Btw I have your quick adj kit in my wildcat and Maverick and I checked your settings and they are very close. Within 10-15 fps for me. So thank you for the hard work. Love the quick tune, I bought 2. If you make one for the original Wildcat, let me know and I’ll buy a couple. Thanks
Dan, Thanks for commenting and the kind words, really appreciate it! I have a .22 x 700mm and a .25 x 500 barrel on the way from a couple of kind folks. So, look for those to be filled in on the DOPE tables soon!
Great work. Is it possible for you to explain how to relate your hammer spring settings to the standard power wheel/ adjuster screw.
Watch the video below and let me know if that helps. Long story short.....The power wheel adjusts in 0.50mm increments. The fine adjust screw will adjust in 0.01mm increments but no way to keep track of where you are.

Great work... I'm running the Wildcat MK3 BT 500mm .22 cal with the Wildcat hammer quick tune. You might want to capture if using the SLUG vs PELLET port. I was running SLUG, but wanted to have the ability to switch between 13.43 and 18.13 grain pellets with a sub 20 FPE for the 13.43 and attempting to hit 880 FPS on the 18.13 grain pellets. I'm not quite able to do both... a little inconsistent with the sub 20 FPE (not real bad, but MUCH better when using about 50 bar setting; however, not enough pressure for the 18.13 grain pellets). The 18.13 are running 845 FPE (used to be 885 with the pellet port). I have the standard probe and hammer, running 85 bar currently. I was trying to keep the regulator set on one pressure, but that might be too much to ask. Reason for 20 FPE is to participate in Field Target here in the US.
Thank you for the very detailed message, a lot of good info and really appreciate it! Good thinking on the pellet port vs slug port, forgot about that. All the data on the spread sheet was generated with the slug port. I will put another note on the spreadsheet, about data being generated using the slug port.
I haven't done any testing at the 20 FPE range. I think if you change your hammer to a 2.0mm or a 3.0mm hammer (see "Holy Grail of Hammer Weights" video), you will be able shoot 13.43's @ sub 20 FPE and the 18.13's @ 880 FPS. I would recommend using different reg pressures for each weight as your ES should be much tighter if you do so. I have always found that degassing the rifle is easy so I never minded going back and forth between pressures. Did you purchase just the hybrid tuner or did you purchase the kit with the 2nd reg knob?
Also, FYI.....I just tried a 2.0mm hammer with 14.3grn pellets @ 53 Bar with the slug port, 5.90 on the hybrid adjuster. Had a single digit ES with 20 FPS for downward adjustment, 780 FPS (19FPE). You might have to go with a 1.5mm hammer to run the 13.43's, but, it definitely seems possible to run a single digit ES @ aprox. 50 bar.

@@ShootingWithPhil2023 Thank you for the follow up. I did do my first round of testing with the slug port and 50 bar pressure... ES was very tight... might have been 1 or 2 once settled in. I want to say the adjustment was close to 6... maybe 5.9 as you noted. I only purchased the hybrid tuner and I'm coming to the realization that I will need to adjust the 2nd regulator (but keeping the first unchanged, which is the more awkward one to adjust). So, lesson learned and maybe a takeaway for others to consider including the 2nd regulator adjusting knob to make life a little easier. I appreciate your engineering and manufacturing consideration. A few subtle details, such as matching the angle and plane of the Wildcat to the mounting plate of the hybrid adjuster. Not a functional detail, but aesthetic and appreciated (it's what I'd have done).👍

Phil do you guys fix guns, I cant seem to get my .30 cal dialed in at all, every so often it acts like a squib then I have to rod it. I have your kit installed my front reg is 190 back reg 150, and I have started at 10 and I’ve worked down to 5, either my chrono is not working or its shooting pellets too slow to register, they don’t even penetrate a 3/4 pine board. Something isn’t right.
The back story is that I tried to make a slug gun ordered the slug kit from Utah and the one they sent didn’t work, so I put it back together and it hasn’t worked sense. The Regis used to be set much lower but I couldn’t remember what they were, Help
If you fix guns then I could send it in and you would have access to a 700mm
