- Joining TODAY to talk about hosting the upcoming “Night of Too Many Stars,” Jon Stewart says he was “shocked” when he first heard the accusations of sexual misconduct against Louis C.K., and admits that “comedy is not a great environment for women.” He adds: “It’s another one of those endemic, systemic, complex problems that we all haven’t had the urgency for, and certainly myself included. I hope it changes.”

Jon Stewart: I Was ‘Shocked’ At Sexual Misconduct Accusations Against Louis C.K. | TODAY
The irony of Matt Lauer asking these questions
this video was the first thing I thought of!! hilarity after hilarity....it's almost as if its all prescripted
TRJ2241987 ~ can't write this stuff
Yep. I wonder if he realized that he would also be exposed
Also, Matt was worse than Louis. Matt locked the door -- from his desk, with a button -- so women couldn't flee, and it's probably urban myth that Louis blocked the door.
Where's Funny Bot when you need it?
Matt Lauer: Asking for a friend.
EG W
Ahahaha!! 😂😂😂
Omg 😂😂😂
good one
EG W listen maa I will give you all I got ......I need confidence in myself
Gah!!! Hahaha
And now the interviewer is fired for allegations of sexual harassment as well.
It's contagious.
you cant make this stuff up.. whose next ?
Are you just being sarcastic? Because accusations of sexual misconduct are some of the easiest to make up and successfully destroy even a completely innocent person's life with.
Edin Fifić No it was pretty big news, when that came out.
steven seagal
Very odd hearing Matt Lauer ask the question about sexual misconduct only to get exposed himself weeks later
Frank Zerilli
He was “asking for a friend” 🤣
Wasn't the only time he was exposed.
OHHHHH!!!
@@randyjax09 seven years later i feel this is an underappreciated comment
Oh Matt, this video has so many more layers now...
the real fun will be when the news on Jon Stewart breaks
TRJ2241987 he's a vegan so he has principles which will stop him engaging in this misconduct
HA! That's hilarious.
TRJ2241987 You know this for sure?
AMGwtfBBQsauce He is just a troll. Leave him be.
The irony right now is that Matt Lauer is gone now for the same thing.
LOVE IT
Far worse than louie.
Matt looks pretty guilty here. Wonder what he was thinking as Jon was talking?
It's not Jon Stewart's responsibility to know or do anything about Louis C.K.s behavior.
You sound like such a good friend, "don't know don't care" great philosophy.
You're right it isn't his responsibility, the blame is only on Louis CK. However, if you know this kind of thing is happening and you don't do anything about because it's not your 'responsibility', that says a lot about who you are as a person.
It is their responsibility. You stop evil where you find it and you save those that need saving. Double if you claim to be someone's friend.
yup Jon Stewart actually helped create an environment in which people who brought up the allegations were made to felt ridiculed and ignored. That is his responsibility. He was unaware and did it with the best of intentions, but it's good that he's learning from that, just like we all are - at least I am.
Wrong. It's every man's job to step in and do something about each other's behavior. It's up to all of them. Stand up, hold each other accountable, and speak up on the behalf of the abused. It's absolutely his responsibility.
You can see his disappointment in his eyes
Sadness.
Yeah, because he's not an actor or anything.
lmfao you're naive. they all knew. this story had been around for years.
Bovine ordure. The guy's a comedian and an actor. If you want a good cry, peel some onions! Fake News.
Its really disgusting hoe they are trying to ruin louis just because he busted a nut. Wtf is wrong with people.
Its sad jon has to come here and pretend as if louis is some kind of evil predator when all he did was ask if he could tub one out.
He's so honest and thoughtful. He really reflected on this. Jon's legit and I'll always love him for it, he's not afraid to realize his mistakes because he cares more about the right thing than looking good on camera
What did Louis Ck do exactly?
Jon Stewart actually comes across a decent guy. He doesn’t really seem like someone with a very dark side to him. His only dark side is that he probably forgets to put the lid back on jars.
