The cut sports level could've been a chase section. Perhaps that Cortex found his way to a football field, and he saw that the football themed players were playing with a power crystal. Now why I think it might've been a chase section. Cortex being Cortex, got in the middle of the game, and caught the crystal. That would lead to all the football themed enemies rushing after him. In the files, there is a janitor how might've had something to do with a obstacle. He could've been a blocker but Cortex ran into him, it would slow him down and would try to hit him with his broom, causing Cortex to take damage. Or perhaps, there could be stands and in them could be people. They could throw food at Cortex which could hurt him. Cortex's escape could be his airship since we know that it is tied to a school bus and it would float off the ground, leading Cortex to safety. If we ever get a remaster, I would LOVE to see this!!
@@CrashFan95 About the Ant Lab level and the Wumpa Fruit being drained, on Cavern Catastrophe, the first Ants you meet, try to steal Wumpa Fruit crates, maybe a leftover?
Thank you my friend! I'm very pleased, you have very well collected a lot of materials about the beta version. Such films are. But yours is unique, the comments are simply amazing, unmatched. I think the audience will be delighted. I do not want to evaluate the film myself, it's not necessary. I'll just tell you an amusing incident. I published in the social network VC two screenshots from "Gone a bit Coco" , similar screenshots are in your movie. Year and a half ago. And I conducted a survey "Where wasmade these photos?." The answers surprised me. Most users suggested that the screenshots are made in the CTTR, the level of "Happily Ever Faster". I immediately decided to check it, and made sure that the users are right, there is a lot of similarity. Perhaps this idea from Twinsanity was implemented in the CTTR, which is quite amusing.
Interesting, really. Happily Ever Faster is pun on the finishing quote in every storybook, Happily Ever After, thus the main theme of the level having a design that is inspired from fairy tales. Gone a Bit Coco somewhat falls in such a category since its main theme and background bear a slight resemblance to fairy tales, with all the cuddly animals, towns adorned with hearts, lollipops, etc. I think this is the reason why both levels can be confused with one another.
It's a shame how many uncut content there is to this game but the one thing that crosses the line for me is when the skunk says he's been going back and forward for 10 YEARS there is nothing wrong with that until you realise crash twinsanity was published in 2004 8 years after the first crash game confirming that the game was supposed to come out in 2006 crash's 10th anniversary as a celebration and it was supposed to feature absolutely everything as a big celebration but it was all cut because the developers were rushing such a shame I really hope this game gets remastered one day
You know what, you do have a very good point. I never really gave a serious thought on what that skunk said because it was obvious that he did it for entertainment purposes. Now that I think about it, the last part of his sentence really doesn't make any sense considering that the first Crash Bandicoot game was released 8 years ago by the time of 2004, which may imply in a vague way that Crash Twinsanity was originally meant to be released in 2006, coinciding with the Series' 10th anniversary. Thanks for bringing that up, dude. Your comment has set an interesting topic of discussion among the community.
The UFO level was be after the Bandicoot Pursuit level, and the tree Nina is climbing is called Uka Uka Tree by the fans, tho I haven't seen anything official about that last one.
We need Activision to take under consideration the letter that Keith Webb sent them about him and couple of the other developers of Crash Twinsanity being interested in a potential remaster.
Twinsanity is the reason why I don't accept the defense that something was rushed. If Twinsanity can lose 70% of its content and still be a timeless masterpiece, then it's no longer an excuse...
I agree with you. Although the same thing cannot possibly be said about, for example, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. However, if a potential remaster of Crash Twinsanity is realized in the future, the game wil undoubtedly reach its unprecedented glory.
About the ant leader, the twins were always going to be the main antagonists and the larger ant is actually just a bigger version of the smaller ants. ua-cam.com/video/TCKOXMoSdhE/v-deo.html In the replies of one of the comments mentions this.
I agree with you, to an extent. I also felt the same prior to playing the game, but when I did I realized that it should not be taken that seriously as the developers had a clear idea to make it more comical compared to its predecessors.
Update the spider mech from the cut snake level actually exists in the new Crash evolution prototype. Buggy but still shows us what it could've been used for.
Hehe, I know, right. Good Cortex is nothing compared to the original. I would have stayed the hell out of his way as well, especially with that creepy smile he has got.
At least Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled brought an unused character Evil Coco as a playable character as Dark Coco (to avoid confusion of Mind over Mutant Evil Coco).
It's funny that you mentioned that because Coco's evil version from Crash: Mind Over Mutant is actually one of her legendary skins that are available in the game. Therefore, it is two birds with one stone.^^
i would looove a remake with all these cut levels . I would play it however a few seem out of place such as the cut space level or the jumpsuit coco level
Man... If one day the original developers of Crash Twinsanity decided to finish this game completely... Man, it will be the best day ever, for me and many other fans!
It is interesting that you say this because the lead concept artist of the game Keith Webb has confirmed that he and a group of ex-developers of Crash Twinsanity have made plans to involve Vicarious Visions in a potential remaster by sending an open letter to Activision. However, as of right now, there is still no answer from the latter.
@@lawd.8354 sucks that no news has come out. someone needs to buy Crash and Spyro from Activision. They clearly dont care about them and are too focused on making Call of Duty which has been shit for the past 6 years
