Modifying a Case FarmAll 75C to Use Skid Steer Attachments on a 3 pt Hitch - Part 1

  • UPDATE 1-6-2022: I don't recommend Titan's 3pt to Quick Tach, after using several quick tach skidsteer attachments I have had them pop off several times. The main issues is the pins that lock the skidsteer attachments to the adapter plate are too short and when pulling attachments (ie Open 4 in 1 bucket used for dragging), the attachments will pull off. Maybe something with longer pins would work...?
    Original:
I really want to use my skid steer attachments on the back of my Case FarmAll 75C utility tractor. I have had this desire to give my tractor a skidsteer mullet (tractor up front, skid steer in the back) ever since I bought it, in particular I really really want to use my 4 in 1 bucket on the tractor. The 4 in 1 bucket is a perfect attachment for the back of the tractor.
The limited range of motion of a 3-point hitch make the 4 in 1 a good fit because it can pick up loads and dump them without needing to fully tilt forward. In addition, the bucket will act as ballast, a carry all, dozer blade, box blade, post puller, tree puller and more.
This modification wasn’t as easy as I had hoped and I still need to make some tweaks. The 3 pt to universal quick tach adapter has some limitations and needs a good range of motion on your hydraulic top link. I had to fabricate an extension to the adapter to help tilt the hitch more towards the back. This is part 1 of a two-part series on upgrading my 75C to handle skid steer attachments.

Looks way more practical than 3pt QH that seems it doesn't always fit old 3pt implements😊

You can solve that release problem by welding a piece of bar stock to the top face the pins go thru. I have seen alot of buckets and other attachments that were popping off. The bar stock gives it more bearing area. Just check the clearance to see how high they can be and still release. Good luck, hope that helps.

@@driftlessinwi ok I will, I just order it. this adapter will stay hooked up to my backhoe, and I will hook and unhook from it using my category 1 quick hitch on my tractor. the lady where I'm order it from said both adapter and cat 1 hitch were compatible with each other. ttyl

Never jus teflon tape on hydraulics its perish awaze jus original sealings fore hydraulics . And why jus a bucket behind a tractor whit a frond loader

Thanks for the tips, I use teflon tape on my hydraulic fittings when they are pipe and don't have an o-ring like JCBs and haven't had any issues. Regarding a bucket on the back, I thought it would be good for a carry all with dump capabilities, and could act like ballast too. Since it is an universal quick tach, I can really put any skidsteer attachment on the back. I usually switch between bale spears and a blade on the front. All that said, there are some shortcomings to having a quick tach on the back of a tractor that I have discovered. I will need to get an update video out with my lessons learned. Thanks!
