    Greetings from Arizona. I have really been enjoying your videos for both the entertainment and the great info in different topics. The spindle tool one was excellent and I am doing a lot better with it. I do mostly segmented work so just starting to get into solid wood, mostly boxes for now. If you could sometime show how that dust collector thing for you lathe works. Also that sanding disk that doesn't spin, it that holder shop made or did you get it somewhere

      Greeting and welcome to our channel Charlie from across the big pond. Glad you are enjoying watching our videos. We enjoy making them. As for the dust collector, it goes outside into the bag, so I won't be able to demonstrate this. It's from Axminster. The end bit I made up myself (nozzle) from hardware supplies (cheaper than buying the Woodturning shop stuff). The sanding arbours for my Makita Angle drill and sanding discs I make and sell on my website but unfortunately we do not ship outside of the UK. Happy turning. Toodle pip for now. Glenn & Liza

    Thanks for the advice I started watching your videos before I got a lathe,so when I got 1 I started to learn to turn with both hands and it just seemed so natural,so thanks best tip ever.

      You are welcome Christopher. Glad you have found the videos helpful in your woodturning journey so far. It's easier to turn with both hands as a New Starter as you haven't gained bad habits yet. Nice one. Keep up the good work. Happy turning. Toodle pip for now. Glenn & Liza

    Great video. Can I ask how wide a hole do you drill for the wormscrew?

    • @glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308
      @glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308  7 місяців тому +1

      Thanks Mark. Glenn says his RDG Screw chuck comes with 3 screws. He uses the middle one which is the 8mm Screw. He drills a hole using a 7mm drill bit. Hope that helps.

    Liked the way you explained left and right hand turning, I have been turning as a hobby for about 5yrs completely self taught didn’t know about handedness just use whichever I need to get job done 👍🏻

    What is the parting tool you used Glenn? Can't see one on the site? : Edit, never mind, found your back videos on it. :)

    Since I only own carbides, what would be the best way (or best tool) to place the pattern you created in the bottom of the recess?

    Another great video. Thanks. Is there a rule of thumb so to speak for the depth a tenon should be on different sized bowls?
