      Maybe it affected her vision. I got to have this done in 2 months but only on my upper lids bcz it is affecting my vision to the point I get about 2-4 migraines per week, I had cataract surgery 11 months ago thinking my vision would be fixed n still kept seeing blurry, after 3 different opinions from 3 different doctors n several tests to determine the cause, they found it’s my eyelids bcz they sit on my eyelashes. So I made the decision to get it done. Not sure if she had the same issue apart from not being happy how she looked.

    I had this procedure when I was in my late forties. I went through a day when I felt exactly the same way. I cried one morning and told my husband “I’ll never look like me again. What have I done?” My young son ran to me and hugged me. He looked up at me and said “I’m looking at the most beautifulest girl in the whole wide world”. I laughed and it made me feel better. I promise you are going to be so happy with the change. All the bad feelings are so normal. One day you will be “ the most beautifulest girl in the whole wide world”!

    I've had this done and absolutely...cutting on your face will make you feel a bit sad or depressed. All the stress beforehand and not knowing how it's going to look adds more stress...try not to cry. Salty tears will make you itch more. Put the hard part is really over and you'll love the results. I. 70 and nobody believes it. I had bags and heavy droopy lids and now I don't. So have faith...you're going to love it. I'm excited for you.

    Hi Nisha, first thing I was shocked about was just how droopy your eyelids were before. I must say you were a pro with your makeup at how well you disguised them. I had seen where you had shown them before but maybe I just didn’t realize it and trust me, I have the same problem except bigger bags underneath. It is amazing how good your surgeon did and I cannot wait to see your results next Sunday! As someone who has had many surgeries, none cosmetically the depression is definitely a part of it. I severely broke my arm a couple years ago and had to sleep sitting up for four months. After that it took me forever to get used to laying back normal in bed. It’s strange how things disrupt our normal life routines and the impact it makes on us. You look fantastic even with the bruising and swelling still remaining. So happy it was a success!

I just recently found your channel so i don't know if you respond to questions, but I'll give it a try. I don't have big bags under my eyes. My eyes have gotten sunken, creating dark blue shadows under my eyes. Correctors don't work because a shadow can't be covered up. There's not a thing i can do to get rid of the horrible dark sunken eyes. Does anybody know if there's a surgical procedure . 😊 Like i said I've gotten numerous color correctors...I'm at a total loss! Thanks.

    In January, I had upper bletharoplasty upon the recommendation of my eye doctor. Insurance paid the bill. I thought I needed new glasses because I was falling forward and tripping regularly, also severe headaches and neck pain because I was lifting my head to see forward and up. Like yours, eyelids were resting on my eyelashes. Ophthalmologist Dr. Samara of Atlantic Eye Institute, Jacksonville, FL did an excellent job. I look great and younger, but best of all, I can see clearly again and not falling. No pain, just uncomfortable tightness and ugly bruising.

    • @Gigi-z3z
      @Gigi-z3z 24 дні тому +1

      That is the reason why insurance will pay for the surgery because they’d rather pay for the eye surgery vs the falls that come from people not realizing that they are not seeing fully! Medically necessary!

      Hi 👋 did u have any pain? I’m going through the same thing. Ur comment caught my attention. My contact lens kept changing prescription every 4-6 months, I then saw an eye dr that said I had cataract n I did the cataract surgery 11 months ago, although I can see a little better now don’t need glasses or contacts my vision is blocked my my upper lids bcz they sit heavy on my lashes. I get terrible migraines at least 2-4 of them weekly and I also have the neck pain bcz I have to be positioning my head some type of way to see without my lids being in the way. Insurance will cover it bcz at this point it’s medically needed. I’m having it done this November with Dr. Aliza Epstein here in Plantation Florida. She also has to cut n tighten the muscle on the lids n then remove the excess skin. I’m a bit nervous n hope this won’t be painful. Any advice u can give me please? 🙏

    • @Gigi-z3z
      @Gigi-z3z 12 днів тому +1

      @@Gursikhcouple13 I doubt that you would have any pain. On the upper blepharoplasty, just a small piece of skin is taken. You will need a week to 10 days of daily ointment on the eye. With the eye muscle which is called ptosis surgery, I am not sure about that, but I doubt that there will be much pain at all. The procedure you are getting by most accounts is a highly rewarding small surgery. You are having so many troubles that show that you need the surgery. You will see and feel so much better! All the best to you and take care!