Doesn't seem like a decent guy here: ua-cam.com/video/yU7PZmjoh4E/v-deo.html
he doesn't "forget," he leaves them off for efficiency because YA NEVER KNOW WHEN YA NEED A PICKLE
E W How does he not seem decent? He’s not the all seeing eye of God. He doesn’t know what louis ck gets up to behind closed doors...
E W uh yeah, he does; he seems like a decent dude who's completely blindsided by a serious allegation against a friend of his. He doesn't even dismiss the allegations or anything, he just says, in essence, "I've known him for a long time and this is the first I've ever heard about anything like this; it doesn't seem in-character based on what I know about him, so I don't feel like I can answer your question without knowing the whole story first."
In other words, he doesn't want to make a statement without the facts. Seems like a decent guy to me.
Or put the toilet seat down. Lol I like him too. 😌
It stuns me that people think all Louis associates knew what he did when people lived next to John Wayne Gacy and even hired him as a clown for their children's parties yet never knew he was a serial killer. People hide this stuff and sometimes they hide it very well.
Exactly. It's easy to look back at things in hindsight and draw "obvious" conclusions, but that is certainly not the case in actuality.
+Telma He heard it and rejected it based on a long history. If you go calling out your long term friends based on accusations from strangers, you won't have friends. Jon was wrong. People make mistakes, and if you think you're perfect you won't have friends either. Why are leftists always think bad people are inhuman? Because they are inhuman and they need proof they are not the only monsters.
They moved in the same circles, it's very likely that he would have heard rumours. And if you hear persistent rumours and fob it off as some woman telling lies, well, you're part of the problem.
Why are rightists always making excuses and "forgiving" their monsters, even electing them to high office? We "leftists" arrest and shun our criminals.
He just explained it to you. What's hard to understand? If someone told YOU that one of your closest friends was a mass murderer, would you NOT say "Whoa! I don't think that's true! I KNOW the guy! He's never shown any signs that he's evil". I didn't want to believe OJ murdered anyone either.
why is everyone mad at jon now? he believed his friend for over 20+ years more than nameless accusers... louis lied to him.
maybe jon could have done more but it's not his fault for being lied to. at least he confronted his friend and asked him.
Jakob Huber he didn't confront him! He didn't ask. He didn't do any of that. He laughed it off as ridiculous and left it at that. Rewatch the video
gabdominates to be fair the interview he is talking about the person who asked him made it sound like it was an interview rumor.
Omg, no one is accusing Jon Stewart of being a sexual predator. Perhaps ambivalent... like so many men AND women, lots of men, have been. If you men are feeling defensive because creeps are being outed... perhaps you should ask yourself WHY that is. Perhaps you could have some self inflection. Women are not in the position to coddle YOUR hurt feelings because you are internalizing what other men have done. Just STOP being ambivalent to it. That’s all.
But he just lied and said he had never heard about the rumors before a year ago.
gabdominates nobody has an obligation to confront anyone.
I wonder how Stewart feels about Matt Lauer's sexual misconduct?
I bet he finds it somewhat humorous that one of the hosts grilling him over his friend's behavior was himself even more guilty of sexual misbehavior.
I'm sure he was shocked.
And Jon Stewart was sitting face to face to someone that was going to be fired for the same kind of offence two weeks later.
Priceless.
Lauer - "Let's leave it at that!" OOPS! Sorry, dude - let's NOT!
Jeff Dinkin very powerful message
Wow the irony. Today Matt Lauer was fired today for sexual misconduct.
TheCowboyKidis :O Seriously... And the Oscar goes to...
Snowball growing... Surely won't be the last person to be exposed.
Jon is a great man who has admitted what most men are too blind or too self-absorbed to admit. He deserves respect for this. I hope as he does - that this changes. That men stop assuming that they're in charge and look to each other to see these actions in their once -thought-friends to stem the flow of this inequality.
You can't say that men are not in charge but at the same time say there is inequality. If we ain't in charge we are equal einstein
@OBazh You obviously have a very strict sense of what "equality" means.