Indeed. But hey, the first three Crash Bandicoot games and Crash Team Racing are being remastered and if this keeps up, I believe the future is bright for Crash Twinsanity as well, since it is the best one in the post-Naughty Dog era and still extremely popular even after 19 years.
CrashFan95 yeah because the n sane trilogy was based off of the level codes of the ps1 trilogy which the developers said they built from scratch using these codes. I think it could be possible to remaster twinsanity and activision could make their own versions of the cut levels, we saw they have a talent for creating their own crash levels with future tense. It would be one of the best things ever if it does happen
Playing as Nina and Mecha Bandicoot was so cool. It would've been cool to play as Coco and as Nina and M.Bandicoot more. I really want this game remade and finished! Edit: Not to mention that playing as Cortex was awesome and playing as Evil Crash would've been amazing Another edit lol: Playing as or at least seeing Good Nina would've have been interesting
Wow, so many edits, but all of them bringing up a good point. I believe the only certain thing is that if the game ever receives a remaster, it would be on the newly-developed Playstation 5.
We all do, dude. Perhaps Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a step further to this desire of ours. The game slightly resembles Crash Twinsanity with its more open levels and unique formula that differentiates from the original trilogy and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex.
Hi can I ask where you got the info that the Ant Leader was the original antagonist instead of the Evil Twins? I can’t seem to find a source on this from any of the developers of the game. Thanks!
Well, the two main sources were Crashmania and the official Crash Bandicoot Wikia. There were others as well, although I can't really remember them right now.
Just think about it. What if Activision makes a game for PS5 with the contents between CTR and Twinsanity? Introduction to Crunch, N.Trance being a villain who creates the first dimensional door which results with Ants invading different dimensions, different masks from different dimensions, Nina, Gasmoxians and all other characters with a better lore explaining story as well as Twinsanity kind of humorous Cortex. What a dream...
Well, as a wise man once said: "You have to fight for your dreams, and your dreams will fight for you." Although at this point, we can only believe that Activision will be smart enough to authorize a remaster of the game, probably for the upcoming PS5, and hope that the selected developers be as creative as possible and take a full advantage of the power of the next generation.
just got done playing Twinsanity. It's one hell of a good game. Fun and challenging at the same time. I think this game is as short as any other xbox/ps2 platforming video games personally but my goodness, it would've been a longer game had they not cut out those content.
That's true. But with the arrival of the PS5, I'm full of hope for a remaster of the game. With the new ray tracing technique which the console possesses, Crash Twinsanity truly has the potential to be the best-looking game so far.
Wait, so what would the ant leader have done to make him the main antagonist over the evil twins? Would the evil twins jusy has been his second in command?
@@CrashFan95 man now I seriously want a remake now. Imagine the ant leader as the final boss with his army of ants and his terrifying henchmen (the evil twins)
They need to remake this game with as much cut content as possible. Especially the Coco and Tenth Dimension levels EDIT: YO, I FUCKING THOUGHT THE AND DUDE WAS A UNIQUE ENEMY, NOT THE ORIGINAL MAIN ANTAGONIST. THAT WOULD'VE BEEN DOPE AS HELL
Ahh, yes, the removed Ant Leader. The original main antagonist in the game. Well, the only thing we can do now is wait patiently for Activision to make another huge announcement.
Call this off topic but I think they are possibly working on a twinsanity remake, since CTR: NT is being developed by beenox of all activison developers, shouldn't Vicarious Vision be working on a CTR remake since they made Nitro kart. But then again they could be co developing the game if I'm wrong. But I swear they might be since it could be in pre producion, right now or early 2018 / late 2018? Just my thoughts. If they aren't at least people get a new crash game.
Well, if we are to believe that Activision indeed have a five-year plan regarding the Crash Bandicoot franchise, then there is a chance that a remake of Crash Twinsanity could be on their list. The game is very popular among the fans and highly desired for an eventual remaster, considering the fact that it wasn't developed to its full potential 15 years ago as this video proves, so we can only hope that Activision will authorize this. As for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, unless Vicarious Visions have their own things to do, I'm sure they will provide Beenox with a little backup.
A different video said that there was supposed to be a crate factory as a level. Not sure how true this is, but it would have easily been my favorite level. Also, I can imagine Oxide being the boss after the space level
Hmm, Crate Factory as a level? I'm not exactly sure what the the author(s) of the video meant by that, but it could be possible that they refered to the Cut Ant Lab level by calling by this name, since this level largely resembles a factory. Still, I don't know. I should check out this video that you speak of to see if there is any further information regarding this level.
Oh, I have seen this video, even put a comment three years ago. However, now that I watched it for a second time I still didn't understand what exactly did the author mean by the "Crate Factory". Actually, he called it "a removed world of the game", although I highly doubt that it would be an entire world/hub/dimension. He didn't mention the Cut Ant Lab level so I'm only presuming that this is what he emphasized on.
Hopefully one day a remake will happen oh if only universal didn't rush it those bastards they should have waited another year and probably would have made a shitload of money
Yes, I guess you could say that their lack of patience cost not only a potential bigger profit, but also their subsidiary. However, this mistake can be rectified with the desperately desired remake of the game.
@@CrashFan95 there’s another reason not only a stupid vevendi universal games But there’s a lot of games were released in near end of 2004 : gta San Andreas, need for speed underground 2 , ratchet and clank 3 , jak 3 , metal gear solid 3 , half life 2 And crash twinsanity released in September but it was completely wrong

