The HS adjuster should leave no marks on your WC. In addition the functionality of the HS adjuster is IN NO WAY DIFFERENT THEN THE POWERWHEEL MECHANISM. The power wheel mechanism give you the complete range of adjustment with 2 components (the power wheel and find adjust screw) where as the HS adjuster performs the same function with one component. Not sure what weight graded pellets are. Most of the pellets I have used in the videos have been weight sorted to the nearest 10th of a grain. Even with the sorting, it's still hard to get accurate data because of wind. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Sorry, do you mean the "lowest power" setting? If you have the bottle version with the 89CC plenum you can get to under 20 foot pounds, but you have to use a 2mm hammer instead of the 4mm factory hammer. If you have the non-bottle version you should be able to get even lower then 20 foot pounds with a 2mm hammer. @@ShootingWithPhil2023 hi, sorry for the question I think the right question was "do you know the range of fps between the minimum HS and the max HS using the tune adjuster"? I have about 235 fps between power wheel 1 (686 fps) and 7 (922 fps) using 18.13 gr and I think using the tune HS adjuster should be a wider range or maybe depens of the regulator as well? @@ShootingWithPhil2023 The idea is get the 1000 fps with the HS and see how low can I go for different purpose like 1000 for hunting and lower for indoor shooting or pest control in very small areas and I really love to dont touch the regulator on every situation only the HS adjuster hehe

@@hectormanuelmh So the power wheel has a total of 4mm of adjustment (1/2mm for each step including "adjust" which is actually zero). Quick Tune for the Wildcat and Maverick will give you for full 6.5mm of total adjustment. Total range of FPS will be mostly dependent on reg pressure and barrel length. When I got my Maverick I though I would turn the reg to 130 bar and be able to shoot anywhere from 40 foot pounds to seventy foot pounds (.25 caliber), without changing reg pressures. Well turns out you can do that, but your ES and SD will really suffer because for each pressure there is a balance point for the HS. The high ES and SD's were not acceptable for me so that's why there is a tuning knob for the 2nd reg. Message back if I didn't answer everything. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Haha, just finished. Cool to see your results were similar shooting them pretty hot. Now I’m really curious what my tune down speed is, because they seem like they really tightened up! Guess we’ll see when the paper comes out. New scope cam too. Been tweaking and modifying on that the past two day so I can have less janky videos this weekend.

Thank you for the very detailed message, a lot of good info and really appreciate it! Good thinking on the pellet port vs slug port, forgot about that. All the data on the spread sheet was generated with the slug port. I will put another note on the spreadsheet, about data being generated using the slug port. I haven't done any testing at the 20 FPE range. I think if you change your hammer to a 2.0mm or a 3.0mm hammer (see "Holy Grail of Hammer Weights" video), you will be able shoot 13.43's @ sub 20 FPE and the 18.13's @ 880 FPS. I would recommend using different reg pressures for each weight as your ES should be much tighter if you do so. I have always found that degassing the rifle is easy so I never minded going back and forth between pressures. Did you purchase just the hybrid tuner or did you purchase the kit with the 2nd reg knob?

Also, FYI.....I just tried a 2.0mm hammer with 14.3grn pellets @ 53 Bar with the slug port, 5.90 on the hybrid adjuster. Had a single digit ES with 20 FPS for downward adjustment, 780 FPS (19FPE). You might have to go with a 1.5mm hammer to run the 13.43's, but, it definitely seems possible to run a single digit ES @ aprox. 50 bar. Hope that helps!

@@ShootingWithPhil2023 Thank you for the follow up. I did do my first round of testing with the slug port and 50 bar pressure... ES was very tight... might have been 1 or 2 once settled in. I want to say the adjustment was close to 6... maybe 5.9 as you noted. I only purchased the hybrid tuner and I'm coming to the realization that I will need to adjust the 2nd regulator (but keeping the first unchanged, which is the more awkward one to adjust). So, lesson learned and maybe a takeaway for others to consider including the 2nd regulator adjusting knob to make life a little easier. I appreciate your engineering and manufacturing consideration. A few subtle details, such as matching the angle and plane of the Wildcat to the mounting plate of the hybrid adjuster. Not a functional detail, but aesthetic and appreciated (it's what I'd have done).👍

@AlexTheLi0n yes correct, the quad washer is already in the maverick. Try first without the additional washer, if alignment is good and no leaks, you're done. If bad alignment try with the additional washer.

@@jwate maximum HS should be between 4.0 and 3.5 on the scale (6.0-6.5mm of compression on the spring). Every rifle will be a bit different because of manufacturing tolerances.

@@ShootingWithPhil2023 Thanks for your response however, in the UK we have sub 12 ftlbs and FX has put our 2nd reg on the rear tube of the plenum making it impossible to adjust as far as I can see. If you know of a hack I would love to here it.

@@ashishchoudhary269 Try 8.00 on you adjuster and work up (7.5, 7.0, 6,5, etc.) until you plateau on velocity. You are looking for 965 FPS and then back the adjuster down until you reach 950 FPS. If 130 Bar is faster then 965 FPS, lower your 2nd regulator. If you plateau lower then 965 , you will need to raise your 2nd regulator. Raise your 2nd reg. aprox 3-4 bar at a time for a 10 FPS increase in velocity. I will try to get different dope table done for the different calibers and lengths of barrels, but, that will take some time.