Dan D
Power is the way our genes traits are able to survive. That's why we seek it: it's not an end, but a means for procreation. Men seek power much more than women because it is much more important for us to have power for our genes to survive. Genes of out-of-power-males are very likely to be pruned, while genes of out-of-power-females are still very likely to continue to exist.
No one is debating against the fact that men want power and have power.
The questions you need to ask yourself are: is that necessary, is that a good thing, is that moral. Your instincts are not always great to act upon. You see a shiny gold coin, your instinct would be to grab it, but what are the implications of that? Is it a good thing for men to control all of the power, all of the money?
I hope as everyone is going after men and their abuse of power that we also go after the women that abuse their power (their looks) to soak a man's bank account dry.
Laydie Lie Moral of the story women shouldn't be in the presence of powerful men. They just can't say so.
Some people have more then one face,a sheep with friend and a wolf with woman ,I don't balm Jon for not knowing this ,back in my high school a teacher "touch" a 14 years old girl and all his colleague said he is a quiet .nice man,bc that is how he act with them
You don't balm Jon, but I do. I definitely balm him
Louie is not a predator. He's a pervert and that's it.
He's just growing older. Phil are you an a**hole or do you just play one on the internet?
When I was in 2nd grade I had a female teacher who didn't wear underwear but only a long blue uniform skirt ... one day I got to see her vagina on purpose when she opened up her leg after I was under the classroom desk looking in her direction and after several attempts later she noticed me and it just happened like that... I told my boarding school caretaker nun about it. no long after she got the teacher suspended from teaching my classroom for awhile and had to teach the older classroom students. The point is that Louis needed this... because he was a sick indiviual for that doing something like it .
I'm really sorry you had to be in that environment as a child. You must have been shocked and appalled when you found out. I hope anyone unfortunate to be involved with him, especially the 14 year old he targeted, is in a much better and more healing environment.
Environments where abuse runs rampant tend to all be havens for psychological and social manipulation. Along with being afraid because of power, there's also not wanting to believe your friend would do anything like that, there's laughing and joking in order to keep the 'energy' alive and not lose momentum (see: Hollywood Access, Billy Bush and Trump), there's the victim's ambition of, "I want this more than I want to deal with the trauma, I'm stronger than what they've done to me, I'll seek treatment when I get there" and their resilience to keep going at the cost of seeking justice, there's the intoxicating glamour of being in that "Hollywood exclusive", the possibility of being or associating with the 'elite' social circle and not wanting to rock the boat.
It's complex, and it sounds insane to an outsider, but when you're in that environment, you do get affected by it-not because you 'lost your humanity', but quite the opposite-it's BECAUSE you're human.
well this just got more awkward
Who's stunned now Matt?
i can hear the curb your enthusiasm theme playing when she says "it's a reckoning in our culture" and matt lauer shifts uncomfortably in his chair
I applaud those women for speaking out about CK. Also, props to CK for coming clean and apologizing. Hopefully, this is a wake-up call for him and he gets help so that he can stop hurting others and himself.
He never once said the words I'm sorry or I apologize.
Tom Rebman I think that's kind of splitting hairs. The tone was apologetic, he said he was remorseful and that "I can hardly wrap my head around the scope of hurt I brought on them." As far as public apologies go, it was one of the better ones. Not excusing his actions, of course.
He wrote one of the better apologies on the scale between complete denial and suing the accusers for libel. But if that's our standard for a good apology for explicit sexual harassment, that's sad.
+Tom Rebman
Unless I learn something new, I don't think he owes any apologies. He is a so-so comedian and probably owes the world an apology for being so famous, but other than that, what did he do? OK, if he exposed himself, and some unsuspecting woman was there, he probably should apologize for that - if she left the room. But at least two of the accusations I read could not be true unless they stayed and watched his nastiness. They CHOSE to stay - probably because they hoped he would help their careers - just as he invited them up hoping they would accept his weirdo sexual activities. Did he drug anyone? Did he threaten anyone? Did he in any way shape or form intimate that failure to accede to his desires would, or even might, have any negative consequences? f not, then he is just a barely funny weirdo - not a criminal and not someone who should be castigated by the world.
