Love the swing pump! :) ps.. cruiser here, for couple of reasons, fuel economy and kangaroos.. :)
reminds me of the 2007 Kingston Lions Club fishing competition, 30 cars were swamped by a kingtide, we were up on the dunes watching the water come higher and higher till it submerged the cars, nothing could be done, was just a freak weather anomaly.
Crazy what the weather can do and how you can get unlucky!
As old bushy you always camp behind sand dunes in amongst the shrubs sheltered from the wind and tides the sea is so unpredictable.
That’s what we should have done 👍🏽
Great guys.... Thanks for tip on wheel bearings.. Nice..
Cheers Richard for watching!
Depends on the scenery to cruise or speed limit. Two days on the Nullarbor is cruise then turns into, I'm over it LETS JUST GET THERE . Another great video Thank you.
Yes I’m glad others understand my logic especially with Nullarbor driving. It’s so boring! Haha
90 for me when towing more fuel efficient equal wear and tear on parts towing heavy load at reasonable speed faster you go more damage can happen more fuel more repairs = less time for holidays.
👍🏽👍🏽
Hi there, I'm just the cruise type 90 to 95, love the videos have watched them all, more please, happy travels. 😊
Thanks for watching!
You drive the same as Bryce, just cruising along 🥰👍🏽
Great video guys :) love your little advertisement on your car for the mobile plumbing :)
Thanks for watching Michael!
Guys hope to be doing the same soon
The red fish is a red mullet or Goat fish pending what state your in
Oh cool thanks for commenting 🐠🐠
Goatfish ✅
Studying the menu is an absolute MUST!
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
14:44 That's a Goat fish, good tucker, i got a spot in Jurien bay if you need a stopover in WA, just let me know if you require a safe place to sleep
Oh thanks so much!
Might reach out when we get closer 👍🏽
@Official - C L U D O E W S. cheers mate!
Hey guys its a Red Mullet or goat fish. can eat them but pretty ordinary.Another top episode.
Cheers Peter for the info 🥰👍🏽
What vegetables we can we cook the night before crossing the border, they are then acceptable. The first supermarket on the road is at Norseman, another 730 km west, and they can quite often be sold out of greens. Tinned food is plentiful there. Fruit, honey, nuts, certain seafoods/shell fish, are all on the banned list at the border also.
Cheers John for the comment and info 👍🏽
Hi guys , just watching the episode. If you’re coming to Esperance, we are doing driveway sharing, so if you want somewhere to park, give us a holler
Hey Adele!
We’re actually past Esperance now and in Bremer Bay. We’re about a week behind on videos.
Thanks for the offer though 👍🏽
Goat fish/ red mullet, great vid enjoy it over here
Thanks Trev for identifying the fish 👍🏽👍🏽
90 to 95 for us no hooning with a van on 😂😂😂
Thats the best way! Not in a rush on holidays
Good stuff couple of crack ups .u know your on a winner wene the video ends an you say ohh it's over before it begins.
Cheers mate!
Thanks for watching 🥰👍🏽
Enjoying all your travels guys. My other half is like you Bryce he drives like miss daisy and yes Chelsea I to am the lead foot always in a hurry 😄
Cheers for watching Leesa!
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
I never use cruise control....dont know why tho lol
Yeah we don’t use the cruise control either
Hi guys great vids... My tip Live the adventure dont google review the small towns... Toomany unknowns and blow throughs that bother leavingva review so 'bad' joints are often the best.. Go with local knowledge only
Hey mate! Thanks for watching 👍🏽👍🏽
Bryce and Courtney, my wife and I have done the Nullarbor twice now once with one kid and then with two kids, we still love the drive, we even done Broken Hill to the Sunshine Coast in 19 Hrs, only stopping for fuel and food and toilet breaks
Chelsea struggles with the travel days. Not a fan haha
Thanks for watching Gavin :)
Yeah I’m a cruiser not into setting records and a bit of mechanical sympathy👍🏾really enjoy your vids I’m also a month of hitting the road with Ute and van can’t wait😀🍻
Thats the way, no point making the car work any harder than it needs to. Safe travels 👍
Awesome vid guys and can I say, Chelsea, I reckon you have the most perfect teeth I have ever seen, happy travels guys :)
Aww thanks so much 🥰🥰
Thanks for watching!
