When you are young and free and don't have kids yet, you should explore when you feel you need a change. Many times you will discover a lot about yourselves and as you say things may change. Do not block yourselves in. Enjoy that spirit of adventure while you can and be thankful that you have each other. I'm 76 and I am so glad I moved around and finally settled in Washington State. It felt like home. I am so glad I do not have regrets for having explored. Now I have so many memories I can look back on and feel happy when I see everything I have done in my life. I honestly did not figure this out in the previous video. I thought you settled into Oregon or possibly a different town n AZ but never imagined you are winging the next couple of months or so. I’m from the Bay Area but lived in Utah for 5 years, it truly is an incredible place. I loved being able to experience all 4 seasons! Wasn’t too fond of getting up extra early to shovel my car out of the snow before work but, there is SO many amazing things to do. As I mentioned in a comment, find friends and family, or even followers, in your travels that would enjoy a room refresh. There used to be a show on HGTV called “Freestyle”. I loved it because they just worked with what they had in the space they came in to rescue. I love a good makeover where it is fresh and new, but some people don’t have the finances. I love going and helping friends and family give new life to their spaces with little to no money.

Best advice I can give is to not rush your life! Homeownership is a form of real commitment. Once you have a home it’s never ending with upkeep and repairs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s wonderful but see it for what it is. Find a community that you jive with and that has your heart, you can’t go wrong.

How fun you went to Strawberry. My husband and I live in Peoria so not too far from Gilbert. We did a day trip to Strawberry but didn’t stay the night. I always thought we would go back because that Inn looked so cute. We totally forgot to see the bridge when we went but we did see that really old school house. I think it’s the oldest in the state. We also went to the Lavender farm there. They had some great homemade products and you can get from their website. I feel your pain about the housing prices. One option is you can rent a home first while you wait and take your time looking for a home to purchase.

How fun you went to Strawberry. My husband and I live in Peoria so not too far from Gilbert. We did a day trip to Strawberry but didn’t stay the night. I always thought we would go back because that Inn looked so cute. We totally forgot to see the bridge when we went but we did see that really old school house. I think it’s the oldest in the state. We also went to the Lavender farm there. They had some great homemade products and you can get from their website. I feel your pain about the housing prices. One option is you can rent a home first while you wait and take your time looking for a home to purchase.