Tom Rebman You didn't comprehend his apology if you think he intimated he wanted to sue these women for libel. That is absolutely unreasonable. He said he failed as a mentor, a man, and that he regrets what he has done and will now take the time to listen. He also precisely described how he hurt these women: by virtue of using his name and prestige to get them as an audience for his fetishism. The guy came clean, man..
"I don't want to make this like, 'Louis was the only one in the business!' It's not, it's endemic and I imagine you walk through 30 Rock and . . ."
A mere week and a half later, how right you were Mr. Stewart.
And here's Matt Lauer talking about it, when he's just been fired for sexual misconduct himself. What a shitshow! :/
Such a kind and thoughtful guy. Knows he might've been wrong and talks about it openly. Jon is the best.
Colbert should have addressed it like this
I just feel for the man's kids.... i love louis the comic. But again i just hope the man's family doesnt get caught in the storm.
Good point. Less people are commenting on that. They must be having it rough, not just for the shock, but also the words people must say in their faces.
Don Manor His family should be left alone regardless of their Husband's/Father's behavior.
Much the same way that some of Trump's family should have escaped from sjw's low rent attacks.
But it hasn't stopped people attacking a 10/11 year old boy or Trump's wife.
+Patterson CURSE tf are you talking about you Muppet?
Trump's family actively participates and profits from his corruption.
Star Citizen Actually chelseas kid is still a minor so you cant attack the baby.. But its perfectly reasonable to attack chelsea because she is a full grown woman who knowingly participates in all the Clinton b.s
Same reason why its perfectly fine to attack all trumps adult kids who participate in the family scams while barron should be off limits.
Why is this so difficult to understand
"It's endemic, and I imagine if you walk through 30 Rock ..." Prescient, Jon.
Was thinking the very same thing when I heard him say it …
with these types of things coming out so regularly Why have some women not spoken up prior ,apart from stating I thought it might hurt my career What a cop out
You walk through 30 Rock, and you find Matt Lauer...forcing himself on a woman
Matt Lauer asking about Louis CK is hilarious now!!! Where is he now?
Louis CK has nothing on Dan Schneider, the Nickelodean producer.
E IO never heard of the channel "Nickelodean"
What happened?
LeBunneh Hunneh For years there has been allegations of sexual misconduct from Schneider. Ranges from inappropriate touching with current stars to requirements of sexual favors for up-comers to be considered for casting. These allegations all involved actresses below the age of consent. This isn’t unique to the Nick Network. Actors, such as Corey Feldman and Elijah Wood, have spoken out before on pedophilia being accepted and protected among the Hollywood elite. Unfortunately even though respectable people have brought this up before society at large didn’t get behind them and it was brushed under the rug once again. I’d imagine that is incredibly discouraging to all other past and future victims.
Has anyone seen documentary An Open Secret? It names about ten Hollywood pedophiles directly from the victims mouths
i'm just hoping John Oliver is a pervert
Women are fed up with sexual harassment and as a happily divorced man, I'm sick and tired of COMMITMENT HARASSMENT!
Lmfao priceless Matt Lauer is in this segment, shows you how two faced people in media can really be.
Funny how everyone is talking like they never done something horrible they regret. The concept of empathy for someone that has done something wrong does not exist.
Very sad at this point, respect for each others.
Louis Ck asked for consent and when the woman said no he apologized. I don't see the problem. I don't understand why he would lose 30 million dollars over this
When Jon said that sexual harassment was endemic and if you walk through 30 Rock, and then he stopped what he was saying. But, Jon was basically about to say that you could even find that problem in 30 Rock which is the building in which this interview was happening (30 Rockefeller Center here in New York City). I say that because the interviewer that asked him the harassment question (Matt Laur), was later accused off the same thing and fired. Matt worked in 30 Rock. Jon saying that must have made Matt's lip quiver nervously. The Irony !!
