- The Unusual EAS by BlackSkyCraft is one of my favorite pedals that I've tried this year - and that's saying A LOT! I'm currently in the VERY early stages of working on a score for a horror video game, and Unusual EAS has been the perfect tool to get started layering some unsettling sounds!

You're right, this pedal is definitly the one they need for performing a soundtrack of upcoming news : pandemic, War, any type of crises, economical, society... 😁😂
I just hope they will ask Emily to compose the music. The news will be bad but at least the soundtrack will be nice 😀

This deserves making a 5-10 minute looping soundtrack and have it playing, at a low but not that low volume, in the dark at night.

These sounds are so rich and unnerving, this is exactly my kind of thing. I especially liked the moment where you set the reverb's modulation really high and let that be a piece of the melody, it's very old-school horror. All-wet reverb? Yes please, I Iove these foggy clouds of tension. Drowner is still pulling its weight too. Love to see them working in harmony, especially the Microcosm, because it still allowed the Unusual EAS to shine through and not overrun the whole show.

I love the combined effect of those pedals. I love that music is infinite. We only have A through to G and yet we never run out of ways to create something fresh. Keep on creating and experimenting and thank you so much for sharing all of that with us :-)
Scoring a video game! Congratulations. A lot of nice sounds in this video. I've often thought that a lot of the tones/sounds/ effects you conjure up with the pedals is perfect for games, films, tv, multimedia exhibits etc. I went to that immersive Van Gogh exhibit a while back and the music was reminiscent of the stuff you do on these videos.

The bass running through the Drowner could totally make for an epic futuristic city soundtrack with a fast percussion beat on top of it. I have to say I super enjoyed you playing some longer examples!

That is genuinely creepy, but also very musical and beautiful. The modulation is really deep and fantastic, and sounds both terrifying and lovely on the harp…Some stunning arpeggios you are coming up with there. Wow.

@@emilyharpist , I can hear it taking the place of some more conventional things I have but have become a little meh about in the past year. This and that amazing new Chase Bliss Generation Loss Collaboration. I do wish that one had a built in “tape deck” though. It seems kind of fitting.

Emily, the piece at the end of the video is phenomenal. I had to put headphones on to take it all in. Just wish youtube could do a better job of giving us the 3D audio experience of the reverb and crush/shimmer!
I think this pedal is exactly something I'm looking for. It does what normally would be 2-3 pedals to get similar tones, and other than lofi delay I don't currently have a bit crushing pedal. I connected immediately to see about availability. Thank you for introducing it and the sounds in your video. 🙏

I've been playing guitar/bass for many years of my life, have very little experience in effects beyond manipulating on-board things. I admit that you bring a lot of cool information to my perception. I don't know if these effects would also work with guitar or not, but, I like them.

not gonna lie - got the Drowner because of your video. Unusual EAS and the Red Pandas look cool.
This is very XCOM vibes. What I mean when I say that, of course, is that I would still feel like death is around the corner on a 99% shot. Also, it's reminiscent of the original XCOM. Pure terror. Good job!
