Doctor, I believe love is a must but obsession is not. I have noticed from my personal experience that those who are obsessed with their appearance tend to spend more time to enhance or maintain their appearance. Some of the times they suffer from severe headaches when using products like hair dye and we know the other side affects of certain powerful cosmetics so they don't actually love their body. Some tend to live alone and their actions cannot cause harm to others but some others tend to rely on others when they are sick after using chemicals on their body and at the same time they ignore the need of others. I think love for body is about acceptance, how we present ourselves through clothing and etc is about positive impression and obsession is about attention. The time spent may not play a major but priority given does when considering the age. Again we can't judge people as long as their actions don't hurt others when seeing from outside they seemed to be doing charity work also but it is a major red flag to consider when working with them as a team or living with them. This sort of awareness may not be jealousy if we are connected to their lives and when we analyze the physiology behind their actions. Doctor I would personally like to marry a girl who drinks and smokes because these are not red flags but the type who are obsessed with their appearance is the most dangerous and they never change.
