That was a complete work of art! You really went all out, and that was very entertaining on top of the awesome SSSV history. I felt like I got to go on an entire adventure in the span of 16 minutes :D I'm happy that I got to contribute some music and art to this masterpiece
Such a cool concept for a video! It felt like I went on a journey with you while you tell the story of the journey of space station silicone valley. Must have been a beast to edit, you rock dude!
Yo, that music. I was like "Where did this come from?" Very cool. I didn't know this game I've always held onto and loved was actually so well-received until just now reading reviews. Nice filming/presentation style, kinda surprising such a high quality production for a game I never would have expected would get such!
I type "Silicon valley remake" on the search bar and fell on your video. This game is just so fucking good ! I So many great ideas, nice ost and of course so much fun. Nice video from a french silicon valley lover !
So happy to find this video, SSSV is a game I never see mentioned, not even in N64 groups on Facebook or anything, and yet it has been in my top five games of all time since I bought it around the time of its original release. I love the graphics, level designs, crazy animals, superb variety, unique weirdness, and fantastic sense of humour. That soundtrack is still one of my favourites ever too, even if Stuart Ross did ignore my messages on FB about doing a short interview! 😛 I'd love to see a sequel or something on Steam...
This is quite stellar video! I dig the presentation and the history of the game's development. I too have played this game a long time ago and still thought it's great! It's certainly unique and not many games have that as far as I know. Thank you for bringing this game to the limelight once again!
Great stuff as always - from the high quality camera and editing work to the fun, frenetic tone and informative script. I can’t wait to see more stuff like this from you! Was that a… GLITCH there at the end? 👀
Wait wait wait wait, Silicon Valley was supposed to release before _Banjo-Kazooie?!?!_ You said Banjo redefined 3D platforming, but imagine the world where Silicon Valley gets on the market beforehand. How much changes in the game industry?!? I mean, Banjo probably benefited indirectly from Silicon Valley’s delay, and the overlap between both games’ sense of humour is quite large. Rare probably doesn’t get as big, and Rockstar potentially does more with the Silicon Valley IP, which probably reflects negatively on how many eggs they put in the GTA basket….
I loved Space Station Silicon Valley as a kid. It had some really cool and unique ideas in it. Great video on this underrated gem.
I really enjoyed this, great work pal 😊
this was great. sssv was THE game of my early childhood.
Fantastic video! I always hated how the instruction manual was in black and white, should have been in colour.