2 weeks later and Matt was given a pink slip. Talk about timing.
Well spoken. He strikes me as an intelligent and thoughtful man.
In that video from last year - The questioner asks about "Jen Kirkman's account of Louis' harassment of female comedians" But *Jen Kirkman never referred to Louis by name* . The Gawker article just presumed she was referring to Louis . This is Jen on twitter :" _LITERALLY NO WOMAN EVER CAME TO ME & said she was a victim. It was all backstage comedians whispering that we heard "things" from 5th hand sources_ " . Even Jen Kirkman who experienced Louis misbehaviour did not realize that it was widespread .
And yet Jon Stewart should have had perfect knowledge of what Louis was doing from "5th Hand sources " ?
It's Ironic that even Jen is now being blamed on Twitter for not naming Louis . Even the victim is being blamed for not being an appropriate Victim . But America is an irony free zone these days
It is not just in the entertainment industry it is everywhere the dentist office, Walmart, 7 eleven, factories any work place or church, I bet there is not anyone at their workplace or church or any organization that has not heard rumors about sexual misconduct or sexual assault. What did you do? Did you believe it? If you did believe or think it could be true what did you do go to HR go to the police? Everyone says look at him but I think we all need to look at ourselves and are we doing anything different than all the celebrities that are being put on the hot seat for no knowing or doing anything about it. I the end we are all part of the problem if we do not realize it is not only wrong if your on TV
yeah youre right, dentists are the worst... theyll just fingerbang their costumers right there in the chair... and additionally, the only way to become a dentist, is to blow a orthodontist, thats how they get their license.. crazy right?:)
I think your in your own era of ignorance right now how do you get to any o\f this from my comment enjoy your trip into the intrigue of Sharia law and the CIA I really do not think it has anything to do with this topic as hard as you try to link them. I think your just need to chill and realize Islam does not want you and is not chasing you in your dreams
This is like a historic transition between C.K. and Lauer's misconduct.
Finally a comedian who doesnt just say, he's a my friend and he's really a good guy. I hate your your politics John but I got to give you a pat on the back for saying what needs to be said.
Credit here to you for being able to disagree with Jon's politics while still recognizing his fundamental goodness. While I agree with Jon's politics (mostly), I will endeavor to do the same as you have here when I find myself agreeing with someone in a specific case while finding myself at odds with their politics. Thanks.
Why is everyone disappointed with CK? Have you heard his act? I expected stuff like that from him. And to be honest what he did was really mild imho.
He was being VERY careful with his words.
Yup. Describes it perfectly. He didn't say anything wrong but for some reason I feel disappointed
He always is very careful with his words. It's called being smart.
Exactly. Not that it's his job to fess up to knowing...but it was just doesn't seem right.
Can you blame him in this day and age... You can say you love paprika and be labelled as Pro Hamas
He has to be careful. He could get ripped apart if he says anything other than what this outrage culture wants to hear.
I still don't understand... So you are not supposed to ask?
He didn’t admit to or apologize for *locking the door so the women couldn’t leave.* That’s hardly consensual. Also he didn’t mention that there were more than just those 5 women in the NYT article who accused him, including Jen Kirkman, who first made it widely known.
If there's someone who knows a little something about locking the door while women are in his office, it's Matt Lauer.
And now his office, secret door-locking button and all, has been torn down by NBC, reportedly.
he wasnt forcing them to do anything, they could have left at any time.
After recent the recent news, Lauer's body language here is really unsettling.
What if a woman did the same thing to a guy? How would the public react I wonder?!
Another thing I hate is the guilt by association that is a great contaminant. Dave Becky, Louis's manager, has been forced to cut ties with Louis, but even having done so is the subject of a totally unnecessary and hateful focus, as if merely having something to do with Louis marks him as of the same ilk. Once you start seeing things like that, the exposure of abusers ceases to be the exposure of abusers and becomes a witch hunt.
The IRONY!! in this... Just wow.
After the news of Matt Lauer just broke...how did he just sit here calmly considering the topic??
