- Xiaomi M365 Pro 2/3 modifications is what I talk about in this video. I have modified my M365 Pro so much since I got it and I can say that the Xiaomi scooters are brilliant for adding upgrades very easily. Parts can easily be removed and assembled again which is what makes this scooter great.

Nice Video.. After installing the v2 on the front of my pro I went on to get the rear suspension made by monorim and all I can say wow ,eventually il change to air shock but for now what a difference it makes. Stay safe🛴

The front suspension adapter is 100% a must buy (if you get the monorim suspension), especially if you get the adjustable spring variant. It stops the mudguard moving with the suspension and hitting the wheel (stopping the wheel and throwing you off) if your suspension bottoms out!

I’ve had xiaomi’s for a few years now and love them especially with flashing it
currently I have modified a i9 pro scooter frame for my son (has rear suspension standard) with Xiaomi controller, battery and throttle etc and it’s going well…. Gets 21 mph which is plenty fast enough for my son and ordering the monorim suspension next month so we can go a little more off road on our treks
I’ve now got a zero 10 myself but without doubt would’ve stuck with xiaomi if I didn’t need the extra size deck and range

I got almost 2000 kms in my Xiaomi from over 1 year commuting. I don't use it for cruising, long trips or off road. I got bigger tires, CFW, bigger brakes, Wild Man bag, cable lock, hook, metal battery cover, reflective stickers. I think that's it. Any more mods just defeats the purpose of it saving money from taking public transport it getting groceries.

Installed monorim back suspension last week on my Pro 2. Best thing I have done since the front monorim suspension, only issue I have is that the rear break light and wires are exposed so I reinstalled the pro 2 rear light and held it in with cable ties for now ordered the old break light for the pro 1 and will reinstall it soon with the extension wire as it comes with a rubbish light that jst goes off when u go over a bump lol. What I would like is rear and front indicator's for the scooter, maybe that and my first point could be two video's for you in the future. Big fan From Glasgow. Take care. Thanks for all the help in your vids. Wish I could post a picture of mine now thanks to your help. P.S Have seen the Winglights on Amazon which look good however they are 59.99 for a pair of indicators. Surely there has to be a cheaper bt jist as good alternative that can also fit on my rear suspension as well.

i have that kind of front suspension but how do you screw the front fender its so loose..
You have the RS adapter for it? If not, tighten the bolt better.

Software changes have made it more difficult to hack the speed. Years ago it was easy. Join a Xiaomi FB group for the latest information.
What does the X lock do and the X lock extender? Would it benefit the pro 2?

How many kilometers do you have on your scooter? Just wanted to ask as I want to upgrade the firmware on xioaflash and really need my scooter to last a very long time as it is the only way for me to go get places
Almost 700km. Make sure you get help when putting CFW on your scooter to make sure everything is correct 🛴

Wow, you have really decked out this baby. But I am looking for turning signal lights easy to install with bluetooth/radio remote so one does not need to open the scooter like a tuna can to install wires !! Do you know of the perfect match for a Pro 2 ?!?

Hi! I did see these battery operated turning signals that slide into the handlebars at the end of the Ninebot Max that I reviewed. Try AliExpress and see what they have ⚡️

Just about I would say. But the 3L is best because you can also fit the charger ⚡️

Just a friendly advice from my point of view(not sure how others). I dont mind the music itself, but I would lower the volume down about 20-25%. Otherwise i end up having my volume turned down for music and gotta put up whenever you speak. Other than that, have a good day :D

You can use dbl sided tape to keep the dashboard in place instead of zip ties. Just saying. Great video as usual

Doublesided tape didn't stick to the silicon for me, not as a good suggestion as it sounds! Maybe I had terrible tape lol

@@jimroadhers I clearly have some cheap tape haha. Mine (TomTom i think) came with no tape/adhesive so bought my own tape. Might try some proper 3m!

Hi Jasper! I was sceptical at first about putting custom firmware on mine but it definitely makes the scooter much more fun! Of course wear safety gear. Get advice from the Xiaomi groups first on which is the best way to do it. Things have changed since I done mine well over a year ago. I’m sure you’ll also do other upgrades at some stage. Suspension I would 100% recommend 🛴

Yes. The yellow spring is for lighter riders, the blue spring which is what i use as I weigh 80kg. The air shock looks sweet though!

