Saw him in Invictus, the rugby union film, SA won the Rugby World Cup in 1995, and when he reads Nelson Mandela's favourite poem it is truly unforgettable, as is his whole performance. It's not about the game it's about national unity.
Love Graham Norton . By the way Tim Robbins told the same story about the shawshank redemption on an American chat show. It tanked at the box office because no one could remember its name !
Shawshank Redemption is indeed a great movie. It was out at the same time as Schindler’s List. This may be the reason why it was not given much attention considering that Schindler’s List involves a very sensational subject and big production.
When it comes to dames, initially, Helen Mirren as well as Judy Dench come to mind! As far as sirs are concerned, it'll be Ben Kingsley, Patrick Stewart along with Ian McKellen.
Michael Sheen ( I hope the spelling is correct haha ) has one of THE most beautiful faces I have ever seen. If my lovely mother were alive, she would say 'He has SUCH a nice face.' 😊😊
When Shawshank Redemption first came on my radar, I thought that it was yet another movie about never ending mistreatment and torture. I did NOT want to see it. Some years afterwards, I caught a few glimpses of it. Turned out that the narration absolutely MADE the entire movie. It would have been absolutely nothing without it.
Meryl proved beyond a doubt why she is THE greatest actress ever in her interview with Graham. Her instantaneous reaction to his question about her "not so impressive" auditions when she acted offended and then at the end of the interview relating a story about auditioning for "King Kong" served to highlight her remarkable acting skills. I've watched this interview multiple times and practically roll on the floor laughing at her responses each time.
How on Earth does he get the celeb's to share such stories?? Rhetorical Q somewhat. It's not just pre-show alcohol, it is sitting back and letting them talk. An art (Parkie) that has sadly mostly been lost, we want to hear from them not the Z rate interviewer on many shows.
Why....WHY...is it NOT possible to upload FULL episodes??????????????? They're done, they're over, it's not competing with anyone about anything. So.....WHY?
It's a sad commentary on the intellect of the US citizenry when a fabulous movie based on a novella written by a best selling author doesn't do well because the title is unusual.
I do want to see a UK vs USA of Singers Featuring UK (Chris Martin, Robbie Williams, Ellie Goulding & Sam Smith) USA (Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Cher & Pharrell Williams). & Oscar Winners UK (Eddie Redmayne, Olivia Coleman, Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Kaluuya). USA (Tom Hanks, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr).
Not me. Every time I see this comment on a new GN video I try something different. Like drinking coffee on the hour, every hour starting....now. See you on the next video for the results.
Oh, Maggie, we will so miss you. One of my favourites along with Sir Ian McKellen, who tells a wonderful story about Dame Maggie at the Oscars,
Rest in peace Maggie smith she was a great actress and smart as a tack!!!!
Sharp as a tack. ;)

Graham Norton is such a great host and interviewer - I just love watching him so much 👏🏻🥰‼️
He is my Favorite too…
He doesn’t fawn over the celebrity guests like the american talk show hosts do.
He does manage to get the very most out of his guests. Putting them at ease, and giving them space to tell their stories.
SuperAnnaspanna … So true!
Even if he were not such a great actor, Morgan's voice is such a gift.
I agree.
Saw him in Invictus, the rugby union film, SA won the Rugby World Cup in 1995, and when he reads Nelson Mandela's favourite poem it is truly unforgettable, as is his whole performance. It's not about the game it's about national unity.
He is a great actor and has a great voice!!
What do you mean not a great actor ? One of our great actors !
@@lalithasundaram5310Read the comment again, slowly.
When Morgan Freeman speaks, it ranks right behind the late James Earl Jones.
🕊️❤️🙏
Maggie Smith had such a beautiful smile 💜
The fact he could even be as serious as he was with the audience is impacting. I. Love him and of course Dame Judy Dench
The two Dames, Judy Dench & Maggie Smith, together in a film was pure magic

The way but her voice is even heard ! This is beyond amazing !
Graham Norton is best in making the guest open and express
Dame Maggie Smith great sense of humour never to be forgotten
I remember Morgan Freeman from The Electric Company, with Rita Moreno as well.
Meryl Streep is a great woman. She is so talented and pretty. I love her
Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen: my Holy Trinity, the three actors I would have most liked to meet.
Love Graham Norton .
By the way Tim Robbins told the same story about the shawshank redemption on an American chat show. It tanked at the box office because no one could remember its name !

I want Morgan Freeman to read me a book before bed every night.
I believe there’s an app for that lol
Oh heck yes
I grew up watching Morgan on Electric Company.
Shawshank was briliant
Meryl has such a presence and totally enthralling
Morgan Freeman one of the BEST ACTORS EVER !! ~~ LOVED THIS STINT !! :))
Harrison Ford - you'd sit and watch Graham Norton on UA-cam all day.
The later, great Maggie Smith. I'd love to have seen her and McKellen on the same show. He was a huge fan with loads of anecdotes about her.
{:o:O:}
Shawshank redemption. Beautiful story. 😊
If I had to describe "Shawshank", beautiful isn't in my top 10, just sayin'
Written by Stephen king. Yes, it’s beautiful.
When Shawshank Redemption first came on my radar, I thought that it was yet another movie about never ending mistreatment and torture. I did NOT want to see it.

Shamshart Rebellion was a great film.
😂
Harrison loved Jack he tells a story in another interview nobody recognised jen Lawrence but Harrison remembered Jack.
RIP Ms. Smith. You will be missed.
That “goodness” at 11:18 had me cracking up.
I loved Tea with Mussolini
OMG THE VOICE OVER = AMAZING
“That’s why Alfie did well!“😆
Brilliant, love the Graham Norton narration by Morgan Freeman... Morgan is the best
Judy Drench is proof that we can be cheeky and pretty and funny without plastic surgery

Freeman is still such a handsome man.
Loving Sheen boy fan girling ❤

Judy Dench is up there with Meryl!!!
@boydmajor-stevenson9368 You're right. I agree.
Maggie is a very beautiful person ❤️
Whoever wrote that narration is a genius 😂😂😂😂😂
No mention of As Time Goes By for Judy Dench??? Im appalled! I believe thats how most Americans met her
The best move ever no doubt guys
Maggieeeeeee 😭
RIP 🪦 MAGGIE!!
We know the results, but a decent poll would be this: who would you rather be taught by: Jean Brodie or Minerva McGonagall?
Thanks.
Maggie smith is a legend
Maggie was so wonderful rip

QE didn't hate Shakespeare. Nonsense. This Sir has mist a lot of humor and jokes :D
Sorry, but Judy didn’t deserve an Oscar for eight minutes of film..its an insult to Glenn Close and Sigourney Weaver..Jusy was just ok nothing g great
Who else is living in the never ending loop of The Graham Norton show 👀

✋ I’m getting a lot of giggles out of these compilations!
Harrison Ford is a movie star not an ACTOR
Harrison Ford may be popular, but NOT a legend whereas Morgan Freeman is a legend, Dame Maggie Smith is a legend.
It depends on your definition of a legend.
@@seattlewa8500 ... as previously stated
Harrison Ford is a legend in my opinion. What’s your reasoning for why not?
@@zackarydecicco3919 Good for you. I already gave my opinion
@@AidaJof I know you did. Just asking why you think that. Is that a bad thing?
the guy with Maggie..is invading her personal space..how uncomfortable
Over the lifetime of his career Harrison Ford's movies have made 6 billion dollars? Elon Musk makes that in a month.
I wasn't aware that Elon acts in movies ?
