Saw Jude in the knockout stages in the champions league and he was outplayed everytime. He had a good season in Spain but at the highest level he gets found wanting. After that came the era with R7 etc. What would you say about todays team compared to the really good generations of RM? I’d say almost below average. Just because Madrid play him as a 10 doesn't mean he is a 10. The reason he moved into a 10 is because Madrid don't have space for him in that midfield. Kroos, Tuchameni, Modric, Valverde and Camavinga. But for England he should be playing next to Rice. He has the legs and it should be Bellingham and Rice together with Foden in front.

Jude just experienced what it feels like to get appreciation from every corner of the football world, but he should be also aware of ugly side of the football world when you encounter failure and world will hate you.
I can see Jude is mentally frustrated right now
And there is quick fix for this issue, just call any Real Madrid legend like Modric, Kroos, Carvajal, Ramos and talk with them for 10-15 mins and they can guide him to deal with his current situation because these players have experienced these situations and turn around the tables many times
But I want Jude to take hard path absorb these criticisms and figure the way out himself, that way he will grow and become stronger

I don't understand the clamour for foden to play as a ten he doesn't play there for city in fact he's played more on the left for pep than he has through the middle. Jude needs a runner infront of him ie Watkins as kane isn't up to it and likes to play in judges space.

Talent without character is a waste of talent. If he doesn't make an impact in this tournament, you have to question his character. I remember watching Dutch TV back in the 90s and the football panel pundits, which include some of the Dutch's great names said of Gazzer, he has the talent to be great but not the character to be great. Strength of character being a self starter without reliance on others is a must.

Jude did not win UCL or La Liga. Real Madrid did, he just got lucky to be in a squad where everybody around him is making him look good by giving him the easy tasks. He was good at Dortmund but not great, at Real Madrid he has not been good at all, just lucky that the rest make it so easy for him. It's easy if the Squad around you is doing the work, but the English squad is not doing it for him hence why he is not reflecting his price tag of 180m. He had a few moments at Real Madrid but no good overall performance yet, a good coach who realizes that would sack and replace him with someone else. How has no one acknowledged that Foden is constantly dropping into the middle and forcing Bellingham outside? I mean, we saw him playing what looked to be left winger quite often last game. Seems selfish of Foden and Bellingham is just filling in the empty space constantly on left.

Birmingham city fan here so I should be even more bias towards jude , and ability wise he's up there with any midfielder. Though for me the thing I'm not liking which he never had on the pitch before is some petulance . He is always moaning and stropping with his head down . Now bellingham has always been confident with leadership qualities but for me I'm worried the ego is getting to him a bit much . The best midfielders in the world have full control not only of the pitch and ball but themselves too. Let the emotion erupt when you score or smash someone with a great tackle but bellingham is just looking too hot headed and bothered and this type of behaviour negatively effects the team.
Bellingham was always a cool calm confident young man with a bit of bite and fight about him. But lately he's looking like a flustered hot head leaning towards arrogant who screams and shouts not to lead but to simply have a whinge.

Most people think he's the complete package who should be and is ready to be the star man for England I think this makes him over rated. As for me he's still a young player with heaps of ability and could indeed be a footballing legend but its silly for us as a nation to rely on a midfielder his age. Stating that he plays the same game as in RM is a bit wild i'd say, i agree that he underperformed last 2 games but 3 players are contesting the place of the number 10 on the pitch (Foden cause he doesn't feel well on the LW, Kane who drops constantly, and Jude who plays an attacking 8 kind of play), the 10 space is so overcrowded in that team its insane, to prevent that last game he played half the game in LW thats just terrible, its as bad as playing Guehi as a number 10, I'm not trying to say that Jude's performance is okay but i think the fish stinks from the head, you can't expect him to be good playing as a LW and contesting a number 10 place when 2 other players are there, neither can Foden perform on 100% when 2 others are contesting his preffered place on the pitch and nor Kane can if he doesn't have the pacy wingers that he could supply his passes running back. This is not a system, this is just making players who know 1 thing play others trying to play Foden as a winger, trying to play Kane as a whatever i don't even know what Southgate wants with him, and sometimes playing Jude as a stiff, stationary playmaker, sometimes wanting him to be a LW sometimes an attacking midfielder sometimes a defensive midfielder, sometimes a second striker. I think simply Jude is such a mess there because he is not even told what to do he is like the ultimate "do whatever is needed on the pitch even if you are supbar in that"

Bellingham is only 20 years old. The term overrated is used way too frequently in my opinion. He has been hyped up incredbly. He has not had any impact because of the utterly defensive setup chosen by Southgate. Also has been a very long season, including a UCL final…to pin it all on a 20 year old while the experienced guys get away with it doesn‘t sit right with me!

Jude Bellingham is not overrated. The dynamics of this England squad is all wrong.
Look at how much runners he has at Madrid first 11... Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Mendy, Valverde and now they are adding Mbappe and Endrick.
Compare that to what he has to work with in the England first 11. The only player that consistently runs in behind is Walker. Theres a lack of pure athleticism in this England first 11.
We have too many technicians in our 11. Everyone wants to come deep and want ball to feet. Which leaves us with no shape and the inability to stretch teams.

Cole palmer offers far more to worse teams then Bellingham has played in. Literally carried Chelsea all season almost on his own. And shows his class in 20 odd minutes for England yet again while at Jude Gareth’s little buddy has played every game and barely showed anything more then the others
