I prefer neutrals and separates so this haul was right up my street ! The first outfit and the cream jacket and crochet outfit were fab, the latter would be such an elegant summer wedding guest look.
If only I had a summer wedding to go to.... haha xx
I do a capsule wardrobe, and you're right - it makes getting dressed so much easier, you can mix and match it all. I liked the first blouse, but not with the skirt, I like the idea of the crochet set, but really don't like when the lining doesn't come down full length (plus I think all of the skirts were too long for you - straighter looks better shorter). Love the silky blouse, and the Next jacket, and the skirt is much nicer than the straight ones - the movement is so much more flattering (and that skirt would go with all the other pieces so would be so handy).

I loved that jacket, but just couldn't justify it. When I took it back the sales assistant said, ooh that's lovely, it nearly killed me to return it! haha xx

Really like the first outfit, especially the way the patterns are cut differently, it’s very flattering, be nice as a wedding guest outfit as you can dress it up. The crochet outfit is very smart again, a possible party outfit, a good holiday outfit that could be dressed down with a t shirt and posh trainers. All the outfits looked lovely, that colour way really suits you. Keep the first outfit defo.

Love this episode, thanks! I actually BOUGHT the 'CLEAN and CRISP" (!) blue M&S dress with white flowers the other day because of you! While there I also bought the trousers that match the skirt and top you modelled first in this video! (cream and brown) They only had the trousers but I'll go back and look for the top and skirt today, as you've made them look so good too! Thank you, Helen!

Thanks Helen for your haul. I preferred you in the first outfit the marching skirt and blouse that looked like a dress it looked very classy. Also the silky bronze blouse looked lovely on you. I wish I had a dressing room as my wardrobe is already bursting but I keep seeing more things that I like🤪but don’t have the room or the occasions to wear them. Love the jacket from Next! I wish I had a reason to wear. I retired a couple years ago and always “dressed for success.” If I was still working I would definitely want that.

Totally, really difficult when you retire, 6 years on I’m finally sorting my wardrobe and getting rid of my now out of date business wear. Then I’ll go and buy a capsule wardrobe to that I can wear on a day to day bases.

You have a real talent for selecting colours, pattern & style Helen- these pieces look so elegant on you ! I particularly loved the first outfit , the patterned shirt and skirt. The shirt would look fabulous with your ecru jeans also.
The white jacket over the crochet 2 piece made another stunning outfit, special enough for a wedding guest outfit I thought, especially with the elegant shoes.
The ivory jumper was pretty also and agree the colour of the silky blouse also makes it a winner.

Well Helen, for me the first outfit with the brown skirt is much more preferable. The shoes are dainty and very smart. I have the last cardigan in a number of shades, so comfortable and will go with most things on trend on the moment. The jacket from next is just a treat and looks classy. Wishing your husband good luck with his operation. My husband had an ablation (the one that freezes as there are 2 ways) as he suffered really badly with A/F that operation was over a year ago and now has a much better quality of life. Take care xx
Thank you. We had high hopes for Rob's ablation, but it triggered a heart attack and consequently loads more medication and now he is in permanent AF.... so fingers crossed for this next procedure... xx

I vote for the first shirt. The matching skirt was great but maybe you could save the money by matching it to something you already have in your wardrobe. The toffee shirt was a winner as well. Such a nice colour on you.
