Loved this video, it’s always good to know what’s up at IKEA! I liked the blue striped bedding more than the green because I’m so picky when it comes to the right shade of green. It’s a classic case of when you know you know! 😊

I have the Bergpalm duvet cover in king size but mine is a gray stripe. Bought it last year and love it. Classic look that is easy to style off of. Washes well and the material gets softer after washing. Your ideas help me to step out of my comfort zone and dive into more creative ways of styling my home. The wicker chair for 99$ sure is timeless! I bought that in the 90's for my cottage. Maybe 1996? Still have it in my bedroom now in a different house. Still love it.
The stripe in linens that you have recently fell in love with has been around in the charcoal and dark blue in the “Farmhouse” look forever. I love the green, that’s new!
Oh IKEA… love looking around there. When I had 3 little kids, a messy house, a lot of joy and a lot of exhaustion. I would sometimes go to Ikea alone and just look at the lovely room set ups and breathe. 🙏😌

The greenish color is on the underside of the gasket for the glass canisters. The top of the gasket that is visible is white
Ikea is BAE especially if you want subtle, soft lived in materials- linens, cottons, sea grass, jutes. Very affordable. Like their jute furniture and return policies ❤❤❤❤

You can ABSOLUTELY do Royal green and Royal blue together pop in some light grey or mustard-brown on a neutral tan and white base and you have a nice gender neutral leaning masculine color palette. I think you should do both . Use the blanket with a dark green sheet set or decorative pillow.

After watching the video I'm now wanting to run there and shop. I love the glass vase or canister with the optional glass lid. Its a multi purpose piece abd i ove the shape. The white and terracotta pots are gorgeous. The variations of bedding and throw blankets caught my attention. I have my eye on a few. For your nephew I like blue stripe the best and you can play off of it with so many textures, color options, ideas. The green stripe is ok but not my fav. The darker green squared pattern could work if you're aiming for a space he can grow into and perhaps you use more neutrals with that green to avoid it appearing too dark, too muted. The striped duvet covers look like mattress ticking fabric-although the real mattress ticking fabric would’ve been heavier.

Blue for your nephew's room
The blue will age better for your nephew. It could be hard to work with the olive as it's a trending a bit now whereas that blue is timeless.
Unless his mom and dad are wealthy enough to redo his room every 5 years. Just my 10 cents

Just my opinion but when you put the real baskets in your pantry just know that the shedding is everywhere inside the panty and inside the baskets or containers below.
