- This X5 e53 had a bad day when the previous owner decided to mount an aftermarket audio system and above all he contacted the wrong guy to do that! But today the car is in good hands and it will be restored to it's former glory ! This process is splitted in two separate videos!

Fuses are always placed to protect the lines and are dimensioned according to them, not the equipment that is connected to the lines. Great job as always, well done!

I love the restore of this beauty bmw, I have 17 years old im from italy, I mount a dash cam in my dad car, I passed all the cables inside the original cable guides, looks like a oem job 😅

a well deserved back to original or stock fit. Until next episode your speakers dilemma could be solved using a 1.5v battery since you have at least a color is not necessary to observe the travel of speaker membrane.
You mentioned digital cd changer however on a quick google search aliexpers and china stuff came up but I know there is something better like grom or bluebus or dynason. Can you tell us witch product have you used? from your experience witch one worth mounting on a bmw? I an currently using a grom usb 2 witch is not perfect but for a non dsp e39 keeps the steering wheel functions intact plus bt plone bt strean usb audio plus answering or rejecting calls with your phone in the pocket. oh and yes caller id is shown on the mid also. Perhaps you could do a dedicated video upon this subject.

YES! Get that shitty android player out of there! I Absolutely HATE all of them.
For E46/39/38 ertc i can HIGHLY reccomend the Bluebus device for bluetooth audio streaming, it also have some extra features.
I have it in my E39 and its really awsome! I also retrofitted orginal backup camera, its a really nice thing to have!
And all on the factory screen. 🙂

sometimes this amplifier will fail (from water) and costumer dont want to pay 1000e for new one or 500e for used that's solution even with labor its much cheaper

6:30 thats not true. For all E46/E53/E83 - from 2004 appeared tv module with not only analog, but same digital. (from factory), so it depends, its also called "hybrid"
