If you're not familiar with Amazon coupons I'd suggest clicking the chair link above and then when the page loads do a Command/Control F to do a search of the page. Then just type in "Coupon" and see if there is on listed on the page. I do the search function because it's not super noticeable. In my instance the chair was $2,800 but had a $200 coupon, I've also seen the chair just listed at a cheaper price without a coupon so double check when you go to purchase.
Please don't go with this brand especially in Canada. I have to replace parts 4 years later and they quoted $2k CAD and I have to pay taxes and duties for all the spare parts. There is a thread about PCB issues on reddit and how the roller is on even when you turn it off.
Thank you so much for this video, super helpful for a fellow 6'5er who's been having a tough time finding something that fits! I saw the Jupiter XL on sale recently but was scared off by some bad reviews and useless head massage function. With this Kahuna chair, can you please tell me if you think it would be as effective for someone with a longer torso? I'm 6'5 with only a 34" inseam, concerned it wouldn't get high enough on the neck/feel a bit scrunched. Also, does it take energy to keep the leg extension out to the point where it takes away from the massage, or does it stay extended easily? Thank you again for the very helpful video, much appreciated!
Hi Eric, I just got the SM-7300. I was curious if both arm bags supposed to give pressure at the same time? or they are supposed to give pressure alternatively? since I couldn't find documentation on it. Thanks in advance!
I think it’s intentional that it alternates that way you’re not stuck in the chair unable to turn it off at a moments notice. I didn’t see documentation on this either but that’s my guess as to why.
No. When the massage is over it just stops where it is. I have to turn on and off again to get to original position. Again I think it’s a safety feature so if you take a nap you don’t have a pet or baby crawl under the chair and have it fold down on them.
It's been a couple of months. Is it still holding up good for you? Any updates about the performance or is everything as it was when you made the video? Thanks!
Everything is good. I use it everyday. The heat in the lower back seemed to stop working and I’m 99% sure the power connection just got up unplugged but I’ve been too lazy to look.
@Travis I just took a look and that is the issue. In the left hip of the chair is where the power cord connection is for the heat. It became detached. It doesn’t really click in but has a rubber cover that needs to be pulled down. I’m wondering if I didn’t pull that down hard enough. I just plugged it back in and the heats working again. Yah it’s nearly impossible unless you go to some big expo. I’m in Buffalo and the nearest massage chair store was in Toronto but all just one brand so I went more based on reviews.
Hi Eric, thanks for the great video, that is very helpful to learn about this version of Kahuna massage chair! I have a question for you since I am sure you did lots of reading and testing before this came, the question is does 7300S will also be able to accommodate the height of 6’5”?
From my understanding the 7300s is nice for someone who has a wider frame. I’m more lanky. My one buddy has a real wide frame and sat in it and the 7300S would’ve been a better fit. I wear a 42 suit coat size if my memory serves me right. Here’s what I see from Kahuna: “SM-7300S provides are larger seating are with wider shoulder width than most standard chair making this model perfect for bigger builds. Although it can accommodate wider builds SM-7300 is still able to accommodate average body sizes perfectly without the feeling of the chair is too big.” If you do buy through Amazon you can use my link in description (just navigate to 7300s if that’s the route you go) so I can show my wife that I got some money back from the chair 🤣
Hi thanks for the prompt reply! I will buy from Amazon.ca using your link since now I know 7300S will be a wrong choice because neither I or my husband are not wide. I am 5’3”, and he is 6’5”, do you think 7300 will accommodate both of us nicely?
Thanks so much, this is the Amazon.ca link - amzn.to/2RvLtyf if you purchase with my link within 24 hours I'll receive a commission. it's hard to say with certainty but my wife is 5'5" with a narrow build and likes the chair as well. The rollers are more intense for her but it comes with an extra pad you place on the seat to make them less intense. I think having the ability to adjust the width of the rollers is nice as my back is wider than hers. Also if you recall from the video it does an "acupuncture point tracking" at the start of your massage so the rollers will only go up as high as you are tall which is nice for couples with varying heights. I hope it works out great for you.
Not sure if I'm following 100% but what I like for that area is doing the program "Relaxation" it will work it's way up to your neck and it does a side to side thing that works on my neck and shoulder blades. Another thing to consider is do "knead" under manaul and then when it's up by your neck have the remote ready and you can click the position button and then "Partial" that will make it work in the area you're at when you click the button. It will go up and down about 6" or so. Hope that helps. I still use this just about every day and absolutely love it.
They’re motorized as far as going up/down but you manually push the feet out and they kind of push back on your feet. I find at my height it works fine but I have to keep a slight bend in the legs to have my legs fit comfortably.
@@ProBuyersGuides Thanks for the info .. I am 6.3 tall and when I tried Osaki and other models it seems I have to keep pushing to adjust .. once I set myself in relax the spring push my feet up a little .. is it one time push or you have to keep pushing down ? I am also 250 LBS and 6.3 tall
Yoga stretching is awesome. Neck massage is okay. I find on the office person mode the neck massage does well but for some reason on other modes it doesn’t get in there as much as I’d like.

Great video! I'm nearly 6'7". What's your inseam? I'm curious if my 37" inseam and arm length would fit here? I'm also barely 200lbs.
I wear a 36” inseam. Have about 6’9” wingspan but not sure of actual arm length.

two questions. How is the "yoga" stretching feature. and how is the neck massage?

Eric, why this chair over the Titan Pro Jupiter XL Massage Chair?
Money. This one is about 1k cheaper if memory serves me right.
@@ProBuyersGuides you are correct thank you brother
I know this is for a big person, but will a smaller person fit in it just as well? My wife is 5’1 and want to make sure it fits her well too.
Does this chair do stretches?
What about a taller man? I’m looking for a chair for my husband. He’s 6’7
I’m 6’6” and I fit in this chair fine.
Gonna buy one. You still getting link commission? Otherwise I'll go to local Costco in Los Angeles.
Yes I do still get a commission. Thanks for asking!
Do they sell the same model at Costco?
@@ProBuyersGuides not sure. But they do sell same at Wal-Mart for $2,000. But out of stock.
