Really great information here. Thank you for sharing.
This is fantastic, really lucky to have an acoustic engineer teaching us!
Really awesome in depth explanations and useful pictures/ diagrams to highlight the information. Great! thank you Shure!
This is really great info!! Helpful
Super educational. Thank you very much for this info!!
Great video, Yuri! Thanks.
Great video! Very helpful cause i go from recording loud drumsets to whisper quiet sound healing instruments. Now I know one type isn't gonna cut it if I want the best quality
A very interesting and informative discussion, unfortunately marred by the choice of recording location and (most ironically) the apparent use of a webcam microphone on one end. At least I hope that's what was used, and not one of yours! 😬
Was that a toilet flushing @ 7:58? I wound up watching most of the video twice, because I kept being distracted from the topic by identifying all of the ambient noises in the background.
Great information, thanks a lot. I consider a small diaphragm Mic for producing an audiobook. I was yesterday in a studio and gave it a try. It sounded very good to my ears.
Somehow, a big diaphragm seems to be more difficult to handle. What's your take on using small diaphragm for dialogue##ß
What is an sm58 ? Medium ?