Great episode guys, enjoy W.A it’s a wonderful state.
Thanks for watching! 👍
Welcome to WA hope you enjoy the state and the warm weather ( even in Late March) I can’t wait to get a caravan to get and a four wheel drive!
I am one for looking up menus and studying yes the menu then when I get their I get confused as they tell you all the specials!
Thanks Louise 🥰
Glad I’m not the only one who studies the menu haha
totally understand the "study the menu" thing and still take an hour at the pub/club to decide thingo lol. my partner is the same hahahha
Haha glad I’m not the only one 😂😂
Loving your utube films..I always study the menu again and again and If their two pubs I go over both menus for ages then you get their and they have specials! Lol I did write a comment but I don’t think I sent send😌
You're just like Chelsea! She does the same!! Thanks for watching 🥰
@@CaravanAdventureAus Glad to know their is normal people alike 😃
i l like the tattoo Chelsea " looks like The Turkish flag ""
I use the GPS to determine my speed - many cars I've had read under the actual speed, the Monterey is spot on. Slower means less fuel use with the caravan tow but I find it hard to sit on 80 in a 100 zone. My partner can go from lead foot to chilled in minutes.
Cheers for watching Benny!
Yeah we often check our speedo against a GPS. 👍🏽👍🏽
Enjoyed this video guys, I only got as far as Ceduna and turned back down the highway and headed home. Ran out of months😂😂enjoy WA and we look forward to more of your humorous entertaining content.🥰
Cheers Ken! When you planning on travelling WA?
🥰👍🏽
@@CaravanAdventureAus mid April we are heading off for about 6 months. Roughly this is our route. TAS to Broken Hill across to Adelaide and up the middle then across to the East coast Rocky. Basically the same route you took coming home at Christmas. Then the West the year after. I’ll watch your trip so I know where to go 😂😂. Love talking to you guys. Love to catch up one day👍👍
@@kenturner6314 oh sounds awesome Ken!
We might still be in WA next year 🤪 who knows haha
Definitely catch up some day for a drink 🍺
Haha Chelsea. Sam and I always check out the menu before we go anywhere!!
It's always good to research and be prepared right!! 😂
@@CaravanAdventureAus oh most definitely.
You guys are the best!
How did you cook up the squid? Love some recipe ideas 💡 enjoy WA
Thank you Tania for watching 🥰👍🏽
We let our friends keep the squid and take them home
Yeah guys I also like to study the menus beforehand
😂👍🏽
I swear by the tvp, easy to use, versatile & light to carry in the van
I was blown away with how good it is! 👍🏽
100% cruiser type 😆 great vid guys
Cheers mate!
that my friends is a red mullet.... extremely good eating fish... nice catch :)
Okay cool! Thanks for the comment 🐠😊
In WA we call those fish goatfish very tasty cheers
Okay cool! Thanks for letting us know about the fish 👍🏽
I remember the tide was at our van door one night when we were at perlubie last year hahah
Freaky hey!
Cool tip with the dehydrated food guys
Thanks 👍🏽🥰
love your Jumper , the long one with the tassels, where did you buy it , i really love it ❤
Hey I got it from a small shop ages ago but you can find them online by searching 'cardigan boho long'. Hope that helps
Same as the S A boarder into WA
Thanks for watching Kevin :)
Haha yes, me too. Like to know. What the meals are like.
👍🏽👍🏽
I cruise at 90 towing - LC200 + 1.7 T camper - because your fuel consumption drops by 20-25%..
Thanks mate for the tip!
👍🏽🍺
Katrina here on my husband's tablet he prefers my iPad.
I use to be lead foot but now I drive like Bryce 🤣,unless over it lol.
Cheers for the comment and thanks for watching 👍🏽
90km/h for me. The Mrs sits on 100km/h. She uses way more fuel, but you can’t tell her…..
