Nice to see someone who seems so excited and happy about modelling while making a video! It's something not often seen these days.

It seems more about showing off than actual useful information with a lot of videos on model trains. This is good 👍

Putting together a wee layout for my grandson, with the Hornby Highland Rambler kit to start, and this is far and away the best guide to what you do with the extra track packs after that. Good stuff - many thanks!

Thanks for the easy-to-follow video, as someone mentioned, thanks for not doing the opening-the-box stuff, staring at it and talking out nothing. You have made it a pleasure to watch, easy to understand for someone like me, a new train set enthusiast, gathering all the extra packs, its exciting. Thanks a million. 😊😊👍👍🚂

Just goes to show. You only need a simple layout to have fun.
Detailed layouts are nice but the good old fashioned train set is always a winner.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do the video. I purchased The Flying Scotsman train set with expansion pack B and C. The instructions for doing the link power to the inner circle is very poor I was sitting it under the track :-( . One stressed 7 year old and one stressed mum I found your video and within a few minutes I had it up and running. :-) Thank you x

Are you going to replace that at some point and decorate the layout with cork balast and immitation grass and such?

Gosh, the mind is boggling with all of this and our train stopped completely today but i feel much better prepared to tackle the additions of C and D after watching this. My 7 year old grandson has no patience but has absolutely loved trains since the age of 2 with the Brio sets. As I saw someone post earlier in the thread, You should offer track set ups, you could make a fortune! You make it look so easy :). Cork and ballast is the next thing to research, at least I have lot's of time on my hands at the moment as I run a Group Travel Company normally :) Just a quick question if I make a tunnel on the corner of this track on the outer edge will the RailRoad Car Transporter Bogie Wagon - R6423 from Hornby fit through it okay? I love the car transporter but don't want to encourage my grandson to spend hours making a papier mache tunnel if the train won't fit through without the transporter attached. Thanking you kindly, off you watch your other videos now and to subscribe if I can see where to do it. Emma :)

Sort Of Interesting Trains so I got a Thomas starter pack with an oval and bought a point and a straight to add on to it, Thomas runs fine except on the point where he will slow down if you run him slow on it. I’m about to ballast the track so should I get a new point, or is it just Thomas and the point will run fine with larger engines?
