I agree. I was born in, and grew up in Scotland . Then I moved to Germany when I was 40 years old. What I noticed was that I laughed almost constantly in Scotland. I love the way that we Scots react to negative situations differently than many other cultures. It's definitely a complement when someone says your accent is funny and makes them smile, or feel happy.
Enjoyed the reaction man, glad you're watching more Kevin Bridges! He just recently uploaded a few clips of a newer standup on his own channel, is there any chance you could try one of those in the future?
made me laugh when he said "is 5am too earlt to leave" because I did a runner from a family get-together at 5am or earler - except we were staying in a 13th century castle and I'd been sleeping in one of the turrests (Caverswall castle) - I'd had enough and left a note that I was going home, then shut the massive door behind me ... not realising they locked the gate to the bridge over the moat ... I was stuck in no-man's land - couldn;t get back in without making a racket to wake everybody up - freezing cold winter, pitch black, no street lights, this being in the countryside - in desperation I manouvered some bins to climb over the wall with the moat beneath me (a dry moat, not in use but aVERY long drop so a bit scary) ... I made it though - then realised just how hard it is trying to find your way back to civilization in total darkness, with my arms outstreched in case I walked into anything - eventually a security light came on and I realised I was walking up someone's drive but at least I got my bearings enough to find my way back to my car parked a mile away. It always amused me wondering if anyone caught me on CCTV WALKING AWAY FROM A CASTLE WITH MY ARMS OUSTRETCHED LIKE FRANKENSTEIN - oops - shift key stuck. They would think they'd captured a ghost on CCTV. You might gather I'm not keen on family get-togethers.
😂 "If you want to experience a different culture don't go abroad,go next door."
When I tell you I’ve been looking for a single reaction to this for months...
He is very funny I am surprised more people haven't watched it
Haha agreed, brilliant reaction,,, one of my faourite bits of his and zero reactions!
This is my favourite bit of his stand up. I never went to a sleepover as a kid, but i know that is exactly the way i would have reacted.
Sometimes it works the other way and you don't want to go home
This bit is so relatable, it was exactly how sleepovers went.
Dont be offended by saying, its funny how he talks, lol, the Scottish accent is funny. Its a compliment. Trust me. 😅
YIP 💯🏴🤣