Curiously, I felt in the exact same way as you, dude. When I played the game for the first time, I didn't even finish it because of how different and, at times, difficult it was. But after the second attempt, it all changed for me and now I myself as well am so desperate for a remaster. However, there are now rumours of a potential remaster of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. If Activision keep climbing the chronological ladder of the Series, Crash Twinsanity is ought to be next in line. HI there, sorry if I haven't commented in your Previous Videos, but I was trying at all costs to complete any Personal Goal, which means, after that, I was too Mentally Stressed, for try to Comment (sometimes I think carefully about what I am writing), however, I saw your previous video about the Beta Cut Content of Crash Twinsanity, about Nitro Kart, I'm going to see it later, maybe I will finish the game first. Anyway, this Video is really interesting, I mostly focused my attention on the Ants, because with their Design, they seem to come from the Future, however, this is just my opinion. Maybe it's really a shame the Developers have cut many Contents, however, I have some doubts about the fact all these things were going to be handled by the PS2 and/or XBOX.
You do have a point there. Now that I think of it, I'm not entirely sure if the PS2 could have handled everything that was set for the game. But perhaps the developers knew how to deal with this issue considering that all of those levels were created prior to the moment where they were told to rush things up. I mean, after all, if the PS2 handles GTA San Andreas without any problems whatsoever, then maybe the console would have been able to do so with Crash Twinsanity as well.
The game was originally developed under the title Crash Bandicoot: Evolution with a largely different concept and gameplay. The plot involved the Evil Twins and the Ants. They served as the antagonists and were traveling to different planets to steal materials to make their own planet. This storyline was eventually changed due to the fact that it was too similar to the one from the first Ratchet and Clank game. Since the game was scrapped quite far into development, the developers had to begin from a nearly clean slate while the original deadline for the game still remained, causing the game to be rushed and a notable amount of content removed altogether.
Watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/xrxoHzYgSCU/v-deo.html As I said in the first comment! But the video was uploaded three years ago, I also don’t know which program uses to modify the levels of the game. Maybe not CrashEdit.
Hehe, due to the fact that this guy is levitating at will, I'm pretty sure he used either GameShark or CheatEngine to do everything that he did in this video, including playing with Nina in levels where she shouldn't be playable at.
The amount of cut content here not only contemplates not only a remake but a potential sequel to the game as well