    I had the same procedure done in Bali last year. Just given a Valium and local anesthetic. I was out shopping 4 hours after I left the clinic. No overnight stay and I went back the following day and a nurse gave it all a lovely clean. No steri strips at all but mine was done by laser. I continued to enjoy my holiday in bali and by day 4 you could hardly tell I had anything done. Stitches out on day 7 and I looked amazing. I did use a scar cream and massaged for several weeks. By 8 weeks you could barely see any scars. After 6 months there was absolutely no scar and no one would ever know. Apart from I looked more awake and had lids which made make up easier. No regrets but as we age the sagging will come back and I will definitely go back and have it done again. Best thing I did for myself. Can't wait to see your final results! Yours must have been very expensive to go under general and stay over night! I was in and out of the clinic within 2 hours maximum with local. Much easier on the body 😊

It’s been hard watching you go through this but lovely at the same time as I know what the long term results will mean for you. You’ve always looked amazing, but this has definitely made a huge difference. I really hope that you will love the long term results. I have thought about doing this for a while, but I’m just not ready yet. My hooded eyes are not as hooded and down turned as yours were prior to this, but I am definitely getting more and more self conscious over them. Oh shame!! It looks so sore, although you said no pain, it looks like you were in a boxing match 😟 Feeling cross with myself that I didn’t recommend you start taking Arnica pilules beforehand as they also really help with bruising. At least you know that each day that passes is a day closer to being back to ”normal”. Hope it’s a speedy recovery, enjoy your sunshine and see you soon.🌸

    I am 1 month out of my upper blasp and had nothing like what you look like. There were no steri strips. No stitches hanging on my face. I was swollen and 1 eye looked like I had a black eye. Other than that… I didn’t feel a thing..no after pain..whole surgery was less than an hour..not including post op and pre op.
    I am still trying to figure out my makeup. It will be nothing like you have been doing up till now. The one difference is you could actually go without makeup and look good. You’re gonna be so happy…

    I have been using red light on my face and chest for a year now and my little moles are almost gone. I couldn’t believe how much they went down. Everything I read about the red light is wonderful I would love to get one of the masks for my neck and face but they’re too expensive so I just have a lightbulb set that I hold in front of my face and chest. It’s working pretty good.

    Nisha, I think your surgery results are perfect, and you have not completely healed yet! If you did eat pineapple or take bromelain, it has kept your swelling way down. This makes me rethink the possibility of having my hooded eyes done, but I am already 63, so I keep thinking I've lived with them this long, maybe it's pointless at my age, lol :o) Julia

    Yay so good to see you even if a bit bruised and battered, bless you. But Nisha you have healed so well, especially as the eye area is so delicate. From what we are able to see already the transformation will be brilliant and worth the stitching and bruising to achieve it. I think with any surgery whether cosmetic or other there is always so many different emotions attatched. Anaesthetic would cause all of the things you felt along the way but now just admire the results. I am excited to see your first make-up video with you new eyes. I am waiting until my breast biopsy on May 28th at 10:30 PST. The whole ordeal started in December with my mamo then in February I had a 3D mamo and Ultrasound then waiting until May and they don't put you to sleep. I know it will be painful and I hope they let Daniel come in to hold me. I have been so depressed about it that I have been ill for about 3 weeks or more. I am a nurse now retired but I must say you surgical brusing is minimal I have seen worse. I had the same surgery 9 years ago! (I’m now 72.)Yes, and I was bruised also. That’s par for the course. Every surgery is different, but I never regretted it at all. I could see the the improvement through the stitches and bruising from the beginning. Was told to sleep on an incline until swelling dissipated also. Once the stitches were removed, I was so happy with the results. You should look beyond any residual swelling. It takes at time. Trust me you’re going to love the results. 💕
