Mads Mikkelsen and Anders Thomas Jensen on Riders of Justice, Indiana Jones 5, & Fantastic Beasts 3

From director Anders Thomas Jensen, one of Denmark’s most renowned filmmakers, the Danish dark action dramedy Riders of Justice follows Markus (Mads Mikkelsen), a man forced to return home from a recent deployment to care for his teenage daughter (Andrea Heick Gadeberg) after his wife is killed in a tragic train accident. When a survivor of the wreck shows up claiming foul play, Markus decides to find those responsible for turning his wife into a random casualty.
During this interview with Collider, actor Mads Mikkelsen and filmmaker Anders Thomas Jensen talked about what they like about working together, why humor is important, their desire to collaborate again, and finding who this character would be. Mikkelsen also talked about why he wanted to be a part of the next Indiana Jones film, and taking on the role of Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3, while Jensen talked about where is story ideas come from.

I've watched all Anders Thomas' movies with Mads and I absolutely love every one of it. My most favorite one is Adam's Apple, with Flickering Lights in close second. Truly briliant story teller meets with an amazing actor. I very much adore these two.

I can agree with every word and will just add that some should give them a lot of money so they can shoot as many films as they can make when they have the right idea for the next. I would love Anders to be able to write a huge sci fi movie or international political movie with Mads. I bet he would reinvent the genre in the most positive quirky way.

Absolutely brilliant! Contemporary films like this continue to renew my optimism and faith in modern Cinema. Hoping more and more people will see this, especially in the US, and possibly could be the movie that opens a door to international films for those who've yet to make that adjustment.
