mum had to go to Hotter shoes once to change a pair of shoes, this was whilst we were out shopping. She knew I loved my mad heels & bless her, she was so embarrassed & apologetic that she dragged me in there. "You can stand outside & wait for me, if you'd prefer", she said. 🤭. Loving your dress, it's the 💣. Also your make-up & jewellery, Girl you look fab-u-lous in today's vid. Shame about you're silver strappys. Also, I agree about the maxi-pad hack, so gross.
As a 66 year old woman. I no longer wear heels. I also have plantar fasciitis. Meaning when stepping down on your foot it feels like a knife going through you foot...in your heel or arch or both. So ladies be good to your feet. Take good care of them because as you age...foot problems will arise. I wear a shoe insert to help. There is still pain but not as much. So I can walk a little longer. I miss my long walks. So take good care of your feet ladies...and they will thank you later. Also as you age the padding on the feet gets much thinner, making it pain full to walk on hard surfaces...oh the joys of getting older.😊
I get you girl. I use to have problems with the ball of my foot really bad with the plantar fasciitis and that hurts so much. I had it only on my left foot. I ended up trying physical therapy, but that didn’t work, so they suggested a cortisone shot. I did that and luckily since I had that done several years ago, I no longer have that anymore. Have you had that done yet?
I had plantar fasciitis for so long, they considered surgery. I didn’t go for it, but started wearing Birkenstocks from the moment I got up to the moment I went to bed. It got rid of my issue. Hope it can help someone else.
@@amybourget6046I did Cortisone shot a few times. It wore off, but did provide relief while it lasted.
I just got into bed and thought I would catch one of your videos and you just uploaded this 2 minutes ago 😄 love your content! X
love ya! xoxo
Same here, it's 00.40 in the Netherlands.
And this is why we love you girlyyyyyy ❤thank you for testing these hacks out!
Stuffing something into the toe box only makes your shoes tighter and therefore can't work. But you can try using other sort of padding on the bottom that prevents or at least minimizes your feet from sliding forward. As for shoe styles, modern heels have heels where the heel goes straight down in the back, while older styles curve forward a bit, so that the stiletto tip is 1/2" or so more forward. I found that older style a lot more comfortable to wear.
I really liked the explanation of heels and viral tips from this video! Love ya Annalise
I love the look of high heels but when I actually shop for heels I do a pinky rule. If it’s the same as my pinky or smaller I can purchase them. Saved so many heels that I actually wear instead of wearing for a few hours and then changing into flats
U are literally georgeous ❤❤
Lady Gaga wears 5 inch high heels and I was always wondering how she handle all that pain. Analise is a queen for wearing high school heels!
Preach girl.
Love you.❤️🩷
8:56 I love your makeup!!!!
I'm always excited to watch these videos.
Thank you so much!!
@@AnnaliseWood Do you have any Nine West heels or flats? I really love Nine West, due to their long-lasting comfort.
What a great topic!
Ahh, this video concept is brilliant and surprisingly underdone. The Subscribe button as a censor bar is genius. And hilarious. 🖤🖤
As a person who habitually wear something exactly like that black pumps, I could definitely attest to the fact that it freaking hurts
Something that helps me for blisters is putting "moleskin" on the part of my shoe that rubs. Don't worry it's not actually mole skin! They sell it in the same department with the shoe inserts.
Could you please do a review on the Vivian Lou heel inserts? They’re supposedly life changing for heel girlies
Thank you for sharing. You are beautiful and very fit . People with extra weight are having more difficulties , the shoes have to hold more .
Hope you've been having a good holiday season so far.
same to you xx
I wear bandaids on some closed toe shoes for me my pinkie and toe next to it is always hurting so if I put a bandaid it won’t rub those toes
Love your videos gal
I wish a had legs like Annalise! ❤😅
do not tape the toes together it can make you unaware of nerve damage occurring!
also the toes are naturally suppose to splay and binding feet can lead to deformities that have lasting damage to your feet and mobility
4 months before Christmas an you already have a tee up?!?! What about Halloween?!?!
“I don’t want my dogs hangin out the end of the shoe” 😂
The does numbing spray make your feet slippery at all?
Annalise sweetie, I would take that Ice spray with me in case the pain starts haha. Spray them in the toiletroom and nobody will know ;-)
For people like me, with diabetes this is not allowed (on the feet) because we already feel less there and if there were a wound then we would hardly know what could be dangerous! Such a wound can become extremely infected, you know? So that is the reason, not the spray! Healthy people can use it without problems.
BTW: I love such sprays, icy cold things (cause I've got a warm heart I can deal with that ROFL!).
Lots of love from Pinkie
Do you see a change in your feet from your years of wearing high heels. I know my girlfriend can run a mile in them too, but she says she hasn’t had a good foot day in years.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
9:18 What color are your toenails?
you are so beautiful😍
9:59 You're as sweet as sugar because you wear black heels!!!
🤢
You would think the maxi pad would work because it absorbs the sweat...
"Chemist"??? Do you mean pharmacist?
We alternate those words in NZ and Aussie. A Chemist can be a pharmacy or a pharmacist. Idk why you're fixated on that.
Shcoking, people in other countries have different words😮
Literally interchangeable in Aus and NZ. Don’t correct another country’s dialect
8:42 You should've worn flats to your business meeting instead of heels because flats are more comfortable than heels.
You should try clothing hacks next
