Thank you so much, it helped to some degree but I'll work my way round it.
JIT is prone to encounter disruptions due to unpredictable factors beyond the control of production system: suppliers inventory and labor issues, delivery systems, weather/road condition, civic unrest, even banking and credit issues, etc. etc.

In the the video, it is stated that lower stock holding meant a reduction in storage space. I think he meant storage cost
