As always feeling good and calm listening to Your adventures into the wild! Nice photos as always Victoria especially the close-ups! Keep on Your good work! Already waiting for the next one!
Thank you, glad you find it calming - it’s how I feel when I am out with nature. Yes I got some lucky moments on the island for sure, I miss that place already. I will hopefully bring the next one out in a week or so 😄 thanks again! 🙂✌🏻
Once again your passion for nature is infectious! Thank you for sharing this beautiful adventure. I hope one day to visit this absolutely magical place!
This is super lovely thank you! It’s definitely what brings me joy in life. And I really hope you get to visit the Isle of May one day as well, thank you be amazing! 🙂
Superb crystal clear photos and videos Victoria. Going to put Isle of May on my must do in Scotland list as it looks beautiful. Loved the pictures of the birds that look like a photo and then they suddenly move and it’s a video😳😂. Would recommend a visit to the isle of Staffa if you haven’t been there before as the puffins there are beautiful and you can have a sing in Fingals Cave which I did and cleared it out all of the tourists. 👍😂😂
Wow. I've watch many of the beautiful places you visit and was wondering if you ever tried astrophotography on these amazing places you visit. I can only imagine how amazing some of the places would look like with the Milkyway on them or Star Trails, light pantting ect... But please if you do, do it safely or with a companion if possible. I would help but you are far from the US. lol. But seriously, keep up the beautiful work you do. You have a lot of admirers here of your work!!!🤗
Such a wonderful trip! Great images and video! Your attitude is so infectious. Your joy is divine! I often wonder if you could possibly be so awesome in person? Thanks for letting me tag along even though you only had a short amount of time there.
Beautiful location and wonderful captures... consider yourself lucky! Even if you didn't get the ones you hoped for. But we can't force nature, it doesn't owe us - and that's the beauty of it! Just keep believing some day it will work out and in the meantime keep enjoying the moment (-;
Another great video Victoria, thank you. My attempt to get a puffin in the sea campion on Skomer failed this year too 😢 still, another good reason to go again next year!
Lovely video! I mostly shoot urban, documentary, and street photography, but watching this makes me want to pick up that 150-600 mm and photograph birds myself 😆
Hehe aww this is great! Thank you tor watching this too even though you mainly do documentary/street photography (which I find super hard and really fascinates me to see!). Well you never know you might just love it 🙂
Very nice video doing an activity I love in a beautiful location. Something I would personally appreciate to see is your exposure settings. Since you display your kit the settings could help someone like me to determine whether a piece of kit ( like the 2K Fuji lens ) is worth a look and it's capabilities.
Thank you very much! I actually normally post all the metadata on all my videos - check out my other ones and you will see. But I just didn't the time or mental capacity to sit doing it this time as it takes far too long but if there is a particular photo you would like to know the settings of then just let me know and I will reply on here 🙂✌🏻
Well I don’t think so because the AF worked great with these shots. I think most of them were AF, just have to adjust your settings to suit the environment/subject 🙂
@@wildandfreevictoriainspiring. I have the same lens and need to go shoot some wildlife this week. Haven’t even creeped out my apartment female community recently with the lens shooting squirrels….
Thank you! And you know what.. i haven’t updated in aaaaages.. like months now way before the last 2 update. I just keep forgetting but my gear is working well.. maybe it is about time I updated 😅
@@wildandfreevictoria nah dont update, keep the version you got because many videos about 7.0 issues so dont take the risk. It's good realize dont need update as yet wait until the new ones comes out to correct the issue. I'm saving get xh2s to do wildlife filmmaking.
@@wildandfreevictoria cheers...... May now located on Google Maps. I was trying to photo Eskdale Green looking out to The Isle of Man last week..... not much of a success. The age old complication of light and dark..... cameras don't cope well with the exposure.
Lovely pictures and video, those closeup portraits in slow motion are amazing! Thank you!
Thank you! It was a lovely moment just to sit and watch up close ☺️☺️

What a beautiful adventure! One aspect of photography I love is all the adventures I go on using photography as a reason :-)
It really is what makes the whole experience amazing and then looking back at your pictures afterwards it makes it all more memorable 🙂
What a fab adventure !!!! Great video and footage/photos
It was really lovely and thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

I use the 150-600 together with the 1.4x teleconverter. The results are fantastic. So sharp even at 600mm. This is a beautiful lens.
I havent tried it yet with the teleconverter but this is great to know! And so glad you love it as well, it is a wonderful lens!
what camera did you use this on ?
@fer-by6pg it says it on each photo - the fujifilm XH2s and the XH2 this is a second part of the vlog so the first one shows the equipment
Beautiful imagery Victoria, both video and still. My favorite are always the Puffins, but they were all beautiful.
Thank you very much ☺️🙏🏻 and yes, the puffins are super sweet and adorable for sure ☺️
❤❤❤ Love your movie Victoria!❤❤❤👌
Aw thank you very much I appreciate it a lot 🙂🙂

Stunning work Victoria, you really are a rare talent with both stills and video bringing a sense of calm and beauty of nature.
This is such a lovely comment, thank you so much ☺️ it’s all shot from the heart, which I think helps. Thank you again for you kind words 🙏🏻
Good and inspiring videos. Watching your videos makes me regret not buying a 150-600 lens when I could afford it.
Aww thank you! And i’m sorry, you can always rent it out though for now if need be 🙂🙂
Bravo Victoria! 👏❤
Aw thank you ☺️
it's even more fun taking the high speed rib out to the isle, thought I'd hate it but loved it..
It is such good fun right? Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Yay,yay and yay.😂 Thanks for another excellent video.
Awww thanks! It’s a bit of a backlog video but I got there in the end 😄
@@wildandfreevictoria It was well worth the wait, the close up head images and video are just wow.
I wanna go there😢 beautiful shots!!

What film simulation are you using to edit your photos? ty
I shoot in RAW and either use standard film simulation or Reala ace 🙂
Dear self: please find a way to visit the Isle of May...
Aww please do! You will love it! I and hoping for you! ☺️✌🏻
£60.... very reasonable.
Yes I think so, well worth it! There are cheaper boats from Anstruthers in Fife but I go from Dunbar 🙂
