Jim, a very enjoyable video and instructive, as well. I'm also waiting for J Key and Histogram and hope that REAL layers will be coming at some point. HOWEVER, I note that (even though you're not using Sky Replace, etc.), in the developed image there is a faint bright halo effect around the palm fronds that wasn't there on the initial image. ??Your comments??

As usual, another awesome image post-processing tutorial. For me, Luminar Neo is a plugins, a very powerful one that I use on almost all my edits (Except for panoramas because of Neo restriction on image width). As a result, I lose two things: camera profile (which my camera system is not supported by Skylum anyways) and the kelvin granularity for white balance (which I set in my main program). I didn't find the optics correction that great either. Nonetheless, I concur that all other development tools you demonstrated are awesome (despite I lose the AI piece). Thank you so much for sharing.

Raw files are never sharp and in camera sharpening will be applied to these JPG. So will this picture be sharp enough when you only apply the other essential edits but omitting sharpening?

I think "sharp enough" is a relative description but if you are sending it to print for example you may want to apply some sharpening.

Would be great if all (or most of essential tools) would work on raw data.... may be a critic you can forward to our skylum friends. Till next.