Denial, most likely.
Or else he was sweating the entire time, wondering when it was his turn.
I notice he isn't contributing much and frankly looks uncomfortable.
Is this interview not before the Matt Lauer news went full-blown public (it was an open secret within 30 Rock).
so how does Jon now feel about the allegations against the man who asked him about the allegations about C.K.Lewis. This is like Last Man Standing
I really dont get why so many people are so quick to dismiss Louie's misdeeds. Just because he's not as bad as Weinstein doesn't make him excusable
One of the things that's really frustrating to me about all this is that, since we've never really tried to address these problems before, we haven't developed any sort of recourse on how to deal with these allegations. If you look at Roy Moore, Harvey Weinstein, Donald Trump, Louis CK, and Al Franken, they all did very different things to very different degrees of awfulness. But right now, the only thing we seem to be able to ask in retribution is whether to fire them or not. Besides the fact that that solution doesn't really do anything to help heal the women affected, it also feels like a black-and-white band-aid for a more nuanced issue. But unfortunately that's the only method we have for addressing it right now.
But it is 100% comparable. At the core this is the same problem - an issue where powerful men coerce mainly women (but also men) into sexual encounters at inappropriate times and inappropriate ways. To say every one of these men deserve the same punishment and recourse is incorrect, but to minimize another's actions because they are not as bad perpetuates the problem. They are comparable because both use the inequality of power to perpetrate their actions.
I agree, they are all comparable. I am not saying some are blameless and others are not, just that recourse currently lacks nuance.
"You're not supposed to sexually harass people."
Matt Lauer's face: >:/
Jon Stewart talking to Matt Lauer about Louis C. K. Wow.
Strange. Sad. Disappointing.
I, too, was shocked and stunned that people in Hollywood would stoop to bad behaviors.
Even if they are closest friend or a family member you live with, knowing someone for years and be clueless to their secrets. It's impossible to know everything about a person, and it's hard when you find out something horrible. he answered the best he could and it looks like it was extremely difficult; he was broken by it.
Matt Lauer turned out to be worse than CK. Not to defend what CK did, but I hope he atones and is back on the stage.
“I think it was endemic” oh hi Matt Lauer
Matt Lauer thinking "When is my turn coming". Well, today was your turn bro.
Heeeey Matt Lauer, what did you think you were doing here? Didn't think you'd get caught yourself eh?
He also interviewed O'Reilly one-on-one after O'Reilly's own scandal. One has to wonder how deep into denial he was about his own misbehaviors... he was either blissfully pretending to not have his own issues or... he was sweating the entire time since this mass-uncovering-of-abuse news era began ~2 months ago, especially while interviewing people like O'Reilly and Stewart-re-C.K.
LOL Look at Stewart's face before he answers the first question 0:16. He's thinking "Matt, buddy! Do you have any idea what's coming down the rail for you?"
I would love to hear Jon's thoughts on Matt!
Good thing we have these talking heads to tell us how we should feel about all this.
Terrible. Thankfully Today would never have anything like that going on, with wholesome hosts and all around good guys like Matt Lauer
Can somebody please explain to me why is it our business what Lois and his consenting partners were doing?!
Holy Sh*T! Jon Stewart is one of the Good Ones!
Heavens, how ironic, no wonder Lauer didn't want to speak about it but how wonderful Jon Stewart is.
1:24 "Its endemic. I imagine you walk through 30 Rock and..."
I wonder if during this Matt Lauer was thinking to himself "ohshitohshitohshit, ok, just relax, no one's going to say anything about me, I'm ok, I'm OK..."
"You walk through 30 rock and..." *changes the subject*. You... what, Jon?
I'm happy we got a honest good man Matt Lauer to interview jon on this topic.
Looking back you can see the look in Matt Lauers eyes, it's almost like he knows his time is coming soon as well.
I love Jon Stewart and at least he answered honestly.
I love Jon Stewart. He’s so likable.
he reminds me of eric clapton if he were american, similar demeanor
Geobbels would be proud of Mr Leibowitz
Yes.