That's how nostalgia works. It happens to me as well every time I play Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Uncharted and some other of my favourite video game series.
This game way going to be probably the best crash game in the series
If it turned the way it was supposed to, definitely. There is still a possibility for that, though.

Hopefully there will be an authorization for a potential remaster on the PS5.
Still waiting for crash twisanity remake ;-;
Singing Cortex, i need that!
Yeah, it would have been great, as is the whole performance of Lex Lang.
That is definitely an idea for consideration. If the game ever receives an authorization for a remaster, then we will finally see its true potential.

So true.

I knew there was cut content in this game but wow...literally half the game was cut out.
Pretty much.^^
Gone A Bit Coco would have been a really interesting level.
Yeah, I agree. A mad scientist going into the brain of another one who has completely different aspects and way of thinking.
BTW CONGRATULATIONS!!! with Your 2K Subsribers CrashFan95 My brother! :D

CrashFan95 Your Welcome. :)
This could've been the best Crash game ever if it had all this content
Yeah, it could have been. It is a shame that after over 15 years, we still say that sentence in past tense.
we need a remake with all cut content put in the game
Let's be patient and continuously vocal and it might happen.
Ya 🤩🤠

The UFO level was be after the Bandicoot Pursuit level, and the tree Nina is climbing is called Uka Uka Tree by the fans, tho I haven't seen anything official about that last one.
You are right. But honestly, I really don't care which level is after which, as long we get that desperate remaster of the game.^^
We need to find Rick Sanchez'es portal gun and go to an alt dimension and get the version of twinsanity that had all the cut content in it
We need Activision to take under consideration the letter that Keith Webb sent them about him and couple of the other developers of Crash Twinsanity being interested in a potential remaster.
I bet ya that the music for security insanity was going to be based off the mission impossible theme
Hehe, how convenient that would have been.
I wish lex Lang sang taking a walk through my brains
It's not too late yet. Perhaps if a remaster is on the horizon, nobody to do it better than him.
Nice. There were a few cut levels I didn't know about.
Which ones?
The cut rollerbrawl level, the cut ant lab level, and the cut space level.
About the ant leader, the twins were always going to be the main antagonists and the larger ant is actually just a bigger version of the smaller ants.

hopefully the next crash game will be a twinsanity remake or atleast a open world type of game

Couldn't agree with you more. Let's hope Activision authorize it.
Lowkey the people who brought the new crash game can do a remake and bring these levels in the game
Still, most of these were gimmicky levels.
I'm glad the song was cut, Cortex was already downplayed to a clown, that song would be the final nail in the coffin
I agree with you, to an extent. I also felt the same prior to playing the game, but when I did I realized that it should not be taken that seriously as the developers had a clear idea to make it more comical compared to its predecessors.
10:25 this remand me of crash landed from crash 4
Yes, it is possible that the developers of Crash Landed got their idea from there.
The last two levels predicted the secret rings and Crisis city

Hehe, well-said. It arguably would have been the best DLC ever if that was the case.
Update the spider mech from the cut snake level actually exists in the new Crash evolution prototype. Buggy but still shows us what it could've been used for.
And maybe it can still be used and properly functioning. Only time will tell.