Haha women must be led foots then 🤣
Love you guys ❤️
Thank you Celia 🥰
ASK THE LEYLAND BROTHERRRRRRRRAS LOL awesome glad the water didn't ruin ya trip red fish maybe Habitat ?
Little bit of water never hurt anyone! Cheers for watching 👍
Hey might be a naïve thought.. would an additive for the diesel be worthwhile to minimise the water issue?
Eg Fuel Doctor or similar that apparently treat/clean the fuel.
Hey!
Yeah could be something to look into.
Thanks for the message 👍🏽👍🏽
Hi guys, is your caravan an off-road van. Just wondered because we have a 20' pop top, not off road, and wanted to know if we would be able to do beach front camping also.
Hey Nola,
Our caravan isn’t off road and we’re able to take it most places still.
Just drop the tyre pressures and take it easy 👍🏽🥰
Thanks for that.
Yes! I do the same thing with the menu and photos! 🙂Great video as usual guys
Glad I’m not the only one haha
Thanks Guys looking forward to WA
Thanks Kerri for following along! 🥰👍🏽
my wife always looks menu up first and then still undecided when we get there
I totally understand the stress of studying the menu beforehand
😂🙌🏼
First time coming across you guys, great vid.
Bryce you are the Australian John Krasinski for sure.
"Jim the Office"
Haha Bryce loves the office so he’s happy about that compliment.
Lucky you didn’t say Dwight! 😂
The fish may have been a goat fish
Thanks for the comment! 🐠🐠
Great video as usual guys. I'm the lead foot, wife likes to take it easy.
Nice! Thanks for commenting Bill 👍🏽👍🏽
Love the new logo guys 👍
Cheers mate 👍
Thanks guys Love it
Thanks Patrick for watching!
Great video guys, if you can pick up some fuel additive called The Fuel Doctor and put it in your truck as well as the your spare fuel cans it will solve the algae and also help with the desiel to stop smoking, I've used this for years in desiel and petrol cars and my 4x4, always use it every time I fill up, great stuff 😀 cheers 🍺
Thanks Rick!
Appreciate the handy tips. Will have to get some 👍🏽
@@CaravanAdventureAus Yes very much recommend. I added 100km per tank in city driving as well as supper smooth and noticeable power. Cheers
looks like a red mullet !!
Yeah I think it was 👍🏽
Hi, we have been watching your vids for a long time. Really enjoy them, what gear do you use besides a GoPro?
Hey thanks so much for watching and following along 🥰👍🏽
We use a GoPro 9 + DJI Mavic Air 2 drone
Red mullet was your fish, and taste good aswell!
Thanks for the comment 👍🏽🐠
Gorgeous ridgebacks
🥰
red morwong ? definitely not a catfish . cool episode! well done !
led foot. but I like to see my food before I order also !
Thanks mate! Just like Chelsea does too 👍
Thanks for doing the pub research for us. We'll stop in, in a few weeks. Do you recall at all the height of the tide coming right up to your van, please? When we go past it's expected to be 1.8m but not sure if that's too close for comfort. Might stay off the beach.
Hey thanks so much for watching!
I think it was about 2m 🤔 can’t 100% remember sorry.
@@CaravanAdventureAus thanks heaps. Might cross our fingers and hope for the best 🤣
Perlubie is well known for its tides as seen many other videos but you where lucky that the flooding was not worse
We were so lucky, couldn't say the same for a lot of others through 😬
@@CaravanAdventureAus Luck was on your side happy trails
My worst nightmare. You poor guys. Glad it wasn’t worse
Yeah was scary!
It’s just that unknown and something people don’t tell you about Perlubie Beach before you visit ☹️
Thanks for watching
Red Mullet beautiful tasting fish
Cruise on the limit
👍🏽👍🏽
Bryce I bet Chelsea Studied the menu for hrs just for the line and length meal chicken parmi just like my misses
Yep! Chicken schnitzel with gravy 😆
@@CaravanAdventureAus 😆😆
i had a friend years ago who was a coach driver and was picked up and booked at 61mph in the nt the good part was the passengers took the hat around so it cost him nothing so get your spedo checked
The police out there can be voracious, i have crossed many times and always get stopped, particularly whilst on the motorcycle, despite not exceeding the speed limit there. They treat you as if you are guilty until they clear you on their radio. I know of an incident in Norseman when I was living there, where they stopped one of the Pioneers buses which did the crossing then and made everyone on board get off, gather their bags from the locker underneath and stand next to them for inspection. Welcome to WA !!