Jon is amazing. I miss the show. And I love him. again he amazing man
Every time Stewart cries, an angel loses his wings
I really hope Jon Stewart is being honest. I literally have more respect for him than anyone else in Hollywood
He’s pretentious
@@nad1ax2 actually knew a bunch of people who worked under him. He is literally the nicest most unpretentious guy they’ve ever met. They ALL talk about him. He would take the time to get to know each person and their story. Would buy sandwiches and would give the shirt off his back for homeless people on the street. Still keeps in contact with firemen In nyc. He’s a really really good guy.
Matt's face is priceless! He was thinking "holy...I am next!
Matt lauer your guilty!!
And imagine you walk through 30 Rock and... 😂😂😂
I'm disappointed in Louie but at least he has the decency to admit what he did and acknowledge how wrong it was and is taking steps to rectify the situation. Unlike some people *cough* gop *cough*
you cant even spell disappointed. nobody is gonna take u seriously. no offense.
Decency? Oh, well
Jay Rock Jinx lol no. There are at least 2 democrats accused of sexual assault right now that I know of.
It's nobody's story to tell but the victim. Leftists, stop conflating everything so all men are demonized.
Whataboutism by john oliver 😑
And Matt Lauer about to be shocked 😂😂😂
It's funny because nobody actually cares about the harrasment or the alleged victims. People just like to watch famous people get totally ruined.
That is the primary attraction here, yes.
It's rubbernecking to look at an accident on the freeway.
I care. I hope they get the justice they deserve.
Is it me or did it look like Jon Stewart was on trial for Louis's actions?
Louis CK :( disappointing, very disappointing...
What he did i dont understand!!!??
But not surprising
Lol. Matt Lauer's face at 1:49 he know's what he's done.
This interview is now suddenly 10 times more awkward...
! million times
😂 “shocked! Shocked to hear there is gambling in this establishment!”
So true! Men trivialize these things. They don’t have a clue what we go through. It’s not just in the entertainment industry.
Dont use a man's supposed misconduct as an excuse to attack all men; aka misandry. Funnily enough it is also the abuse/harrasment of men that is unfortunately trivialised by society as a whole; imagine if the "victims" were men and louis ck were a woman; would there be any outrage. I think not.
Don’t just put all men in one group not all of us r the monsters u think we r
Fdg gothic I'm a guy and you need to seriously cut this out: This is a time of reckoning, a time of change. Not a time to get all defensive. A purge is long overdue. If you've done nothing wrong, then see you on the other side. But this counterattack/ defensive stuff. Fk that.
Last First This goes to show you why men and women shouldn't work together. I personally wouldn't hire a women ever. Since men are more powerful than feeble minded/body women. Men can just overpower them physically and mentally. Women are forever at a disadvantage. Men should not pursue sexually relations with low life women who haven't reached the level of success that they have. Successful strong women who are accomplished and strong enough to give consent involving things sexual in nature, because this is what they want. Not those who are so weak, and intimidated by the captains of industry.
I didn't hear "shocked" anywhere, but I did hear "stunned" twice.
First thing you "could've" done Jon is to NOT dismiss and disparage the student Dan Ackerman who asked you about it POINT BLANK at the University of Chicago last year. You AND David Axelrod owe him an apology for how you treated him last year.
Matt L.'s actions are WAY worse than L.C.K.'s
I respect him for speaking out now, I agree that we cannot assume that he didn't know but we cannot assume that he didn't not know. Although he seems pretty genuine speaking here. If anyone is going to get a hard time, why not Aziz Ansari who point blank said he wouldn't talk about the allegations against Louis C.K clearly indicating he knew before all this came out..
noel smith Or maybe Aziz simply just doesn't want to talk about it because he doesn't want to be falsely accused of knowing when he knew nothing by the ignorant Lynch mobs.
And Matt Lauer just sits there. 😬
You did worse Matt lol
He has to smile inside when they said "let's leave it at that" ☺
