SUPER MARIO 64 BETA VS OFFICIAL RELEASE - REAL N64

Here´s a small side by side comparison between beta stages and the final release.
I used 3 different beta projects to show the inside castle, the beta penguin and Bowser´s battle, unfortunately those projects are unstable on real hardware and the Bowser´s battle crashed as you can see at the end of the video.
For the official release I didn´t realize I had the antialiasing filter disabled until I was editing the video so sorry for that.
Both versions have been played on real N64 console.

The star and coin (and number) icons on the beta version look Super Mario World esque. In fact the beta looks like a polished 3D super mario world. Looks like the polygons have SMW textures. I assume it was in development in 1994. Or 1993. Must've been mind boggling for back then.

I'd say an average of 8 - 12 depending on wich one you play, there are too many betas to count. (fanmade I mean).

Like a few ones there are just first floor levels and inside each one, some have 1 some have 2 stars. I mean, they actually alternate having among 1 and 3 stars
