    With the combination of missiles, drones, and other munitions launched by Iran that also gave them some very important intel on how well the iron dome fairs regarding the type of munition used against it. As you mentioned, the economy of scale here was definitely in Iran's favor depleting some seriously expensive defensive munitions. Let's hope that this gets laid to rest and no further escalation occurs...
    Cheers,

    To many people are focusing on who unsuccessful the attack was at hitting targets & not focusing on the fact that it took billions of dollars to prevent mass casualties & the intentions of such attack. If Israel doesn't respond with overwhelming force Iran not only Wins but they also become more emboldened. It's the same reason crime in Democrat Run Cities is out of control because the Left has removed the consequences but on a much more dangerous level. This also points to the problem with the anti-war movement that acts like all parties involved dont want War. The anti-war movements end up defending the side that wants War & become just a propaganda weapon that tries to force the side that really wants Peace to let its guard down. This is all about testing your opponents resolve & bright now Western Leadership is losing & the consequences of not having resolve will continue to pile up & get worse & worse.

      The attack was “unsuccessful” by design, you really think they send out the slow motion drones with 4-5 hours heads up if they wanted maximum damage and casualties? This was a way of deescalating while securing a domestic win. If Israel goes overwhelming force then Iran will too. It’s a Hollywood pipedream to think Iran doesn’t have advanced weapons and will just get bulldozed.

      Actually Iron Dome was amongst the anti-missile systems used. Those Iranian ballistic missiles do come in a trajectory (hence ballistic) but they as far as I can tell from reports and radar coverage did Not enter the upper limits of the stratosphere. More will come out I’m certain but as of your comment; Iron Done was utilized.

      @MichaelMaier-cj6xt 21 день тому

      It all depends on what type of missiles were used. Iran has dozens of ballistic missiles of different ranges. Most are reverse engineered and knock offs but they produce large amounts of them. However, Iran did use drones and cruise missiles and the the iron dome and Israeli versions of ESSM were used to shoot them down as well as AIM’s from fighters. Bottom line, iron dome was used on the 14th

    • @muki46
      @muki46 21 день тому

      @@MichaelMaier-cj6xt The type of missile doesn't count. It physics. The range and trajectory count. Iron dome was used on the 14th, on Hezbollah fired rockets (as happens daily) which are launched within the 70 km iron domes's coverage.

    • @MichaelMaier-cj6xt
      @MichaelMaier-cj6xt 21 день тому

      Iron dome was also used against the cruise missiles that Iran sent as well as their Barak 8 system, which is very similar to our ESSM. The Israelis used multiple different systems to take out drones, missiles and unguided rockets bits it wasn’t just hezbollah rockets which iron dome was used for. The IDF stated what they used and what on. You can watch the videos online. Unless of course you believe they are lying.

  • @alphaomega154
    @alphaomega154 20 днів тому +1

    the drones are propeller driven drones. they are very slow. 300 knots max theoritical speed i think. the ones that hits target were the cruise missles. and i believe there were actually only a few. i dont think they would waste so much of it since its a lot more expensive to build. the cruise missles should be those low altitude flying types. if not, then they are making it wrong. the ones in the footages were the drones. seeing from the angle of approach. and they are not shot down by missile defense but more likely by tradtional AA. since you barely see any trail of exhaust launching from the ground. you only see the drones being hit.
    or they are using those laser thing to shotdown the drones.
    as for the reason of that retaliation is as a self defense act for the embassy they have that were targetted recently. attacking another country's embassy using your official military can be seen as a direct aggression by the targetted country. therefor why you seeing the "self defense act".

    Hi...your report about the events is not exact. Though the Patriot is part of the Israeli air defense system, its role was little to none on that evening. The "star" of the evening was the Arrow and Arrow 2 systems that intercepted all the incoming but 4-6 ballistic missiles. This system is known to intercept in outer space. What was shown on TV were falling parts of those missiles which in case of danger of hitting civilian or military targets were intercepted by the David's Sling and Iron Dome systems. These 3 systems are the main layers of Air defense, the fourth being the Patriot. No drone or cruise missile reached the Israeli Air Space...all were shot down by American, British, and Israeli Fighters far away from Israel. The main part of Jorday besides defending their air space is to allow Israeli Fighters to hunt in their air space. Nevertheless, I always enjoy following your broadcast.

    This is great but man, you really glossed over a huge chunk of terrible US foreign policy re Iran (and Iraq) and it's interference with it's government vis a vis the Shah in your intro section to this video. There are very clear reasons why we have the relationship with Iran that we do. It's a terrible fascist theocratic government now and oppresses its people and conducts proxy war in the region but our role in creating that situation should be studied and discussed as well, to avoid repeating the mistakes.

    It’s funny how so many people keep talking about 5th Gen aircraft such as F35 when one version of the RC-135(which is based on a 707 airframe and certainly not low observable by itself) can make pretty much any radar including S500 detection and tracking radars see whatever they want them to see; which is often nothing! This bird is a Level 3 Restricted Asset. For those not in the know, well let’s just say it’s special. In fact so special that if you cross warning line without proper clearance, you’ll be shot first and questions might be asked later. When we launched those tomahawks in 2017 into Syria, RC-135’s were flying in Syrian airspace with Russians at the controls of the new systems and they didn’t have a clue.

      Rc135s are cool. But the gulfstreams that are fitted out to look like p8’s are even cooler. I know during a lot of the bombing campaigns Israel was flying their gulfstream. I believe they’re referred to as c37b’s. Hard to find much information about them, but Israel took delivery of theirs in late 2023.

      Incredible isn’t it. Right under everyone’s noses but they think that “stealth” as they call it requires sharp angles and dark absorbing paint, but there is something else to it all that most of us will never know because when you take 707 and G600 airframes and the enemy’s radar still can’t see them; something really cool is going on there.

    Iran’s intent was for these weapons to be intercepted by Israeli and American forces. In fact; Iran was in contact with one, perhaps two NATO countries and told them exactly when the attack would happen. They weren’t trying to destroy anything.
    Pretty-much the only salient detail you got right here was that Iran spent a lot less money on these drones and misdialed than Israel spent on shooting them down.
