When you said, "you better say your prayers, boy!" It reminded me of a childhood memory where we were riding up a gondola up the side of a mountain. My sister, who is always worrying about something, said, "what if it breaks and we all die?" My mom calmly patted her leg and said, "well, then we'd at least die as a family." That's a memory we all laugh about to this die. Anyway, thanks for another awesome video.
Thank you, Steve! Such a beautiful place. The creek, the rocks and the variety of cactus flowers, amazing. You have a beautiful family, too. Such joy being together. Can't beat that.
is absolutely captivating! The sense of adventure and family bonding you captured in the desert landscape is truly inspiring. Your enthusiasm for exploring new places and enjoying outdoor cooking with the Firebox stove is wonderful to see. Keep up the fantastic work, and continue sharing your amazing journeys that bring joy and inspiration to many. I am Floating Village Life
On my recent motorcycle camping trip I just used your technique for cinnamon rolls with the stone and pans on my Firebox G2. Turned out perfect top and bottom! Thanks for sharing all the various ways to cook. I’m loving all my Firebox products.
That's so awesome to hear it turned out good! It really is a great technique and they taste so delicious. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Firebox gear. Have fun out there and thanks for your support my friend!
That location is incredible! Wow! Such a wonderful trip. There's so much fun and joy in this video with you and your family. Awesome memories being made. Kind of a fun thought, but billions of years went into making those little moments possible. I'm glad you were there with your loved ones to take it all in and cherish it. Thanks for putting in the work and time to share this with everyone. Amazing video! Cheers!
Thanks Shaun! I like your thoughtful perspective! It's impossible for us to imagine The incredible amount of time, so many cycles, forces both great and small slowly forming what it is today. It's very easy to take it for granted.
I look so forward to when your whole family goes camping❣️🥰Your boy Luke is growing up so fast!! I enjoy so much his “boyness”❣️Reminds me of my two “ boys”- now 47 and 50😳!!! We camped as a family in the Sierras for 23 years; mostly at Yosemite, tent camping 🏕️♥️❣️Such a very beautiful camping place-Love it so much🥰❣️I never get tired of “ Coffee Time” & the Crowing Roster to start each day🤗
Well thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy the family camping trips. We truly enjoy our time together. Luke it's so much fun, such a character and a bright boy. Camping with your sons in the Sierras would be amazingly fun and very memorable. That's awesome you guys did that. Coffee time just can't be beat in nature. Gotta love the rooster. Take care my friend and thanks for the comment.
Thank you thank you Steve for making this video for us! What a lucky guy you are to have an awesome family and sn amazing spot to take them camping! Thanks for taking us along. Cheers from Canada
Another fine family adventure in pristine western landscape. You and your family are so blessed for having these experiences. An inspiration for us all. Thanks for sharing this episode. It was awesome. Ciao
Thank you Steve . It is so wonderful watching you and your family relaxing. I have to say I was waiting to see a snake lol 😅 And I just didn’t wait long enough in the video
What a gorgeous spot and a beautiful family, camping with great gear. I used my Freestyle last weekend in the fire pit 8 configuration as well! Bless you Steve. 🙏
I love your videos! Thanks for sharing. My favorite part of this one was when you and Luke were eating the cinnamon rolls and Maggie was so patient, even though it was hard for her. She almost got a bite off your fork. 🙂
I enjoyed joining you and your family on this premiere, my friend. In the live chat, I commented about the Freestyle Stove budget "hack" for using Walmart skewers as the "firesticks". Just found them- $2 for a 4 pack of nearly 14" long stainless steel skewers. They rise/sit on the stove a bit higher than the standard firestick, but fit in the slots perfectly. They make for a great extension on the stove edge when you want to keep food items warm outside of the fire zone👍
Steve, I think this has to be one of my favorite videos of yours. Wish I would have had a spouse that loved camping like me to share with our children. Now it’s my time to share this with my granddaughter. How do you find such incredible places? Do you realize how blessed you are in so many ways? Thanks for sharing!!
Yes I am very grateful for my beautiful family and the beautiful wild environments in which we enjoy each other's company. I spend time going down less traveled roads and also sometime in ranger stations talking to those who spend the most time back in while places.
Great watch Steve! Great to see Junie getting along with Maddie. Beautiful spot for sure! Utah really has some neat areas to trip into it seems. Thank you so much for this and you all have a great summer! NQU
Hi Steve!! I absolutely love your work, channel and content!! Love all of your firebox products!!❤❤❤❤👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I’m really enjoying the 5-way and the Charlie box!! Outstanding performance!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👊🏿👍🏿
Camping days with the fam! Always makes me appreciate the different types of terrains out there that I haven't camped! Great trip Steve! Glad to see everyone happy and healthy mate!✌🤙🙏
Three or four days is pushing it. I bring most items frozen then keep them insulated in my sleeping gear as well as a bubble wrap homemade cooler. It's all about using the insulation you're already bringing and then keeping it all in the shade as much as possible. Also bring stuff less likely to go bad such as farm fresh eggs. Foods high in fat or sugar will naturally keep longer. Example, Cream will last much longer than milk.
Great to see the family. The kids have grown. I'd like to take my wife on such an adventure...tough call though. Would any of those deeper pools hold fish? Be safe.
i am pretty new to the channel :) like watching you guys from like 1 year but very fast become like my own family :) thanks for the good videos , walking exploring everything is amazing :) i used to hate Usa for not big reassons ,but since watching your channel my mind is change its beautiful country :) stay healthy
Hey Steve, You chose a beautiful place to stay and it really appears you kids are taking it in. I appreciate the video. Are there trout in the streams you guys are camping at? I'm sure you didn't bring a rod to catch dinner some afternoon. Anyway, thanks buddy for this great family outing and showing how beautiful your State is.
It's all about taking the time to go down those roads less traveled. You simply must spend some time exploring otherwise you just end up where everyone else is. Also spend some time talking to the rangers in the ranger station and looking at maps. They will have good information but there will also be other people there who may be able to help point you in the right direction.
Good observation, I wish I had sandals on. Ever since I broke my foot sandals have been less of an option. Have to have orthotics under my feet at least for that time being.
@@fireboxstove Yes, but where in Utah? I live in Arizona and often go up there for solo backpack trips. That place isn't familiar to me, but looks nice. Not nessicarily that particular camp spot, just the drainage in general.
Mr Steve! UA-cam graced me with the community tab feature today and I cordially invite you to view and comment on my pizza shop and outdoor shot with my doggo! All I'll need now is a 24 inch Billy Can to cook that pizza in on the Firebox Stove, lol 👨🍳🍕🗑Cheers, my friend!
My all time favorite channel on UA-cam! I feel like a kid waiting for Saturday morning cartoons to start!! Thanks Steve and the rest of team firebox!

Hi Steve, as a fellow Utahn do you have any tips on finding great places to camp like these? It has always been a struggle of mine

You're messing with us. Everyone has sandals on the hike except the one who made sandal hiking famous. But they did make a cameo at camp.

Can you imagine the TORRENTS OF RAIN coming off that rock and you in the alcove caves...you'd be washed clean out of state
