He's such a great friend and a great person. It's sad how horrible this illness is but we are thankful he has maintained and stayed fairly stable. The illness has definitely advanced but we just stay busy so he has great stuff to look forward to. We need to get over there and visit. He misses all of you so much. He constantly talks about you and how proud he is of you. Thank you for watching and commenting.

It's Hard to believe it's been 6 years but we are grateful. He's very good about following doctors orders which helps but I think he has an angel too. He's defied all odds so far and hopefully continues to. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I am very inspired and hopeful after seeing he is doing better with this disease. I myself have cirrhosis after spiraling out of control with drinking, and at diagnosis just 8 months ago, was told at that time I only had 3 months to live. I also have the genetic compound hemochromatosis as well. Thankfully, I have the support of family to help get me through this. Today, I am feeling stronger as each day passes. When I see he has surpassed 6 years, it gives me hope 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm glad you are doing better than expected and hope that continues for you. Good family and friend support makes a huge difference. It's too much to do without support of those surrounding you. I appreciate you sharing your story with us and hope the best for you. Please feel free to keep in touch. We'd like to know from time to time that you are doing well.

Such a challenging disease! 6 years is great. Forgetting what you have talked about is frustrating for Gary and friends.
We all come with an unknown expiration date, but it's great for Gary to be at 6 years plus.

We never expected he would survive this long so each day is a gift. I think we all take life for granted until we are forced to realize we need to appreciate life. Thank you for watching and commenting.

It’s so wonderful to see Gary doing so well and what a wonderful friendship that you have with him Christine. If I’m ever in a bad way I can only hope that someone like you will be there to advocate for me. Wonderful video and all my best wishes to you, Gary and Joe moving forward.

Thank you so much. It's been a blessing that Gary is still enjoying life. We take for granted that tomorrow will always come until it doesn't. Knowing he is facing this challenge forced us to start living more and working less. Life is very short. Thank you for watching and commenting.

We are so pleased that Gary has defied the odds and continues on 6 years after diagnosis. The origin story of your channel is so cool. You created it with a great purpose and it has grown into something so helpful and informative and entertaining. Thanks for sharing Gary's update with us. Here's to continued health!

He's definitely a miracle who must have an angel protecting him. He's always had a very positive attitude which helps and he's lucky to have a team of doctors that specialize in his and similar illnesses. Keeping busy also keeps his mind off of the negative part. Ironically, I started the channel to create videos for his family but the majority of his family never watch. I never intended on doing a channel for years so I've accidentally created a future career for us. Lol. We really do enjoy the channel and all of our friends here. Thank you for watching and commenting.

    Oh Wow!!!
This is Truly a Wonderful Anniversary!!!🥰
It's Great to hear the fight to keep going forward and keep the positivity!!!
That's Very important in beating these!!!
Sorry to hear about the friends you lost. That's always tough.
My mother-in-law seems to have the beginnings of this and we're very worried because she's not a fighter and has many other health and physical issues as well, so we have to be the rock to do whatever it takes to help her.
We've had a few issues with the facilities she's been in with wrong meds and not really listening to us on what's been working with her. It's so frustrating at times.
When your loved one's are struggling, the whole Family struggles as well. But as long as you do have the support, anything positive is possible.
We Definitely sympathize everything you all are going thru and will be praying for everything to stay positive and hopefully work out very well!!!
    God Bless, Ya'll!!!
    🙏🤙👊

I'm sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. It really does have an impact on the entire family. Gary is not our biological family but my family worries about him like he is. When Joe and I were sick with covid in December, my family made him soup, delivered it to him and checked on him to make sure he was doing alright. That gave me piece of mind because I couldn't function and definitely couldn't be around him. If your mother-in-law's doctor is a concern, seek out a good gastroenterologist. Gary doesn't really see his general doctor anymore. A general doctor doesn't have the knowledge on how to deal with a liver disease. I hope you have good luck with finding a specialist and getting treatment. It took awhile for Gary to stabilize but he's done relatively decent for some time. His positive attitude helps for sure. I hope things go well for your family. Thank you for watching and commenting.