Hehe, I know, right. Good Cortex is nothing compared to the original. I would have stayed the hell out of his way as well, especially with that creepy smile he has got.
This is so interesting so much scraped content
Interesting indeed, but sad at the same time as well.
Perhaps, but it is undeniable that the idea behind these levels is pretty neat.
2:52 these were just presets for workers for CTTR
Hehe, it is possible that Radical Entertainment got inspired for some of their race tracks and elements.
i think about a remaster every day
It is good to keep the thought of it until Activision eventually authorize a remaster of the game, presumably on the PS5.
@@CrashFan95Well... Let's just hope everything goes well!

Hi can I ask where you got the info that the Ant Leader was the original antagonist instead of the Evil Twins? I can’t seem to find a source on this from any of the developers of the game. Thanks!
I did my research by searching and visiting various websites around the Internet.
CrashFan95 Yea from where exactly is what I’m asking because I’ve never heard of that info till now
Well, the two main sources were Crashmania and the official Crash Bandicoot Wikia. There were others as well, although I can't really remember them right now.
Twinsanity can be a different great masterpiece
Im really deceptioned for the no unfinished game
Well, the stupid deadline and the subsequent lack of development are the main reasons as to why the game never fulfilled its true potential.
Well, as a wise man once said: "You have to fight for your dreams, and your dreams will fight for you."
Although at this point, we can only believe that Activision will be smart enough to authorize a remaster of the game, probably for the upcoming PS5, and hope that the selected developers be as creative as possible and take a full advantage of the power of the next generation.
Oh wow I think it would have been cool to have all those other levels in the game itself 🔥I wonder how it gonna be if it gets remade
Well, if they play their cards right, it is going to be a masterpiece.
just got done playing Twinsanity.
I believe The Evil Twins were conceived after the Ant Leader was scrapped as the main antagonist.
@@CrashFan95 man now I seriously want a remake now. Imagine the ant leader as the final boss with his army of ants and his terrifying henchmen (the evil twins)
Now that is an idea I can get fully behind. Let's hope that a remaster of Crash Twinsanity will be at least considered.
They need to remake this game with as much cut content as possible. Especially the Coco and Tenth Dimension levels
EDIT: YO, I FUCKING THOUGHT THE AND DUDE WAS A UNIQUE ENEMY, NOT THE ORIGINAL MAIN ANTAGONIST. THAT WOULD'VE BEEN DOPE AS HELL
Ahh, yes, the removed Ant Leader. The original main antagonist in the game. Well, the only thing we can do now is wait patiently for Activision to make another huge announcement.
I wanted another level with cortex I loved shooting his gun
Well, this and the fact that this is the first time you play as him on foot.
The gun sound was so addicting
Gosh, it’s kinda dark for N.Trance.
Well, unfortunately his fate in the game was never bright anyway.

(It should be Crash Nitro Kart, but all of its tracks and characters are included in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled so I doubt that there is going to be a remaster on it.)
If this game was from Sony like the original trilogy it would have been a much better game with bigger budget and time and had better marketing.
It can still happen.

Evil Coco 😳
I would say that the concept of evil counterparts to the protagonists has always been quite interesting.
WHY IS EVERYTHING IN TWINSANITY CUT OR DELETED?!
Plus they got spanking.
Something I though would never be said in a kids a game
Hence the reason why Crash Twinsanity has the best humour of them all.
I'm just curious do you receive these footage exclusively?
or do you just gather them and put them in a video?
