    It really has almost no lag if any it comes from the gearbox it’s amazing and even with sporty driving style it uses 10l/100km

      10L? i have a 3.2L CDI W220 and that thing does 9L when driving kind of sporty... now i want that Diesel V8 even sooner!

      Be warned tho
      It has more parts
      Common timing chain issues
      Takes 11l of oil
      Leaks oil out of the backplate
      Parts are more expensive because the engine is a lot less common…
      And you need to drop the front subframe to change the engine mounts that will be shot guaranteed

      Oh and timing belt required the charge air cooler to be removed and for that you need to take at least the fan out and for that you need to drain the coolant
      My suggestion stay with the 320… I’ve had the om613 in the e class before and it wasn’t nearly the headache that thing delivers

      @@danielressel6138 shit, aight seems legit. yea the 3.2L is pretty much enough, i would love the feeling of owning a V8 even tho 200hp is enough for me atm, thanks for the heads up tho

    I owned on of these in the US. Probably the only one. What an amazing car it was.

      @@RetroCarReviews I’m located in Massachusetts. I have lots of documentation about this car I drove it for over 50,000 miles in 4 years I owned it.

      @@siksclass You didn't answer to his question. The 400 CDI was never sold in the USA and cars under 25 years old can't be easily imported, so you having that model in that country is very surprising if not false.

      @@E34Benzinit came from Spain . The original owners son brought with him into the us and went through great challenges doing so. He traded to a dealer I was working at and I bought it from the dealer. Drove it with a smile for many miles all over the Northreast. The car is gone now and was exported. I still drive an S class 👌😁 still smiling

      @o_o-_-8639 Рік тому +1

      Actually the 1.2 have been used also in the vw polo with 75 hp however it wasn’t that efficient and it was just slightly faster then the 1.0 75 hp mpi but more expensive on the buy.
      However mazda with the with the new 3.3D has made the most efficient diesel and that’s very brave in a electrified and less diesel friendly car market
