It's great, every video on this channel is just a miracle, every time I watch a new episode, I am convinced how harmoniously the heroine of this channel herself, her camera and nature, Bravo merge into one.
You are so lovely! What a touching comment, thank you ☺️ thank you for making me smile and what a lovely way to start my day. Such a mythical style comment, I love this ☺️🙏🏻🌳🐞
The algorithm graced me with one of your videos yesterday. I've watched several since. I love your style of presentation and not getting lost in the technical details (we can look those up). There's a rare quality in your content. Refreshing. Easy to watch. Engaging. Definitely subscribed and already recommended your channel to a photo friend. Specific to this video, I start every day spending 20-30 minutes with my X-T4, the XF80, and a fresh cup of coffee wandering around my small lot (0.17 acres), taking macro shots of the littlest details. It gives my day perspective. No matter how much "big" stuff the world throws at my day, I'm already grounded in the little details that make up the foundation of the world. It's good for my soul and for my mental health. Thank you for being so genuine and producing wonderfully enjoyable content!
Another great video Victoria, thank you. Love my 80macro lens and it never ceases to amaze me how much more you see when you view the shots on screen, nature just blows me away! Looking forward to the next video. PS great to see Erik again.
Thank you! and yes, it is incredible! you look through the lens at the world and walk around going "wow!" at things that seemed once so simple. hehe yes Erik always has to make an appearance :)
Your videos are so dreamy and relaxing. Love seeing Eric with you on your photo walks; I take a camera with me every morning on my walks with my dog. I wished I could let him off the leash but he would just bolt (lol). He's very inquisitive and will get into any and everything. Anyway, it just brings a smile to my face seeing the both of you enjoying nature. Reminds me of when I was a kid lying in the grass staring at the sky without a care in the world. Innocence at it's highest form. Another great video as usual and thank you for sharing. On another note, I have the Laowa 65mm macro lens and it's an awesome little lens. If you want to lighten your load, try it out and you won't be disappointed with the results. Cheers!!!
Thank you for such a touching comment, it was lovely to read a small insight to your morning photography adventures with your dog - even if he can't go off the lead :D I am quite fortunate that Erik is calm and happy to potter about with not causing too much trouble. Thank you for the part about lying in the grass as a kid, to be honest I still feel like a kid in lots of ways and it's nice to still hold that in your heart - I think both photography and Erik have kept that in me. Yes I have seen the Laowa macro lenses, maybe I will get to try one in the future that would be great! they have such a cool selection of kit! Thanks again and enjoy your week :)
After a grotty day your beautiful film was the tonic I needed. Thank you. Lovely images and your joyful enthusiasm for what you are doing is so infectious ❤
Well I hope you day got better in the end, never nice having a grotty day - i hope today is full of awesomeness for you ☺️ And thank you for your lovely comment, nature and photography are my muse so it’s wonderful to share that (especially to an audience who enjoys it) ☺️🙏🏻🌳🐞
This is such a lovely thing to say and I hope I can always achieve this in my videos as well, as it’s how I feel about nature and life. So thank you 🐞🌳
What a beauty tiny world you share with us You and this great lens make it shine. The 80mm F2 macro is stunning and even for portrait photography. With a knob you can change the focus distance to the object and it has image stabilization. Therefore it is my favorite lens ever. So sharp and with stunning bokeh. Thanks for sharing beauty!
Beautiful, relaxing video. The music and slow motion work perfectly together. Yes, the ladybugs are stars of the video, but I enjoyed your emphasis on finding the best light throughout. Also, you demonstrated for a few brief moments the contortions you often have to put your body into to get down low. A better workout than yoga sometimes!
Fab video as always. Your video about macro tubes got me started in macro photography, but I always hankered after a proper macro lens. After looking at the macro lens options for Fuji, instead I bought a used Nikon D700 and Nikkor Micro 105 f2.8 G which is a superb set-up for creating dreamy stills.
Macro photography opens up a whole new universe! I personally love all these little details and I have fiddled a bit with an extension tube as well. It's quite challenging, but the results can be truly amazing, as you have shown in this video. Also, I was hoping you would do a shot of Erik's nose, and you did not disappoint. 😁
Beautiful video. I loved the greens in this 🙏🏾 very deep, rich and moody. I loved the images as well! I wish to try this form of photography one day soon. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you for this ☺️ yes I think a lot of photographers avoid greens but I love them! Especially in macro photography 🙂 definitely do, you will love it! And thank you for watching ☺️🙏🏻
I have an obsession with tree bark , I spend hours in woodlands seeking out different textures , shapes and colour; I use my phone so I can print a mini instax print for my inspiration book. They will eventually be turned into organic art. I see the magic of the macro and may get myself a fuji macro lens.
I think that is a wonderful obsession to have! It’s amazing how much bigger the world becomes when you look at all the details. Aw that is a lovely idea with the instax print for your book - that really is lovely. I think you would definitely love a macro lens but you already enjoy it so that’s what counts ☺️🙏🏻🐞
Lovely photos and superb video as always. I find you totally captivating, entrancing and breathtakingly beautiful. 😍 Best regards, to you and Eric. Dazza. 🇬🇧
I loved that and I have to admit I’ve never tried Macro photography in the wind so living here on the North East coast probably explains why I fail at it. Anyway I hope you have the lens back in the warmer hopefully summer months.
Aw well that is completely understandable! And I feel your pain 😄 but when the weather does get better (when 😅) I do hope you get to go out and make the most of it! 🙂
Excellent work! It looks like you’ve been doing macro for years, can’t believe it was the first time 😮 wonderful images and that Ladybug shots 😍😍 please do more macro stuff 🙏🏼

Bingo. Well done Victoria for starting macro photography. It is one of my favourite subjects. Please carry on as there is so much to see and do . I’m currently on the Isle of Mull having a go at Landscape photography so will now get down to the sea shore and try a bit of Macro although I haven’t got the correct lens. 😢 Loved the photos and videos especially Lying in the Garlic. 👍😂😂
I can see why it is one of your favourites, it is so absorbing - but in the best kind of way. I will do my best to carry on, I would like to as well, it is good fun! Aww have a wonderful time on Mull and I hope you get to see the beautiful wildlife there. Well, you will just have to go back with your macro lens next time - a great excuse :D
Really enjoyed this video because I’ve not long had this lens and been really struggling to get any clear shots because of the windy days we’ve been having. I’m getting a bit more used to the lens and been loving getting the ladybirds. Thanks so much for sharing the video 🙏 I’ve also found out the lens is compatible with the 1.4 teleconverter but not tried it yet 😍📷🙏
Well, I feel your pain completely! the wind has been sooo bad! I do hope you manage to get out soon though, especially as the spring flowers are all starting to make a lovely show. Ooooo I did not realise it was compatible with the teleconverter, that is awesome!! 🙌
I use this lens with my x pro3 and while the camera body isnt optimal for this lens, I still love it. OIS & IBIS would make for a fun combo because even with IBIS alone it can be hard to take shots without a tripod. Really awesome lens and it barely got any action in the winter
