The OP in the 2nd story is actually doing MORE damage to his family by staying with a woman (WHO IS HIS AFFAIR PARTNER) who has the nerve to confront his wife about things that are none of her business. She's lucky she didn't get slapped.
OMG that last story. It had me crying in my car, but I’m glad you included it. It was beautiful in a very sad way, and your speech at the end was so wonderful. This show is funny and shocking and wild, but at the end of the day, it’s the heart at the center of this show that keeps me coming back. Thank you.
Story 1: it’s a rare opportunity to live somewhere rent free, it gives you a free step up in life allowing you to focus on and save for your future. The bf clearing is willing to sacrifice that because 1 he doesn’t trust you enough to only have your name on the apartment, and 2 his ego is getting in the way. I’d be cautious he’ll let that ruin or set back any future success.
My parents promised me many things and never kept them. I have trouble socially now accepting someones word. Add in bad relationships. Im a mess. Pls dont make promises you cant keep to kids.
Story 5 I feel like he’s a actual good person he didn’t want pity sex or think it was her job he was trying to make it to where she wanted to but she didn’t and she just didn’t care his needs or communicate why she didn’t want to. She didn’t care to try to go on dates or be romantic not till it was too late. Once you bring kids in to your drama you are already a piece of crap. You are messy and want to blame his gf you are a piece of crap. He sounds like a good dad since his kids are happy. I don’t know why they are so messy and rude.
Dec. 11th will mark the ninth anniversary of losing my soulmate. He decided to live his life to the fullest, and also kept his illness from me (cancer) until a week before he died. I understand his reasons for doing so ( I had lost my Dad and five other close relatives in just over a year). Our daughter got married in the hospital room so her Daddy could see her get married. He was actually her stepdad, but he was their Daddy. He has gone into the hospital on a Wednesday, told me he had cancer the next day, and passed away the following Thursday. Two days before he passed, he slipped into a coma, and never woke up. I was laying with him in the hospital bed and I heard his last heartbeat. In a way it was comforting. ( I can’t really explain it). My son finished college, got married and blessed me with a granddaughter several months ago. Unfortunately my daughter’s marriage didn’t last, but her boyfriend blessed me with a grandson 2 1/2 years ago. I know my husband is watching over us, and I can’t wait for the day to be reunited with him.
No one knows how painful cancer is. No one talks about it. It hurts so dang bad. So those who have never had it, your opinion doesnt matter. I am 22 months into battling cancer and every single day I have to talk myself into continuing the fight. You will never know the struggle until you are there. The “treatment” Is as awful as the cancer. I cannot agree with the live your life advice enough. Its the one thing I am doing. We say yes more, we chose to laugh, we chose to smile.
Story 5. He needs to be careful. The ex is the type to start talking badly to the kids about the father. I know they are young but the more the lets them have an open communication relationship the better. So there is a chance her words will never get to them
If he was that manly, he would pay all of the rent for the new place if he’s asking her to move, rather than asking her to come out of pocket just to be with him.
I dunno about the second guy giving it another shot. The wife has to be devastated, and deserves better for sure. Who's to say he might not do something similar next time her gets bored
First story: how does someone leave a single apt, much less inherit one? Something sounds off with that, because you can inherit an apt complex but she states she doesn't want to be a landlord & that she'd have to leave her apt to lease it. NTA for that one but i dont think we got the complete story
You were a bit harsh on Story 7. I imagine the reason she was in 1st class during those trips is because of the younger kids being up there and him doing his best to be useless.
Story 5 sounds like he’s leaving some stuff out. You mean your wife is saying she’s tired from taking care of the little kids aallllll day and you don’t think to help more or give her a day off. Of course your new girl is fun and bubbly. She has no responsibilities. Everyone is a A-hole here except the girlfriend and the kids. He sounds childish, ex-wife is bitter, moms are just traditionalist. He now has the life and the time off of kids that he never gave her.
Story 6... Woooooow. I have a completely different take on this. This guy sounds like a prick. thisnpoor guy? Part time parenting?? Doesnt make him less of a parent? Jfc i dont know where to start.
