One of the guitarists in Rodney's band was played by actor David Thewlis. This was his television debut. He played King Einon in Dragonheart, and is known all over the world for his portrayal of Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter films. I was wondering if you have heard of him?
His performance in Naked was scary (good). Naked was pretty much the precursor to the US film American Psycho. It's just that it focuses more on the homeless guy and his story, with a bit on the 'rich/arrogant psycho' guy.
This is another episode that shows how versatile and creative the writer and John Sullivan really was, It takes him a scene or two to explain what the basic plot is and its enough, you just knew Del would try to make money out of it somehow.
Mental Mickley is Daniel peacock, good actor, done loads of stuff, now has found his vocation in life and he's very happy working in a nursing home in Hastings East sussex UK. Fair play to him. You should also watch THE SUPERGRASS (comic strip presents) ,in that aswell.
After you complete the show watch the story of only fools and horses it tells you the behind the scenes story and the band on top of the pops was real and the audience though they were a proper music band
@@TheReactingMan Well, the 2015 Del Boy autobiography "He Who Dares" and the 2016 book "The Peckham Archives" would both reveal A Bunch of Wallies' popularity quickly faded after their one hit "Boys Will Be Boys" and their only appearance on Top of the Pops, due to Mental Mickey beating up the replacement drummer, Eric, for telling him what to do.

No I haven't
I don't watch a lot of movies or tv shows
but that seems to be changing
David Thewlis also played Ronnie and Reggie Kray's business manager in the movie 'Legend'. I was one of the movie extras in it.

We never see or hear of this band again, so I guess they don't have any more hits.
Too bad Mental Mickey could have been a fun character
