when using Forscan instead of using the "as built" tab if you would instead hit the tab right undereath it that doesnt say "as built" it will take you to a different screen that is way more user friendly. You dont have to look up the codes on a spread sheet anymore. It is soooo much easier and quicker.
Just installed on my 2018 XLT. Watched this video a couple of times while waiting on Amazon to deliver it so I was able to get it done in less than 5 minutes! thanks for the video. Now how much is FORscan and a connector going to cost me? The horn beeping is an issue and I don't want the neighbors to hate me.

Did you have to hold down the button on the last key lock position in order to start? Or do you just press and release? Also, I've got a 2015 F150 XLT Ecoboost and I don't know how to access the computer like you did. What kind of interface are you using for the odb and anything else you can tell me about that part of linking. Ty
I just did mine but heater does not turn on. Had to push the start button once for the heater to work. I bought this for the reason to heat up my car especially during winter. Does your heater or ac turn on with the remote start?
Once you remote start how do you get to driving your truck? Do you still have to insert key turn it over or can you just get in put in drive reverse & go or what??

I don't understand remote start unless you don't need the key in the ign after you remote start. This then would be an alt to push button start.

my 2018 STX starts if I hit "lock" on the key 3 times
just order it with lock unlock lock will not cause horn honk.
