In today's video I am showing our new Gererac tiller. This has been a great add to the homestead and allowed us to increase the size of our garden by a huge amount. We also share some tips and tricks that will help with any tiller you may be using. Hope you enjoy the video and want to thank everyone for their support.
@@SmallSpaceLiving hey guys - fyi - when you get to the rows end and are turning it to start back down, lift her up so the drag stake comes all the way out of ground - mines a little bent from the sideways pressure of turning
@@kingscairn Good advice.
Interesting video. I've never operated a tiller. Amazing how it digs through the rocks. Generac certainly does put out a good product. full support
Thanks for watching. I learn more each time I use this one. Been really solid so far. It pulls the rocks up and I toss them out. Thanks for the support.

Thanks for watching man. A word of wisdom from a friend. Don't ever start to use one it's hard work. lol It's really not to bad the more I get the hang of it. You are correct that Generac seems to be pretty solid overall on their stuff. Hope you and Debbie are doing great.
Loved the video looked like you had a hard time on that tiller but you did a good job tell Jess thumbs up on putting that tiller together she done a great job love you both be safe tomorrow with the bad storms coming thru
What do you mean hard time. I handled that thing like a pro. lol Jess did do a great job. We are ready for the storms. Thanks for watching.
Finally got one as soon as it came out….. Now that is a nice little machine. Makes it a-lot easier than getting a horse and having to run behind it. And its also a nice rock garden, for a little bit anyways. Ha Ha. Jessica did a great job putting that thing together. That safety shield is a must for sure. Waiting for the veggies to come out. Thanks for sharing. Nice video.👍👍👏👏👏
Hey glad they let you in the club fast this time. lol Yeah it has been really good and saved me a ton of time. We got lucky last year and a buddy came with his tractor but I hate asking people and wanted to be able to do it myself. The rocks are crazy. Pick a bunch out every time I walk down there. I was just glad to get some work out of Jessica. lol She did do a great job. We should have plenty this year. Looking forward to seeing how it does. Thanks for watching y'all.
Can't wait to see your garden
Thanks Mary, we are for sure ready to see some stuff in there as well. I can't wait to eat it. We will be having another big part of our new garden setup coming very soon on a video. I think you will like that one.
Your very welcome.. can't wait to see it
Wow, that's a big area you tilled in 45 minutes. Nice review, glad it's working well for you. You say those directions weren't very good, but Jessica could understand them just fine. Glad she didn't have to till it for you too, lol. Cleopatra is a beautiful cat. You guys have a very cool homestead! Take care :) Debbie - BluWave Odyssey🌊
Hey Debbie, yeah it's a massive garden Jessica is going to have this year. Jessica is smarter than me. I can't argue that. Playing dumb gets me out of a lot of stuff. lol I may make her get out there for a round of tiling at some point. Gots to put in the work. lol Yeah Cleopatra is great. She is very nice. Thanks on the homestead. We are getting there day by day.
Nice video, sounds like being in the holler at Nancy and Gommers in KY with the chickens. Boy there is a lot of rock in there.
Yep it was fun days going to KY as kids. There is a ton of rocks. Got a lot of it cleaned up now but need to get better equipment down the road to get it even better.
Oh Man! That's a niiiice'un. I used to run a tiller for Sue's garden, but nothing that nice. That's exactly what you need for that size garden. Great job Jessica! You go girl! Nice work there buddy, but you better put you cap on. You're going to burn your bean, Lol. Cleo is purrrrrdy! Wish we had a Country Home Products around here! Thanks for sharing!
Man it has been great so far. Now I just need to get better with it. Got it on sale. Country Home Products is all online. They have all kinds of cool stuff. I am not affiliated with them but just like them. They ship everything for free. Yeah it was nice to get Jessica to do something around here. lol I aint wore a cap in years. Afraid it will make my hair fall out. hahahah Thanks for watching buddy. Hope y'all are doing great.

Yer soooo funny 🤣😂🤣 I'll have to check CHP out on line then. Say hey to Jessica. Oh, and about that cap ... I know some old guys without hair who stay at the dermatologist because they didn't cover that bean and got skin cancer up there. Just sayin' ... Take care of each other and those critters.
@@JurgensJourneys you are correct on the hat. I never learn. Lol Will tell Jessica and the critters. Might get me a cowboy hat. Hummm
@@SmallSpaceLiving
YeeeeeHahhh
there you go.
@@JurgensJourneys Cowboy up. lol
That is a must have for homesteading! You are actually working! Does Steve know this? Great review seems to be quality built. Do y’all miss camping at all?
Yeah it has been great having this. We hate asking people for help which we had to do last year. Nice to be able to do it myself. When you see me working get a pic cause it don't happen often. Steve stays away from work more than me so I doubt it. He don't watch my videos anymore. He drinks haterraid. lol It really is a good setup on this thing. Generac does pretty good stuff. You know at times I miss parts of it and other times I don't. I like to roam so that part of me misses it. The stress or travel and RV issues I do not miss. I will say I like this lifestyle better than RVing overall but like both. What we are doing now want last forever either though. No way we can maintain this as we get older. We already need help. lol Hope y'all are enjoying your time on the road. Are you still at that losers homestead?
@@SmallSpaceLiving LOL… no we are back in Tennessee.
@@DreamingOutloudRVing well welcome back to the best state. We all need to get together at some point.
Have you put a earthquake hiller furrower plow on the back yet - I have that tiller but even with the xtra brackets it's not going on
Sorry no I have not. I hope you are able to get it figured out.
@@SmallSpaceLiving thanks - have to do a little fabrication
@@kingscairn I am sure you will nail it. Best of luck. Hope it works great.
Yes - sorry - meant to update - ok, 1st off - I FEEL LIKE AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT - 2nd It couldnt be any easier - I was trying to attach it to the drag stake - on some brands thats how it's done - nope, the breach on the plow bracket is to small / stake is to thick - get ready to smack yourself in the forehead - Just remove the drag stake altogether - lift handelbars up so tines are off the floor and machine is resting on it's nose - lift the shroud flap - look past where Drag Stake goes through bracket - you'll see a hole in the Drag Stake Bracket - now smack yourself again because that's the hole your plow mounts to - one of the longer ( the 4 smaller bolts with 4 flat washers and 4 saw washers are for the adjustable hilling wings ) bolts and 10mm lock nuts lines up and secures the plow to bracket - now you can bust fresh ground with plow ( I'm going to remove the tines for that to see if it will ) and then go back ocer later to cultivate and bust up plow clots with tines and then a 3rd time with plow and wings for hilling - 3 n 1 machine now - good luck with yours - piece a cake now
The Drag Stake Pin with spring wont go through plow mounting hole - didnt try it on the Drag Stake Bracket hole ( looks the same ) - you'd have to drill the D. S. Bracket hole for the D.S. Locking Pin to work - would be nice though
Hellooooooo UA-cam
Well hello back. lol
Helloooooo Jessica! :)
