This is some real European larp. Making a deal to end all wars but the last piece of the puzzle refuses to go down without a fight only to complicate the deal and lead to another 4 years of war.
Austria being mad salty over a deal he isn't even honoring. The terms of the Deal were 1. Germany and Austria get to 1v1 (with the implicit understanding that whoever wins gets south Germany, something Austria has not given to Germany yet and is adamite he won't freely give up) 2. Russia DOES NOT DIRECTLY INTERVENE and defend against the attempted annexation of Romania by Austria. (there was no terms of giving Romania up freely, merely that Russia would not intervene in the war on either side) 3. Russia gets East Galicia regardless of outcome of the first two agreements (I actually dislike how Weevil kind of backs out of getting East Galicia due to Austria's whining) 4. The UK will enforce the above three terms on whoever side is being screwed over if someone backs out. The Romanian's launching a pre-emptive strike, winning battles, getting Russian advice and getting Ottomans to join on his side does not violate any of the terms of the agreement despite Austria whining that it does. The Russians did not pressure or threaten anyone into helping the Romanians and simply pointed out strategies that could work for the Romanians to win. Thus he did not actually intervene in any direct way.
Austria: _Doesn't mobilize, takes too long than necessary, doesn't take advantage on the numbers AND quality of some of those generals of 5/-5 in _*_good_*_ battles, tries to break the first deal of neutrality from Russia to interfere after the Ottos got in the romanian side, even though Russia didn't interfere directly, just suggested a possibility, antagonizes Russia for staying neutral and tries to call UK into the matter, multi-province retreat, rage-quits instead of taking responsability for their actions, just like Romania did having the understanding thought the situation obligated him to a "All or nothing" kind of deal_ This is the best timeline to be Switzerland.
Austria be like: "Mein furer the Ottomans joined Romania" "Get UK in!" * UK join * "Mein furer we remobelised and lost half of it because of multi-province retreat.... mein furer?" Not a bad move by the french player, since Prussia and Austria had settled their territorial dispute, it was obvious that he was next in line for Prussian ambitions. While the gains he made were rather small, he still obtained a somewhat more defensible border against the Germans (also wondering if Prussia might need it to form his map)

Weevil didn't make a deal with the Ottoman's or threaten them into aiding Romania. The Ottoman player choose of his own volition to exploit the opportunity and likely would have chosen to do so if he had noticed the opportunity himself, without Weevil's advice. Diagnosis: Austrian skill issue.
