Hands up the smart woman who's never fallen for one of those ads. I keep the charity shops going with purchases like that! Actually in a nice fabric and well finished it could have been really nice. I'd wear something like that to waft about in the evening on holiday.

The colour of your top looks exactly the same as your eyes! It looks lovely on you. I really enjoy your UA-cam videos. The first blue dress was very flattering on you. When I lived in the South Lakes I used to shop Asda for some very nice baby clothes to send home to the states. They had a nice quality. When I visit again this summer I will check out the clothes at Asda. Thanks for thorough descriptions.

Dear Helen you are always look smart and so well put together, isn’t always funny how as women we always have self doubt, I do it all the time - I’m working on it. It’s disappointing when an item we’ve bought doesn’t turn out to be what we imagined, it was a lovely colour green. Oh Helen you made me laugh out loud when you said you didn’t know what you were thinking when you bought the last outfit, you saw yourself wafting around somewhere in it 🤣🤣. The times I’ve looked at these young gorgeous influencers and done the same thing and fallen for it in the past but now I give my head a wobble and say to myself “just where and when do you think you’re going to wear that”. I also don’t watch that many young influencers anymore preferring your hauls, you are so real and it brightens up my day when I see you’ve uploaded a new video. The first dress is lovely, better still in any shade of blue . 2nd dress is beautiful, lovely shade and broderie is pretty. Looks cool . 3rd dress is great too. Last dress is brilliant too . Don't apologise for blue , it's my favourite colour ! I gravitate to blue too . The natural shirt looks smart on you . Those colours suit you .

Dress #2 was a beautiful colour - and looked great on you as a bardot style. Loved dress #4 with that turquoise blue print. A good haul from George - I'd be happy with any/all of your selections! I liked the colour and style of the green 2-piece, but polyester would put me off.

Oh great haul Helen. Loved the dress you got in 3 colours. Loved the very loose long sleeved dress that you could see yourself floating around Greece in lol. I actually thought that suit looked fab on you love clothes like that floaty style and the colour was great. On you. The opening jumper from halara with the jeans looked very nice on you. All round Helen you looked stunning as usual. You won’t have a problem keeping up with your sisters that’s for sure take care.

Everything looked fab on you, including the green two piece. I think polyester we get nowadays is different from the polyester we used to get and I don’t feel I get so overheated as I used too. It looks very comfortable. ❤

Loved the geometric floaty dress and went into asda today to get it. There is 20% off all dresses but they didn’t have it. Got home, gutted and looked on line. I collect it on Thursday and it cost £14.40… bargain! Thank you for showing it, I’d never had tried it on

I came upon your channel last night quite by chance
The video I watched was the one where you mentioned your hair falling out also on another video you mentioned A Fib
Well the two things are connected I think.
I was diagnosed three years ago with the same thing 🙈cut a long story short started taking the meds and consequently my hair started to shed I was devastated!!to say the least.I swear it’s the meds I feel better now and after about two years my hair has recovered but not without a lot of tender care no colouring!! lots
of pre wash overnight oils and regular trims
It’s not back to it’s former glory but I’m happy with it the medication definitely the reason it started falling out so there is hope oh yes and I use Aveda deep conditioning treatment expensive,but worth it

The green outfit looks very relaxing in style but, a big but, the style requires a bit of weight in the fabric to hang well,especially at the front. That was def not happening 😂. I think the George clothes were excellent value and,as you said ,extremely useful for a holiday somewhere warm. I think your choice of dress was spot on and I can def see you drifting coolly about on your Greek island.
I have two sisters, I am the youngest ,and I totally recognise your desire to ‘ keep up’. We are all still a little competitive even at our great age. Thank you Helen xx

I'd leave it on a hanger overnight and try on when feeling more upbeat. I think with your hair up and some lovely earrings it would look very swish. As you say, polyester not ideal on a hot day but at least it's easy to pack and launder ❤

So funny that you find blue in your choices - same here, punctuated with greens, whites, grays and black. Trying to add more beiges, but not near the face. You, however, look great in beiges.
YES! Lightweight cotton is definitely the way to comfortable and cool (and/or linen). Also exploring benefits of wool and silk year-round lately, even if it seems counter-intuitive. Finding my wool active wear socks and clothing (walk daily) are just super. Anything that is easy to wash and hang or tumble dry. No preference for driving self nuts with complicated clothing now at 64! Definitely see why you took a chance on that last outfit, as it does have a very nice style, but agree - I bet you would not wear it. Also like how the shirt and pants looked on you with the trainers. Such a nice presentation.