I think that scooter is a different setup for the bearings. That suspension/X-lock is only specific for the Xiaomi scooters.

man I need some of these upgrades as iv got the mi 3 and iv upgraded it like mad aha 😅 I'm on the bars at the moment as I'm switching to some MTB bars for the Xiaomi mi 3 and iv got both suspension upgrades aswell iv got the firmware downgrade too so my mi 3 does 25mph on a full charge in sport so not bad for my little at home project 😅 I'm definitely on this!!

@@Movelectrics I'm thinking of getting a suspension because I keep getting flat tires dropping in Pot holes wondering if solid tires Can work with the suspension.
Solids with suspension is a good combination. Remember though, solids can rattle a scooter apart. Mudguards snapping, screws coming loose. The front suspension is very good.
Main cause for flat tyres is low pressure. I have mine around 45psi.

Thanks Pedro. Yes, all compatible. Front suspension Monorim fitting for the bearings might be different at installation but shouldn’t be a major issue. You can join the Monorim FB group for guidance ⚡️
Scooter 3 has different bearing system in the below part, it is embedded in the frame. You can do without the bearing provided by monorim (just using the ring and the spring) but it makes a lot of Backlash. I'm trying to solve it on my Xiaomi scooter 3

Why don’t you mod the motor to get it go faster? And switch to solid tyres to avoid puncture?
Hi! An extra motor won’t really make a difference. You need an external battery plus a reinforced controller. I’m currently looking into things. As far as a solid wheel goes, I don’t like the 8.5inch ones. They are too hard. They can rattle the scooter apart depending on the road surfaces too. I prefer the pneumatic ones at the moment ⚡️

No. You will get better torque but you really need an external battery along with an upgraded controller.
How much do you think you have spent on all the upgrades
Around €200-€250. I like adding my own touch. They really are great scooters because of the mods 🛴

I’m on my 3rd xiaomi m365 pro. The first got wet and corroded battery, second just on start it beeps once and turn off. So I got a 3rd new m365 pro and will attempt to learn how to fix the old one. I bought a expensive battery from Korea $350 that’s still in the old one. I keep people aware of me comming with my Sony airpod blasting some reggae. The bell I got don’t even “bing” it clunks.
Just be careful around batteries ⚡️

Hi great video thanks , question with the front suspension upgrade it says it’s up to 220lbs which is just under 100kg but my replica 365 is max load 120 kg on standard suspension will this up grade still be ok for me as my weight is 16.5 stone cheers, I like to add I bought my granddaughter one I tried it & loved it so I bought one so we could go riding together don’t laff I’m a young 70 year old 😂
It’s hard to say to be honest. You see some people over the limit and have no issues at all. Suspension is quite strong 🛴

Everybody has difficulty needs but definitely if you have a Xiaomi, the suspension and X-lock is brilliant!
I'm only getting 20kph max in S mode on mine, can anyone give me any advice how to get max 25kph or more from it? That would be greatly appreciated.

Does hacking your scooter to go faster damage the battery over time
I’ve never had issues. Of course it drains faster. Join a Xiaomi FB for help if you decide to do it.

Drafted for legislation. We never have issues to be honest. Respect the road, wear the gear and never on footpaths ⚡️
They're illegal to ride around here in the UK but the police generally dont bother as long as your not riding about like an a hole. they've went past me before and not even bothered about me.

why dont you put solid tyres on man no punctures carry less stuff then throw a drink in your bag on the scooter
Hi Joe. I have never had a puncture and solids can rattle components loose over time. Personally, I am happy at the moment 🛴

@@Movelectrics goes real slow and has no range. I'm heavey . May have done damage not sure what to switch out on it..
@@moss1transcendant did you play around with firmware? What’s your tyre pressure? Low pressure reduces speed.

It just recently started to slow down within ten mins of running so it runs at 15 plus kmh from full charge now then within five mins will slow down. Tyre pressure are ok. After a short distance it barely moves on full throttle
@@moss1transcendant definitely should not be happening. Sounds like it’s not holding the voltage.
The only thing you missing is right(or both) mirror/s for safety reasons.
I’ve tried so many mirrors and all have failed to actually do a good job. But I am dropping a video soon about a mirror that is absolutely brilliant ⚡️