It definitely was a red fish
Very good observation Stephen! Haha
Still packed we went and had a look 2 days ago
😱
its a goatfish
Thanks for letting us know 👍🏽🐠
Great video and I definitely do the speed limit if I can. Slow pokes in front of me irritate me. 😁
Yes I feel the same (as you would have seen). I just like to sit bang on the limit haha
Red mullet
👍🏽👍🏽
Gday guys, to get better fuel economy you are better of sitting at 90km/h I am in Perth if you guys would like to met up. If you want any tips on places in WA happy to pass some on
Bryce would be getting a lot better fuel economy than me then 😂😂
Okay thanks we will keep that in mind as we get close to Perth
Have you ever met other utube caravan families …ie Trip in a van or the Feel Good Family or others?
We’ve met a few other UA-camrs on the road but none of the ones you’ve listed 🥰
I 100% check the menu first lol
👍🏽😂
No rules regarding fruits and veggies from the NT into SA.
When we went through in December 2021 we had to get rid of some fruit and veggies coming from NT - SA
Nothing wrong with foot falcon
haha, what a coincidence, I had the same compressor and it also shit itself in time of need after only about 20-30 inflations. have an Ironman now. rang 4wd supacentre but hey tried to assure me they a fail proof.
Okay wow that’s a shame.
We had our Kings compressor for 6 years before it randomly failed 😱
Cruising is good, shouldn't it be about safety not about speed.
Absolutely safety is key 🔑
That fish is a red mullet, good eating for next time
Thanks for letting us know 👍🏽🐠
Yep… do the speed limit.
👍🏽👍🏽
Led foot
😂😂 I just like to sit on the limit haha
Looks like an interesting but boring drive...I think I'll fly to Perth.
👍🏽👍🏽
100k's is only 62mph, stay safe :-)
👍🏽👍🏽
Red mullet or Goatfish they call it
Looks like a goat fish
Thanks for letting us know 👍🏽😊
I cruise at 90-95 kms, get the best fuel economy at that speed.
👍🏽
Goat fish
👍🏽👍🏽
I hope you allow for things to happen out of the blue, like the time an emu ran straight into the side of my car with the van on and my window open, as a result we were eyeball to eyeball as it smashed the mirrors off the car and i had to stop with one hand holding the disappearing mirrors while steering with one hand looking for a place to safely pull up. Dont no what happened to emu as i had gone around the corner but door is dented as well.
Oh wow that’s hectic 😱😱
Yeah you never know when a freak accident might happen
Next time, park your truck with the hood in the opposite direction of the water incase you have to get out and leave quickly.❤
Good idea 👍🏽
@@CaravanAdventureAus 🙂😉🤗❤
looks to be a red mullet guys
Oh nice! 🐠🐠 thanks for the comment
how's the triton going?, is it a 2.4L?
The Triton is going well. It’s a 2.5L 👍🏽👍🏽
Was it a kings compressor????
Yeah it was. Had it for 6 years 👍🏽
Cruise control for me - 98 in the car, 90 in the motorhome (and giving passing opportunities for the "Chelsea"s behind me)
😂👍🏽 nice!
So you should get off the road if you can't keep up
You should have mentioned the Free Camp at Kimba IS NOT A FREE CAMP, a donation is required.
And if you can’t walk to the Pub from there, there’s something wrong with you.
Hi thanks for watching!
Yes we walked to the pub once the shuttle didn’t come and gave a donation for staying.
Safe travels to you 👍🏽👍🏽
Speed limit is the speed limit if you don’t do the speed limit other people behind you get upset and that’s when things go wrong
Totally agree Kevin. We’ve been behind our fair share of slow drivers. 😬
When towing though, we expect people to sit slightly under the limit sometimes.
