I have a similar rear setup on my tractor, minus the quick hitch as things get a bit floppy with all those intermediate connections. I converted all of my 3-point attachments over to SSQA and just left the Worksaver on to serve as the quick hitch. Now every attachment fits/operates on the front as well as the back of the machine. That configuration is also great for hauling to jobs because you can trailer the equipment light and then use the but log of the first tree you remove as ballast. Also, welded in a 2-inch receiver to my Worksaver adapter. Absolutely indispensable!
Great minds think alike. lol I bought a 3 point to quick hitch and quick hitch to 3 point adapters and use my tree shear and tree puller just as you have done. I have a frost bite log grapple but have been wanting to get an EA grapple as well. I should have pulled the trigger on that a couple of years ago before everything went to hell a year and a half ago with potato head.
I really enjoy this but I think you would get a lot more enjoyment building your own grapple and even more enjoying it works right the first time without cutting anything
